There's enough surplus there to keep me exploring for hours. I found that Fat Al's also delivers great customer service while shopping there. I met "Chris" who offered me outstanding customer support. She checked on me periodically offering to help or answer any questions and was happy to open show cases to allow for a closer look at the items that interested me. I left Fat Al's very happy (and my wallet a bit lighter!). I look for to returning there soon.

The new location is in the Century Plaza where Tres Mariposas and Nono's is located. The store has a great calm feel to it and the owner is very sweet. There is a variety of clothes, accessories and shoes to choose from. They carry Havaianas which is true must, as well as other designers. I think their price range is totally reasonable which makes me think that the owner knows her market. Overall, I think visiting this place is totally worth it!

However, I can't find the PE shirts anywhere else. For that reason, I've been coming to Sports World for a couple of years now. I think it's a local business. If it is, that's great! Each shirt I bought was $10.95 plus tax. The shirts include the mascot/logo from my son's school. Whatever happened to wearing any old shirt for PE? It's a small place but they got the job done quickly. I told them exactly what he needed and the rest was history. I was out of the store in about five minutes. Sports World specializes in embroidery and logos on shirts, caps, etc. They also have several other options on their website. I'm sure I'll be back whenever my son needs something for school. The one they offered was $40 which I wasn't too keen on spending. The employees were friendly and since it is a small store, it was very easy for them to greet us and offer any help. It was also fun to navigate the store with their shelves of goods. Perhaps it's because I'm just not savvy enough to understand the value of certain vintage items but I would see a different priced shirts from other stores go for $40 but then this My Chemical Romance shirt for $80. I didn't even realize MCR was already vintage enough to be $80 but it is what it is. I honestly just love looking at stores that offer fun relics like this store and gave me big time nostalgia. I wouldn't mind peeking in whenever in the area for pho and maybe I'll find something I could get behind.
