Don't go here! If you value anonymity and intimacy this is NOT the place for you. Paying customers 40/60+ are asked for their IDs under their cameras. If you're comfortable with them having that information, their weird staff with follow you around the small store and continue to ask what you are looking for. They'll even include others in the conversation as you're checking out. Save half the price and order from Amazon or take the 10 minute drive to Arden where there is privacy and tons more (not so overpriced) selection and room. Just left at a midnight on a Monday night/Tuesday morning and had to practically beg for a plastic bag. I spent $30 on small items and explained that I was taking a like home and asked for a bag with handles. She told me that they don't use those for small purchases. I explained the basketless bike again and that I didn't have pockets and was out making an impulse buy. She sighed and glared but gave me the bag. While visiting Sacramento I decided to go in to this shop because it was close to where I was staying but was very hesitant to walk in here because of the other reviews. I didn't want to do this....but I feel like I have to after last weeks visit. I try and try to give this place the benefit of the doubt and to support local businesses or WHATEVER but they make it damn near IMPOSSIBLE to do that. A friend of mine was me visiting me in midtown and mentioned wanting to go to the G spot because she had never been and I literally live 6 blocks away so I said sure let's go. Mind you, before we left I warned her about a bald white man that often works there that makes your entire shopping experience unpleasant and quite frankly uncomfortable. The last time I was there I was nothing short of harassed by this man, followed around every corner of the store and the store is tiny. I was reprimanded for having my phone in my hand, I'm an adult... I don't need to take videos or photos of your products for shits and giggles. I can and will have my phone out for price comparisons to make sure I'm not being ripped off. Anyway, so I warned about him... hoped he wasn't there blah blah blah we walk up and hey, hello! It's him. I immediately cringe and just want to turn around and take her to autonomous love or something but I don't. We walk in and he's surprisingly friendly, greets us whatever, we are cruising then he stands up and he's like the two of you look REALLY young can I see your id's....sure mr. you absolutely can! I have never been asked for identification when I visited this establishment before, not even by him... but I digress. We show id we start walking to the back and he asks my friend for her bag (a mini back pack) trust me ain't no rabbits or dildos fitting in that thing. So we are browsing the back walls and such and he gets up and starts to fake check inventory and fiddle with things on the walls and basically watch us the entire time. We ended up cutting our visit short because we felt profiled. Here's the thing... if you want good, quality service like if that matters to you, do not visit this store. I had higher hopes for the G-spot. I hate to leave a poor review because I think midtown needs a decent sex toy shop, but this one didn't work for me. To be fair I'm more inclined to a gentrified, higher-end store. It's a small space, and the evening I was there, a man was working and a woman was with him. He had a tendency to follow customers (just me at first and then a couple of guys), asking questions. Based on my responses, he showed me some products in the back, but they weren't high quality and not quite what I was looking for, and I really wanted to just browse on my own. He offered to order a different version of one toy, but I declined. I then became interested in something in the LeLo case and both the man and woman pitched it enthusiastically. I nearly bought it, but decided to wait so I could find some product reviews, as it was over $200 and thus not a wise impulse buy. In researching the toy I found that g-spot had priced it something on the order of $50 over msrp. I get that brick and mortar means paying more, but I don't think I've seen that level of markup before. read more

Do not recommend shopping at this store. I have seen everything online with discounts! While there I was reading a text messaged and accused of taking a photo while the phone was facing the floor.
