I have taken pilates, yoga and have have hired personal trainers throughout my life. My experience…read moreat Inspiring Motion exceeded my expectations. I am now addicted to this place. Jennine Baille has extensive training and experience. Her sessions are very restorative and strengthening. My posture has improved, my core is strong, I am more flexible and have more stamina. It does not feel like you are getting a hard workout. I feel energized and great after. Not tired. But the next day, I can feel it. Over time, you can see it! Jennine told me that we store certain emotions in our stomach and hips. When these areas are aligned and released, negative emotions are released too. To release and process emotions has been healing and an added benefit to the pilates experience. Across from the beach in Laguna. Top quality machines. I highly recommend trying a session at Inspiring Motion.

Absolutely horrible customer service. I've been trying to cancel my membership for weeks, and…read moredespite repeatedly trying to get in contact with the studio, I couldn't get a response until literally ONE DAY before my membership ended. When they finally contacted me, I was told I suddenly owed $160 for classes I had taken. The problem? The last time I spoke with someone, I was told the amount would be $119. So somehow, after I spent weeks trying to get this resolved and THEY failed to get back to me, the amount increased by $41. I'm not upset that I have to pay for classes I actually took -- I'm upset that the amount changed and that I was left trying to chase down the studio for weeks just to cancel my membership. If I had been given the correct information and actually received a response when I first reached out, this could have been resolved much earlier. The classes themselves may be fine, but the customer service and communication are extremely frustrating. I should not have to repeatedly chase a business down to cancel a membership, only to be contacted at the last minute and told I owe more money than I was previously quoted. Really disappointing experience and definitely not the kind of customer service I expected.

Stephanie & Andrew Chapel are the owners and Stephanie teaches several classes a week. From the first day I attended and every time I walk in the door on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 8:15am I am warmly greeted...and since my initial visit have always felt welcomed and part of the "Vessel Community." With just 20 bikes in the Studio, the experience draws you into the workout no matter which bike you are on. Stephanie's classes are amazing...great music - always a diverse playlist with moves that coordinate with the beat and work every muscle in your body - it's always HIGHLY challenging as well as extremely fun! :-) Her encouraging words before, during and after the workout not only help you focus and motivate but also provide that extra little push to be the best you can be during class. I always leave feeling a strong feeling of accomplishment and of course tired...(LOL)...but I also leave feeling grateful and excited to know I get to come back for another class! Abbey Lam is also an amazing person and awesome Instructor. She has equally excellent classes! I have attended some of her 7am classes and they are filled with energy and the same feeling of "community" and are challenging as well! She will often take song requests the night before a class and somehow amazingly put together a playlist that has a formidable and diverse mix of fast moves and slow (heavy) pushes...and still keeps the workout within 45 minutes! I highly recommend Vessel Laguna Beach to anyone looking for an amazing place to do cardio as well as strength and endurance workouts while enjoying a great local culture/vibe with wonderful people in the local Laguna Beach community.
