The company failed to follow up with my inquiry about a quote. Very disappointing. Maybe Fedale only wants to do roofs.

Very informative throughout the entire process. A young man named Chad was the best. Highly recommend, great work.

We have had our Gutter Guards on our house for 2 months now and they are awesome! Here's a little…read morebackground... Although our house is new construction, we knew we needed gutter guards (and possibly larger gutters) due to problems that were already arising from the gutters that were present. When we met with Jenn, our salesperson, we were very comfortable with her assessment of our situation. She explained everything about Gutter Guys, their products, installation, and how she came to her recommendation for our home. We completely agreed that we needed larger gutters and definitely guards! We never felt pressured and we never felt like there was an upsell. Jenn welcomed all our questions--and continues to, even after installation. She is a great rep and knows her stuff! When it came time to install, we worked with Katie and Kim from the office, both of whom were super patient with my questions and with explaining the scheduling process with me. The were both pleasant, informative, and kind. Our installation was done by John and Larry, and I can't say enough about how great they were! They were on time, were very pleasant, welcomed questions, worked well as a team, had a clean job site, cleaned up after they were done, and were very respectful of me and our home. When I came out at the end of the day to see their work, I was so pleased! We purchased the Gutter Guards for their functionality, but John and Larry did such a wonderful job that I told them that they made my house prettier! I could really see that they took pride in their work and wanted it too function and look as good as possible! I've waited a few months to post this review because I wanted to see how the Gutter Guards worked in heavy rain. Well, a week or so ago, we had really heavy rain and the Gutter Guards were amazing! Every problem that we had had with the original gutters was fixed! So now, not only do the gutter look great, but my foundation, roof, and concrete steps are protected. What an amazing and smart investment! All in all, I would totally recommend Gutter Guys from Milford, DE to anyone! Our team of Jenn, Katie, Kim, John and Larry were so great! They all worked together to make our home safer and more attractive. Thank you Guys!!!

My wife and I have a home in Bethany Beach with a steep roof. In heavy rainstorms water would spill…read moreover the gutters, so we looked on Yelp and had The Gutter Guys come out to give us an estimate to fix the problem. The result: I needed larger 6" gutters and downspouts, priced at about $6,000 for the job. We signed the contract on the spot, in the end of January (when we weren't here) they came out to do the work, sent the bill electronically the next day, which I paid the day I received it with the work sight unseen. BIG MISTAKE!!!! A few months later we got to our vacation home and could not believe the job. Yes, the gutters and downspouts were replaced, but the drip edge (running from under the roof shingles and wrapping around the corners of the roof) looked like an opened tuna can. Worse, actually. Pictures are attached. Upon reaching out to The Gutter Guys it took about 2 weeks before the sales rep who sold me the job could come look at it. He told me what was done to get the old gutters off the house was "normal." If that's normal, I wonder what abnormal would look like. He did note some areas that needed more work and told me the crew would come back to address the other issues. And he told me that to fix the problem caused by his crew I'd have to go to a roofer. That was in May. By August they had not shown up to fix any of the issues, though I did have two other gutter companies come to look at the work and advise me on how to fix it. Both of the other gutter companies said they'd never seen a roof drip edge left in that condition and that "normal" was certainly not the word they'd use to describe it. After repeated conversations with The Gutter Guys sales rep he did say his crew should have noted the problem and that, as a minimum, I should have been sent pictures so I'd know what to expect when we returned to the home in the spring. In late August The Gutter Guys refunded roughly 10% of the job's price for the drip edge. My wife and I just got the roof replaced -- many times more expensive than the 10% refund -- to fix the problem caused by The Gutter Guys. We're now having the house painted, and just found wood rot (see picture) under one of the downspouts that were replaced by The Gutter Guys. It's not possible that their crew missed this wood rot, but, like the other problems and substandard work, I wasn't informed of this. And I wouldn't have known as the problem became worse had I not been getting my house painted. I'm willing to guarantee that the owner of The Gutter Guys wouldn't tolerate this kind of work on his own home. And I'll also guarantee none of the crew who did this to my house would have done this kind of work on their own homes. Gutter Guys are perfect for your job. Provided that you're looking for workers who will damage your home, not let you know about it, cover it up, and have to be dragged kicking and screaming to take any degree of accountability for their shoddy work. Worst company I have ever worked with. Absolutely horrible. RUN, DON'T WALK, AWAY FROM THE GUTTER GUYS.

This past week Delaware Roofing & Gutter Pros put in a brand new roof at the beach house I visit in…read moreDewey Beach. Bottom line, absolutely top drawer service! The crew was there promptly at 8AM and in addition to the crew chief, two separate supervisors showed up and checked on the work. One very impressive thing about the crew was how "clean" they worked. What I mean by that is the crew did not let stuff collect around on the ground. Old shingles, paper, and plywood were going into the bin and not on the ground. Everyone in the crew knew their job and no one, I mean no one, was ever standing around. The crew took a lunch break and they were finished before the sun went down. As for value, the final price came in under the original quote because less materials were needed. The owner, Mr. Faye, visited while the crew was finishing up and notified us about the reduction in the final quote and he was true to his word when the final bill was mailed. I searched the grounds around the house the next day and did not find a nail or a piece of shingle. Mr. Faye's crew used stainless nails which are important for a roof in a beach environment. We are absolutely thrilled with the new roof. I wholehearted endorse Mr. Faye and his crew, and yes, they took care of everything. They got the permit approved in 48 hours and began work on the start date we agreed upon. Very, very smooth operation!

The project foreman, Martin, was fantastic and easily contacte by text. I was out of town during the process and neighbors told me how clean, efficient and professional the team was while working. I've got a beautiful new roof and could not have been more pleased with the service. I recommend Bill and his team highly!

Bayside Exteriors, Lewes, DE replaced my roof. They did an absolutely awesome job! I had a large…read morejob (2,100 sq ft home with 6/12 roof pitch, XL 2-car garage, and a porch). They install 30 and 50 year GAF shingles. They have a high business rating with GAF, so they can offer their customers a 35-year warranty on installed GAF shingles! They came out for an estimate, went up on the roof to check it out and came down with a lot of photos, rot, black mold, holes in the boards. Because the contractor who built my garage David Carr, Homestead Contracting (BUYER BEWARE - it looks good until you find all the damage that has been done over time) did not properly attach the garage to the house, it had leaked in many places. Problems with the roof: 1) Mr. Carr never framed the garage properly for it to drain. 2) Mr. Carr NEVER installed flashing where the garage met my house. He pieced together small flashing sections on my porch because he didn't have a large enough piece. 3) Mr. Carr never installed roof vents for ventilation on the garage or my porch. 4) He butted the shingles up to the existing shingles on my house. They should have crossed over the joints. 5) It leaked everywhere where Mr. Carr attached the garage to my house. I had 2 roofing contractors tell me that the roof should have never been connected to my house the way that it was. You might think you're getting a nice-looking garage and roof, but 15 to 20 years later, when your roof needs replaced, you find out how much rot and black mold they have to remove. It is NOT worth the price you saved. Do it right in the first place. Get a REPUTABLE contractor. Bayside Exteriors gave us an estimate. They have a GAF Master Elite rating. Only 2% of the contractors achieve this rating. Their expertise in explaining everything that was done incorrectly and showing us all the rot was impressive. They had a special if you signed within 30 days you got the 35-year warranty for free, which normally cost just under $2000. If a storm blows off the shingles, they come out and fix them for free. The warranty is transferable to one buyer. They showed up with 10 men on my job. They had equipment delivered, a large dumpster, portable commode, and a dumpster that lifts up to the edge of the roof. They placed large sheets of tarp all around the house. They threw the shingles in the small dumpster as they removed them. When the small lift dumpster was full, they dumped it in the large dumpster. Another truck arrived with a tall crane-like lift which lifted the pallets of shingles up to the roof. Bayside had to use 5 boards of OSB to get rid of all the rot and mold. It was even in the walls. They had everything they needed to do a high quality job. They had a supervisor on the roof and a supervisor on the ground. They kept the yard clean so it wouldn't fly away to the neighbor's yards. Bayside Exteriors did a highly professional job. I am extremely happy with their work. I now have roof vents on the garage and porch and proper flashing. They put rubber on the roof at the back garage joint which was improperly connected to the house and had leaked so much over the years. They were done in 1 day. It all looks so much more professional than my first builder had done. I was very impressed with the workmanship of the staff and their professionalism. We bought 40 pieces of fried chicken, chips, cookies, soda, and tea for them for lunch. They were very appreciative. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this #1 company to anyone replacing a roof. I would leave 10 stars if I could. Call Bayside Exteriors. They are a step above! Their price was only $200 more than a competitor and the warranty was worth it.
