Needless to say, he couldn't find our appointments. He managed to squeeze us in, apparently by giving us some other woman's timeslot bc she showed up pitching a fit during our sprays. We asked where to go for the service. And instead of going behind reception to the salon rooms, we were sent back out the door to the salon, up a few flights of stairs inside an old apartment building. When we got to the piles of black garbage bags stacked in the hallway, the door to the spray room was to the right. There's a tiny, shabby waiting room, if you can call it that, and a janky storage room/janitor closet. Plus, the woman getting sprayed had left her stuff all over the one chair, open handbag and everything. The tan itself didn't really look like much, except on my face, which was really dark. But everywhere else you couldn't really notice it. So, nope. Would not recommend. PS: If this review convinces you to go here, be prepared to get totally nay-nay except for disposable paper undies.

They have good covid measures in place too right now, with a temperature check at the door, a big jug of hand sanitizer on the front desk, and masks required all around. As I tried to explain my situation, she told me I was arguing and didn't allow me the opportunity to speak. Not only was she unable to give me the results that are expected from injecting a nodule pimple with a cortisone shot (the whole point in paying for the shot is to see flattening within 48 hours), but even worse - her technique was so shockingly poor that it caused severe fat atrophy in the entire area on my face. This has left an EXTREMELY noticeable dent in my face for several months that I now had to visit two separate med spas for consultations and ultimately had to pay $900 for a syringe of filler to see a slight resolution in the damage she caused. When I initially reached out to Dr. Niu about my concern of this divot due to fat atrophy in April 2025, she was extremely dismissive and took no accountability for the negative side-effect of her work. She mentioned that she had already provided me a refund (which was false because she had only given me a PARTIAL refund) and did not offer to fix the problem that she had created. The partial refund she gave me did not even begin to cover the amount of money I had to spend to fix this. I have pictures of the damage she caused as well as my text messages with her that show how unprofessional, condescending, and dismissive she was throughout the experience. Obviously this was distressing and disheartening for me as a patient. She is not a trustworthy or skilled practitioner and a simple conversation with her will prove that she's not confident speaking to a lot of the procedures she offers. I regret going against my intuition and trusting her anyway. She deletes her bad reviews and the one or two bad reviews that I have seen on here, she has replied to in an immature and dismissive manner that would not be expected from a true professional doctor. I am reporting her to the New Jersey Medical Licensing Board because this is absolutely unacceptable and I don't want other women to go through what I did. If you have also experienced this and seen that your review was somehow removed by her, I urge you to do the same.
