En donde fui enviada de vuelta a casa por el Dr. Francisco Cruz, también parte de Bayshore, con contracciones, SI! ME MANDARON A CASA CON CONTRACCIONES. Me pusieron el toco monitor pero no lo leyeron (de esto nos dimos cuenta porque tomamos fotos y luego investigamos). Me trataron como tonta por ser mi primer bebé y me mandaron a casa con contracciones diciéndome que lo que necesitaba era beber agua, que el dolor pélvico se me quitaría al siguiente mes y que si necesitaba algo solo llamara a la línea de emergencia de bayshore. Y a las pocas horas rompí fuente en casa. Llame mil veces a sus líneas de emergencia antes de romper fuente y ni ellos ni los Triana, ni Cárdenas atendieron. Todos ignoraron mi llamado. Y por eso estoy dejando este review porque todos los días pienso en las mujeres que van a este lugar y pueden tener una emergencia y que ni siquiera le contesten. Yo estoy viva gracias a intervención oportuna del servicio de ambulancias de la ciudad de Miami. Quienes tuvieron que detener la ambulancia varías veces vía a hospital para estabilizarme. Y también por su buen juicio en no llevarme a Mercy Hospital, aún cuando vivo solo a 7 minutos. Me dijeron "allí no te van a atender bien". My postpartum appointment was impersonal; she did not remember basic details about me and also asked the gender of my child she had just delivered. It was laughed off as she was so busy, how could she remember them all. The associated OB she must work with to overlook her patients, Dr. Cantero, provided rushed, impersonal care. We received quick ultrasounds without much explanation or even time to enjoy the experience. He left the room so fast once, leaving the door wide open while I was reclined half naked in the chair needing help to get up. Worst of all, he incorrectly gave us our baby's gender ensuring he was "99% sure." I still STRONGLY advise choosing a qualified OB over midwifery, especially if complications or health concerns arise. Nelly lacked empathy (possibly the knowledge) and care to send me high-risk help in my situation. With such great reviews on both providers, I felt the need to leave my honest, detailed experience hoping it helps someone.
