If you are a KISS fan especially, there is a lot of specialized, rarer stuff here. But the rare inventory seems to come at the cost of all the inventory's pricing. The prices are 2-3 times what I've paid for the same condition pressings elsewhere- sometimes 4-5 times more. I'm not sure how it's getting these prices especially in a small town like Rochester. A bummer- if the prices were in line I would've bought a good dozen records!

Everything was well run, everyone in line was respectful and nice, I'm not sure if this is how all RSD events are, but, I'm glad that this was my experience. The store itself is HUGE, tons and tons of vinyl to choose from, ranging from vintage to brand new. Everyone working, from the owner, to the girls at the registers, were amazing! This new employee owned Bull Moose store is way less cramped than its former Sanford location, where I've shopped for music a long way back. This store had their grand opening a few months ago. Like its old location except more spread out inside, the Biddeford location offers a pretty good selection of new and used music, movies, video games, and books to choose from. The store is well organized nicely by sections with vinyl records, books, CDs, video games, DVDs, Blu-rays and miscellaneous items in between. The music is organized by genre alphabetically with a mix of new and used CDs, They also carry used cassettes ($3 each) underneath the old vinyls. The prices including the sale prices here are very competitive to the online music stores. The Bull Moose website is a good place to search and find which stores have your item or title in stock. They also do special orders and accept used music, movies, and video games for $$$ if in good condition. I spotted several used CDs from 20 years ago being sold for as low as $2.97, which I have in my personal collection and are no longer made. As a holder of the Bull Moose Music FBC (Freakin' Buyers Card), I earn points with each purchase here and receive the Bull Moose Music weekly emails with their e-sales flyers, new releases, promotions, and events (chainwide). IMO, the new Biddeford Bull Moose location is a great improvement to the older cramped location, though it's not as big as the Scarborough Superstore location.

If you are unaware Newbury Comics has far more than just comics and is quite the iconic/notable chain in the New England area. Come here for all your anime, music, movies, books, and all the nerdy wants. Not my cup of tea but they had a huge shelve of Funko Pops for example with a huge variety of characters. Didn't check prices but I suspect it's not the cheapest store but does have a factor of connivence with their large selection. They certainly have something for everyone who steps inside. I'll shop here often to pick up new releases and scavenge through the used CDs and DVDs. I've picked up a few great deals in Salem including $2.99-$3.99 used CDs and $6.99 used DVDs and cool toys such as kazoos, bobble heads, and a George W. Bush Talking Bottle Opener, "Fool me once.... shame on...shame on you..... Fool me, can't get fooled again." Newbury Comics has an Email Club which is free to join and they'll send newsletters with lists of new releases, specials, in-store events, coupons, and even cool freebies each week to your inbox. I've collected the set of Newbury Comics limited edition pint glasses, which is offered free to Email Club members with an email coupon sent throughout the year. However, several times, this store runs out of the glasses and other freebies quicker than other locations. The owner is named Jeff he's super laid back and a reminders me of a OH (original hipster- just made that up but as a gift to you I will let you use it-Your Welcome) not that new age hipsters that are taking over Brooklyn faster then that mice on a NYC subway station. This shop has all your favorite music that has inspired the vast majority if not all of the current music your hearing today. Jeff opened this store over 30 years ago and is a music genius himself. This shop is packed floor to ceiling with very cool Atracks, Vinyls, Tape Cassettes, CDs of all oldie but goodies. Music is a passion for some people and you can feel that this store is filled with not just music items but packed with Love. You can see that like this name of this shop music is in Jeff's DNA I'm not a music person. I love music but hated my grade school musical teacher so that were I being to dislike music. Deliberately turning away sales lying and saying the register was down acting bothered every time we asked to see an item we that we fully intended on buying but his personality and rudeness was so offputting. Yelled at us for having conversations at a totally normal volume. Not for nothing there was no one else in there the entire 40 minutes we were there. Should've gotten his face punched in. We come to the store every time that we are down that way, but will absolutely not be returning. Which is unfortunate because the store is cool, but the customer service was beyond unprofessional.

I came three times two stay tuned during my week-long vacation first by myself and each trip after with a new group of people just to show them what kind of place it is. Walking downtown wolfeboro is well worth it but you have to stop in here just to see what they've got and to meet the beautiful wonderful staff I strongly recommend coming here 10 out of 10 if I could do it.
