They do offer delivery through Deliveroo but there is a 15-20% markup from the price in the restaurant. Food: 4 stars Service/environment: 3.5 stars Value: 4 stars Overall: 4 stars Recommendations: pork chop over broken rice, fried spring roll, beef banh mi, fish cakes, Vietnamese coffee My favorite thing to order here is the porkchop rice. The porkchop is cooked with lemongrass and served over coconut rice. It is also paired with a cold egg omelette. Really delicious and filling The spring rolls here are also good and is one of my barometers for a quality Vietnamese place. The pho and Bo bun hue are pretty good but not great and I don't think the soup noodles are the highlights of this place. The banh mi here however is quite good and you won't go wrong with either the pork or beef versions. They don't serve a classic pate banh mi which is a bit disappointing.

I probably walked past the bright yellow Cafe Hue sign on King's Road a hundred times, but never had the chance to go in for a taste. But when the opportunity came, I persuaded my mom to go with me for lunch. The restaurant interior seats about 40-50 people. It's not very big, but when it's not busy, it can also feel a bit empty. This is your typical casual Vietnamese restaurant - nothing too fancy. Tables are clean and well-kept. Just remember to bring your own packet of tissues or buy one from the cashier. Weekend lunch sets start at HK$42 and can go up to about HK$60, depending on whether you add an extra cold drink. This is quite inexpensive as the Vietnamese pho sets also include a small appetizer. My mom ordered the beef pho with a Vietnamese pork rice roll (set price HK$48) and I ordered the Hue Soup Noodle (my closest guess to Bun Bo Hue) (HK$42). The beef pho was refreshingly delicious, it did not let me down. A good portion of beef with a solid broth; the beef to noodle ratio was just right. As for my Hue noodles, I didn't have too high of expectations - it was spicy, but lacked some of the strong flavor I tend to associate with BBH. BBH aside, it was still a good bowl of noodles. I'm curious to go back and try the other lemon grass soup noodles and other rice dishes -- prices are affordable, will have to see if they pass the taste test too.

Food: I had the pho with rare and medium beef and meatballs and share a banh mi. Both were great! The meat in the pho had really good flavor, and the meatballs are usually an ingredient that are just there for me, but this one was really good! Pleasantly surprised. I really liked the banh mi as well. It had some unique flavors with the mint and it seemed like wood ear mushrooms cut up in the sauce. Would I repeat? Yes, please!

BÊP, you have a new devotee to add to your quickly-growing fan club…read more I recently met someone here for a business meeting, as BÊP was suggested as a great spot with its ideal central location on Wellington and plentiful seating. And come on - who doesn't like Vietnamese food? Not me. I'm in the full-on love camp. When I lived in Chicago, neither heavy rain nor snowpocalypse conditions could keep me away from my weekly bowl of pho or bánh mì. Some weeks, my favorite Viet spot saw me two or three times. I know, I know - I'm addicted. Well I'm happy to report that BÊP more than satisfies my craving for legitimately solid Vietnamese fare. Because I couldn't commit to just one item, I decided to go with the 2-course lunch set. For under 100 HKD, you get to try two ample-sized dishes and you can choose a drink as well (for an additional nominal fee). However, I didn't enjoy the lotus root Vietnamese iced tea... it had a very strong, bitter taste that I fought to get down. I later switched to the lime soda and enjoyed that beverage much more! For my first course, I had the mixed green and herb salad with crispy pork belly. Wow - I was surprised by the ample portion of pork belly and it was quite good. Perfectly crispy and not overly fatty. This is my dream version of pork belly; wish it tasted like this every time! By the time our second courses came around, I had already put a nice dent into my appetite. However, the bun vermicelli with lemongrass chicken instantly enticed. The chunks of chicken were plentiful and aesthetically beautiful. Really! And the dish tasted even better so it wasn't just another pretty face. We also decided to split the lone dessert option on the menu - xoi ngot, grilled sticky rice wrapped in banana leaves, pandan coconut sauce and roasted peanuts - but this ended up sounding more appealing that it actually tasted. Would be nice to see a few more dessert options on the menu. Still stoked to have found a great spot to indulge in Vietnamese cuisine on the regular. I'll soon be back for a bowl of pho tai now that temps are finally dropping!

We ordered two bowls of La taste Assorted Pho (HK$70 each) with slices ,of beef, beef shank, beef brisket, and shredded chicken. The serving size is reasonable. The beef was fresh and noodles were cooked right. We ordered coffee and lemon tea. There was no refill. If there was, the server didn't bother to come and check. We also ordered a side dish (HK $30) with two kebabs from choices of lemongrass beef, chicken, and pork neck. They were tasty. The price is reasonable and serving size is big.
