Missing Pot Lid Incident…read more I am writing to report a disappointing incident experience I had at your Valdosta, GA (1200 St. Augustine Road) location on 11/11/2025 in between the hours of 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM.  During my recent visit, I found a pot I wanted to purchase, but did not have a lid. After falling in line for about 20 minutes, at checkout, I politely asked the cashier if a discount could be given since the item is incomplete. She contacted the manager, but instead of speaking to me directly or checking the situation, I overheard the manager saying, "MAYBE THE LID WAS JUST THERE, SO NO DISCOUNT."  I found this response unprofessional and dismissive. I was not upset about getting a discount- it was the way the situation was handled. I would appreciate if the manager had taken a moment to come over or at least respectfully to the inquiry.  I hope this feedback helps improve customer service at the Valdosta store,  Thank you for your attention to this matter.

When you have kids that read a lot, this is the place to go for them to find more entertaining books and subject matters that they like. I'm a chef and I always go through the cookbooks and magazines to get new ideas for me and just love coming here with the family to load up on reading material. Although I do download audiobooks, collecting some sets is something I've always done with the kids from Harry Potter to the latest story, they have it here! Value is good, and selection is fantastic and most often have what we are coming to look for. Get your reading glasses and come out to the bookstore. I highly recommend. !!!!

They are always helpful and, if they don't have something in stock, they order it for you and you will have it in matter of days. They staff some of the office with music majors from FSU, so everyone knows a little about most major instruments. They are all over the back of the store - and while most of them are settled by genre and then alphabetically, there are some that are either not yet labeled, or just placed without intent that it would take an entire day to go through them in the hopes of coming across a treasure - and you will!

The rub, the question, is that I live up in Columbus Georgia... is the newer "Exchange" formerly known as CD Exchange (I think they are the same business) worth the somewhat long drive down from Columbus?
