What a disappointment. We hired Gilbert because we had used his Dad before he retired and turned the company over to Gilbert. We liked the job his father did so we figured his son would have the same skills and work ethic. We hired Gilbert to install 2 shower glass enclosures and doors. At first glance the work seemed fine. But after moving into the home a few weeks later, we discovered the shower door glass in our master bathroom was not at the same height as the rest of the glass surround. We brought this to Gilbert's attention and he said the glass door was installed first since the other glass had broken in transit. If this was the case he should have waited for the surround before he installed the door since that is why there was a height difference. We asked him to fix the issue and he said that it would need to put a hole in the tile where the glass meets the wall which would possibly show. Of course, we didn't want two visible holes in the tile so we decided we would have to live with it. Then we also noticed that in both bathrooms there is a lot of silicon caulking where the glass meets the tile extending out from the glass on both sides by about 1-2 inches. We called him about this as well and he told us he would come out to remove the glue. 2 weeks later Gilbert was nowhere to be found. So, we texted and called him 3 times and have never heard back. Gilbert also filled the gaps between the bottom of the glass and the tile with up to ¼ inch of caulking in both bathrooms which looks terrible. It looks like an amateur measured the glass and just added clear caulking to dummy it up. Of course, after a few weeks the caulking is not clear so it looks really bad. All of this cost us $4,000!!! Unbelievable. Update: we finally got Gilbert on the phone and after many excuses as to why his work was the way it was, he agreed to come out and fix his work. He came out, looked things over and told us he would get back to use once he ordered a part he needed to order to even up the door with the glass surround. That was several weeks ago, several calls and texts, and still no Gilbert. I hope that his father reads this review as he should know what his son is doing to his company's reputation. Called and spoke to Gilbert , who seemed nice over the phone . He said he would stop buy to fix the shower strip because it was leaking water when being used. I Did not here from him during the time he said he would come to fix the issue so I texted him and he replied with he wasn't going to be able to make it . He didn't even try to set up another time just dismissed the whole conversations had prior . If you need someone to fix anything with your shower, be aware he might not show up and your time will be wasted waiting around. read more

I and my wife wanted to remove an old, protruding window box, hanging on the front of our house and replace it with a modern double pane, insulated window. G3 came out and did an awesome job. Gave us a quick estimate, ordered the window, and in no time at all we had a brand new window installed. Gilbert does very clean work, very professional, and most of all fare with his pricing.The quality of the workmanship and materials used far exceeded our expectations. Come to find, that is all he will ever use. You get what you pay for... Quality begets quality! I like his way thinking. Why quote and use cheap materials, that he will have to fix later, specially in wet environments. When he could quote on higher quality materials, that will last for years and have a better outcome, with happier clients and zero complaints. Best glass work ever!! I've spent many years contemplating replacing my back door because it was a custom fit and wasn't sure I wanted another simple double French door again... I'm tired of the wood feel. So I contacted Gilberto and he was a pleasure to work with. He provided me with an estimate and within a week he installed my top of the line custom 1 huge panel door with black mat color...it's simply amazing and everyone that's sees it for the first time compliments begin to fly. G3 Glass did a fantastic job cleaning & restoring the glass enclosure around our shower. It was covered in scale, with rusted hinges and rotting rubber edging. They replaced & cleaned everything and it looks good as new. Most of the other companies I talked to tried to talk e into replaciong the enclosure altogether which was much more expensive of course.
