It's become a tradition that my sister and I visit here at least once a year when I'm in town. We…read morebrowse , buy too many books, and get a tasty beverage. The drink wait is long but there is only one barista and the drinks are pretty involved so it's understandable. I hesitate to call some of the coffee since my very favorite is the "FRAPPE that must not be named" (LOL) and it's straight up a chocolate milkshake with a shot of espresso. Hint: if you are caffeine intolerant like me, they can make it decaf!!! Now for the books...they truly have a wonderful selection. And I'm not sure who does their displays but they are very talented and funny. I really enjoy walking around and finding new books. Of course, my absolute favorite section is the bargain area...Such good deals! My sister is part of their millionaire club so when we go to check out, I let her buy mine as well (I venmo her :)) The last two times we've gone, the cashier has reminded us about the online coupons and help us naviagate their website to save us some money. VERY nice of them. This last time my sister and I got 3 books each for a little over $40! I was also very happy to see a lot of people in this store, we should all frequent brick and mortar stores more often. This whole shopping center is nice with lots of fun stores. Easy to spend the day shopping here.

Been collecting records for 5 years, this is by far the WORST record shop I've experienced…read more Just terrible customer service all around. Purchased what was listed on their website as the sea glass green version of Kiss Land by The Weeknd. Wanted to support a small business and not pay for a reseller. When it arrived, it was not the sea glass green version. Just the standard black vinyl version. Reached out to them via email and the contact us option on the website, took 2 days for them to respond. Despite clearly telling them I would like for resolution, never happened. The person just said after me sending two follow up emails, that they were reaching out with the owner to see what they can do. Never got back to me. Again I clearly stated in my email what I would like. As there is a price difference in the sea glass green and standard versions of the vinyl. Instead of getting back to me, they just updated the listing on their website Had to go dispute with my credit card company. Dispute did not go my way because they said I "agreed to the merchants terms" which doesn't make sense because I did not get what I ordered and they don't respond promptly. After leaving a bad google review, The Owner emailed me his "personal cell number" after my initial asking to make it right and that he was unaware of my situation prior to my review. I provided him screen shots of my emails to the customer service email. He said he would process the refund right there and send me a return label to ship the vinyl back. Again the vinyl hasn't been played as I found the sea green vinyl elsewhere after not getting it from them. I had disputed the charge again, right before he reached out after it was initially denied. He Stated to reach out after the bank made their decision, as the bank has the funds on hold due to the dispute, to get the refund processed. Once I got another email last week stating that my claim was denied once again, I texted him back. Ignored. Texted him 2 days later asking if he would still honor the refund request, If not, I would attempt to sell that incorrect record I received at my local shop to recoup some of my losses. Asked for a shipping label and told him that the vinyl hasn't been played. The owner Replied back with a screen shot showing a blank text history with my number, lol Would also post those, but I am too lazy to try and blur out a number and I don't want to risk anyone's personal cell number out there on the internet. Replied back with screen shots of my text exchange with him and the emails I sent to customer service, no response now for another 48+ hours. I have my personal cell phone on DND as I work in finance assisting clients and broker dealers on the phone. So I can't be on my cell outside of lunch/breaks, but ignoring my texts after volunteering your number is insane. Go elsewhere and spend your money for someone who values your business. Zia records, park ave cds, rolling recs, graffiti records, movie-mars are all great small businesses with great customer service, accurate listings on their websites, prompt shipping, and actually caring about their customers. Shop there instead :)
