She's the best, loves her customers and community. Always happy to see me and my kids!

I was looking forward to using the service after reading the good reviews, but their business hours are very limited and did not fit mine. Unable to use the service, so nothing to comment on it. read more

G J Cleaner - Very limited Business hours - Laundry Services Near Me - San Francisco, California

I only go to this place for dry cleaning. They do great work and fair in regards to cost.

I always take my Wrangler 13MWZ's and Wrangler 936's to GJ Cleaners, and she always does a bang-up job. Starched, pressed, and looking sharp every single time. It's hard to find someone who knows how to handle jeans just right, but she nails it. Reliable, friendly, and takes real pride in her work. Couldn't ask for better service. read more

Vivian is always very careful and thorough with our dry cleaning. We've been going to GJ Cleaners for years! She also knows how best to clean and press my shirts. I recently brought in two leather coats to which Vivian suggested simply using warm water and mild detergent to eliminate a small amount of mold frequently found on leather rather than to dry clean...thus saving me the unnecessary expense. She however did suggest the other require dry cleaning on the lining. I heartily recommend GJ Cleaners for all your needs! read more

Friendly service and quality cleaning. Seems that dry cleaners are starting to become more rare, so I'm going to continue supporting GJ.

I've been going to Vivienne at GJ for 10 years and she is excellent. The cleaning and communication is wonderful but what is not known is that Vivienne is a great seamstress who has taken in or refit a lot of clothes for me. Highly recommend. read more

Love GJ! Been a customer for a long time. Vivian does magic! Say hello to Noodle! read more

Amazing service and very reasonable pricing. She will make sure that your clothes are taken care of and will work with you even outside of hours if you need to pick something up. This is the only place I trust and know will get things right the first time. read more

Vivian is great! I've going to her a few years now for both alterations and dry cleaning. She's friendly and professional. Her prices are reasonable, and I'm glad to give my business to someone who actually cares about their craft and their clients. read more

I've only come here for alterations, mostly dresses and Vivienne is always dependable especially with short notice she's able to work her magic to make my clothes fit perfectly! This place isn't close to me at all, but because of the consistently great service from Vivienne I can't get myself to go anywhere else when I need something tailored. Her prices are very reasonable too, which I imagine to be the same with dry cleaning options. Would highly recommend this place! read more

GJ is my new go-to dry cleaner. No, it's not that close to where I live and no, it's not as cheap as my neighborhood place in LA. But at some point, I had to stop living in my fantasyland of LA prices and face the reality of SF. GJ does a great job and a reasonable price and Vivian is super friendly. This is a local business that I will be supporting as long as I live here and keep working at my non-tech business casual work environment. read more

Vivian is AMAAAAAAAAAAAAZING!!! I'm short, so I often need my pants and dresses/skirts hemmed. Vivian does this in record time and for a negligable fee. She is also so sweet, and very honest when I ask for her opinion on how something looks. She is also in the process of making me a custom mermaid tail (it will serve one specific purpose, and then be the best Halloween/Purim/life costume EVER!). If you need alterations, Vivian is your woman. They also do a fine job of dry cleaning. read more

Fast and Friendly. I don't even live in the neighborhood, but I have family who does and I've brought over a few items to this cleaners just for the service. Vivian knows her stuff, she'll take care of you. And prices are reasonable. read more

Affordable, nice lady. Even if she's closed, she'll most likely answer your call cuz she's working in there.

Great friendly service at a reasonable price. Vivian and Jeff are great! They provide quick, quality dry cleaning and also minor alterations (hemming and such). I've had visitors tell me that wish they could live in Mission Terrace just so they could drop off their dry cleaning at G & J. (Really, I'm not kidding) Insider tip: Vivian knows EVERYTHING about this neighborhood. What a resource! read more

I have been very fortunate in SF to find dependable cleaners. Most of the things I take there are shirts and suits, but I've also taken in tux shirts, a rhinestoned shirt that had a curry stain and have taken in pants for alterations! So far they've done a great job on everything. One of my favorite things is that she always remembers my name and is already getting my order by the time I get in the door. There is nothing better than the feeling that a business knows and appreciates you as an individual. The only draw back is that they don't take credit cards and I have to remember to have cash or check when I go there. They are worth the hassle though. read more

This is a (Chinese) family owned cleaner, most work are done on site. They do a pretty good job. It's difficult to find a good cleaner you can trust. It's kind of like finding a good mechanic.... They also do awesome work on alterations at a fair price. If you live in the area, give them a try. read more

Great Service for dry cleaning and alterations. I have used them for both and Vivian is super dependable and friendly. She even sewed me a duvet from fabrics i purshased at discount fabrics and did a great job matching the seams (even though i should have really purchased more fabric) They do all their own work and don't send it out which makes their service even speedier! read more

This Cleaners is amazing she has a smile on her face every time and always willing to listen and help. The work done there is perfect and I can't believe the prices. She will take care of you and help you no matter what. She treats you like family. I really am so happy with this wonderful cleaners and can't say enough. This is the only place for all of us. God bless you always read more

Been going here for 10+ years. Vivian is super sweet and wonderful. Dry cleaning is well done and quick. She does alterations too and even helped me out with my bustle for my wedding dress even if she doesn't do wedding gowns. Lots of local police have their uniforms done here too, you can see all their uniforms lined up on the rack. :) read more

One of the best things about living in Mission Terrace is that I'm walking distance to this place. Vivian is unfailingly sweet and has (on multiple occasions) helped me out when I was running late but still needed the pants for a business trip. She'd open up after closing and let me pick up my clothes. read more

Dropped off my dresses and the service was excellent. She was very attentive, personable, and professional. Great local dry cleaner and alteration business. Prices are reasonable and cash only. read more

I love Vivian. My family and I have been using GJ cleaners for the last 20 years and continue to use her even though we've moved away from the area. She dry cleans our items so well and and timely, and also takes care of our alteration needs. read more

We had about 9 articles of clothing and it costed under 60! Dropped it off around Tuesday, picked up Friday. Quick, close, friendly service. Ended up chatting with the owner in cantonese - they've been in business for 20+ years for a reason! read more

Vivian is awesome! She's been taking care of all my families clothes for nearly 25 years. I love this place.

It's always good to have a relationship with your dry cleaner and this is the place to do it. Vivian is super friendly and gets the job done. Our whole family brings our basic dry cleaning here and I've had a few things hemmed. I'm always happy with the job. Vivian is also very accommodating, opening up when I am running late and quick turnover when I decide what I am going to wear just one day before. Definitely a solid place to go! read more

I love Vivian!! She's friendly, and remembers who you are even after only the second time you've been there. The service is fast, and depending on what you are getting (I usually go in for alterations), she can have it ready in 1 day. Prices are cheap for the great quality work. And despite it always being busy, I've never had any complaints about this place!! read more

so it all started on a thursday evening after work, I just ate dinner and I needed to get my suit altered on the sleeves. I called to get a quote over the phone and got a pretty good quote compared to other places I called. I went ahead and drove there since they close at 7:30 on weekdays, which was awesome compared to most places closing at 6:30. They're owned by a chinese couple and vivian i believe at the desk is so helpful. I can def. say that if you speak chinese, it helps. but, i'd have to say vivian speaks really good english too so dont be scurrrred! anyways, i got my suit altered. coat = sleeves shortened about an inch to fit perfectly pants = got them shorter too also got one sport coat altered on the sleeves and on the waist area to fit more slim over all, all at a great price! picked them up by the next week and they all fit perfectly. no defects either! speaking of that, i just brought another suit for dry cleaning and for the coat to be altered too. they really do good work! read more

This place has been taking care of me and my family's clothes for over 20 years.I can always count on them for anything.

I've been going there since they opened (or pretty close to it), about 15 years ago. I've since moved to Pac Heights but still go to GJ all the way across town. That says it all! read more

Great place to get dry cleaning. Reasonable prices. They do everything there. Very fast and reliable.

Vivian and Jeffrey are reliable and prompt. Their prices are very reasonable. They always comes through when I'm in a pinch. Besides dry cleaning, Vivian can also do alterations. Like their name, they really do a Good Job! read more

I've been coming here the last several years so this is definitely my go to dry cleaning place. I come here for alterations and dry cleaning. My sister even got here dress altered here and Vivian did a great job. When you drop by say hi to Noodle, the owners dog. read more

I did not have a positive experience here. I attempted to drop off one item on Saturday afternoon and the woman working behind the counter was not very helpful at all. First of all, I tried to tell her about a stain on my coat and she tried to argue with me that it was not due to a patch that I had on it. Don't you think I would know how my coat got stained? I needed it by Tuesday morning and I was hoping to pick it up at 7:30am but apparently they don't open at 7:30 anymore, but rather at 8:30am. Tried to see if there was any way to get it by late Monday night, but she wouldn't budge. Shouldn't it be dry cleaned by Monday night anyway if I were planning to pick it up first thing on Tuesday? Basically I got the feeling that she did not want my business. read more

Vivian is great! I was recommended by a friend. We used to live around the corner. Even since moving, I haven't found anyone else I trust to do alterations and dry cleaning. Today, I tried looking for a more convenient place closer to home, and all have really bad reviews. I'm just going to stick to who I know. Plus she's super friendly. read more

Vivian is absolutely awesome. The cleaning is fast, reliable, and inexpensive, but my favorite service is their tailoring. You can trust Vivian with everything from jeans to suits. I don't have enough good things to say - you'll have to see if for yourself. read more

Vivian is friendly, gets my dry-cleaning and hemming done quickly, and relatively cheap. I wish she took credit cards, since half the time I forget my checkbook and/or don't have any cash, but that's a minor, minor complaint. I'd recommend her to anyone looking for a great cleaner! read more

Love GJ and Vivian is the BEST. She does excellent work and is very accommodating. I take all my alterations to her and she does a fantastic job every time. Dry cleaning is also excellent. I live in the Peninsula and I don't mind making the drive to SF because she's the best. read more
