We all got a variety of tacos that were really good and well loaded up with toppings. Ended up ordering some nachos to share which were also stacked and ended up taking the rest home. Got a hair in my food and called to complain and the girl that answered me told me their is no way their could be hair because there is no woman in the back. Been there several times and went there on a Friday afternoon. The beer was cold, and I noticed the nachos looked like a very nice plate to order. We went this past Tuesday afternoon, and I ordered the nachos and a couple of beers. My beer tasted very bad and had a bad odor, then my nachos were a complete disappointment when we got them. It looked like the dishwasher might have been trying his hand at making a simple plate but had no clue what presentation was. My wife went to the back bar and got me another beer to which even the bartender in the back was disgusted with the smell of my first beer. My suggestion is to eat somewhere else, but the bar in the back is excellent for having a few drinks while talking with friends and family. read more

I'll make it short and sweet! This is the second time I've gone, the first time was a horrible experience so I decided to give it another shot. I probably could've had better food from a garbage bin. Always great and friendly customer service here. Nice open layout, with plenty of COVID seating both indoor and on their fairly large, covered patio. They have ice-cold Blue Moon here on tap in chilled schooners (18oz for $4.50) = perfection. I usually stick with their veggie soft tacos which are probably my favorite anywhere. We were looking for a place to watch the NBA playoffs and have a drink since the wait at Buffalo Wild Wings was 40 mins. We were told by the cashier in the restaurant area that they had beer and only the plain margarita machine, nothing else was working? I asked if we could sit in the bar area and order out there instead and she told me beer only at the outside bar. We ordered two frozen margs and chicken nachos. We sat out on the patio, it was so filthy- my arm and handbag got stuck to the table, we had to use paper towel to line the dirty table. We noticed people outside ordering all kinds of drinks from the outside bar, not just beer. I like to think I am patient or forgiving. People make mistakes. It happens. But this Fuzzy's in San Angelo... it's now a joke between my friends and family of "how many things will they mess up this time?" and this game has been going on for a long time. First mess up, no garlic sauce on the Tempura Fish Tacos. This no garlic sauce on the taco is damn near every occurrence. I even double check every time to see if the menu changed. Nope. They keep messing that up. So why the one star review for no garlic sauce? Nah. That's not it. I am deathly allergic to shellfish. One half of one of my tempura fish tacos was tempura shrimp. The expediter wouldn't have caught it. But my mouth did. So, panic ensues. I spit it out. Make sure I'm not being a weirdo. Nope. Sure as hell. It's shrimp. Okay, I spit it out. I should be okay. I take it to the expediter and I'm pretty ticked. I say, "I really want to like you guys but you all keep messing something up, and this time you could have put me in a hospital." I get looks from all of them like I am crazy. I tell them it's shrimp. A gentleman takes it, checks, crumples it up and asks what was I supposed to have? No, we are sorry. Or are you okay? Or that shouldn't have happened. Nope. The first question asked was "was it us or them? What's the ticket number?" I say it was YOU. She rang it in correctly. Then they leave me standing there with thumbs up my ass waiting for the correct taco. No apologies. Nothing. Handed my correct taco and frankly I didn't feel like eating it. I went out for marg Monday with my friend and had a bad experience with the manager. My friend is 24 and found out they didn't accept paper ID's so we left to go check if her new ID came in the mail. It did. We returned about 40 minutes later with her new ID and started ordering from different cashiers. Immediately the manager came over and embarrassed me in front of everyone, accusing me of trying to sneak a marg to my friend. She did not even try to understand the situation and just assumed the worst and loudly was saying I was in the wrong. I was embarrassed because of her and did not appreciate this experience at all. Her 'apology' was only saying 'sorry guys everyone's job is on the line.' I understand they try to prevent underage drinking, but she did not even attempt to understand what was going on and was so rude to us. read more

My sister has a service dog and we were threatened with having animal control come remove her because we sat out on the uncovered patio in the west Texas heat with the service dog. The dog never went into the building and remained on a harness. We didn't sit on the covered patio because there were other customers and we didn't want to make them uncomfortable or ruin their dining experience with her presence. No one bothered to ask if she was a service dog. It was just assumed that she was a "pet" and they're not a "pet friendly" business according to (who I assume was) the manager. As a supervisor, I can vouch that it's best policy to approach each situation with curiosity and questions instead of just assuming the worst and threatening patrons, especially patrons with special needs. read more

I've been to 3 different fuzzy's in Texas and this one slightly disappointed me. Apparently it was Taco Tuesday which means select tacos are $1.50, but the staff didn't mention it until after I got my food. Of course the tacos I ordered were not considered on special, which was not a huge deal, but would have been nice to know before I ordered. Also, cooks messed up my order, maybe new and in training? Tacos were good and the margarita I ordered was outstanding! The only reason this restaurant got a low rating was because of the SLOW service. My friend and I got into the restaurant at 1:00 on a Saturday and we didn't order until 35 mins later!There was one person taking orders and the line was to the door. Customers were obviously annoyed but no other staff was coming to help take orders. Then, the person stopped taking orders from the line and started taking orders from the bar... had I realized it was going to take so long I would have gone to another restaurant. Then come to find out we could have ordered our food from the bartender outside who has NO LINE, but no one inside cared to mention that. Understaffed and slow service. Trying to place an online order for delivery, the internet would not verify my coworker was indeed a human. I thought she had already placed the order and called the physical location to make sure I told her my coworker my order correctly, not knowing the order had not been already placed. When I called Misty was unable to find the order and asked who was delivering it because they do not deliver. I explained we were ordering from your website and it gives the option for delivery. I was placed on hold and Teresa picked up my call. I explained that the Fuzzy Taco website does not reroute me to a delivery service. Then my coworker told me about her inability to place the order. Our lunch hour begins at noon and we were trying to order early enough that our food would arrive by noon. The delivery time kept getting later and later since the order would not go through. I explained this to Teresa at Fuzzy's and apologized. I told her we are just going to have to order something else from somewhere else. Teresa then offered to deliver us the order herself. I thanked her and told her she did not need to do that but she said she would. She then took our order over the phone, allowed me to pay for it over the phone and was here with our order within 20 minutes!! WOW!! That is GREAT customer service!! It was 11:52 am when we received our food, before our lunch hour started at noon! Teresa was so very professional and pleasant and went way above and beyond to take care of us today! She was just as courteous, kind and professional in person. This kind of service, courtesy and professionalism deserves recognition! Thank you again Teresa, General Manager. Looking for a Plant-based option in San Angelo? Fuzzy's is a good bet! The GM David was very knowledgeable about his food and managed to hook us up with some good veggie enchiladas and a veggie taco along with some great sauce. Neither their refried beans or their black beans have any oil or animal products in them. We had the black beans and they are great. They roast their peppers before they make their salsa and it is really good. The chips have great flavor but the chips themselves could use an upgrade. If I could post this no stars I would. My husband & I went to try this for the first time. We ordered the beef fajita plate menu price $10.99-rang up as $11.99, chips and salsa menu price $2.49-rang up as $3.69, Latin potato's (as an extra side to try) menu price $2.09-rang up as $2.49, & a regular drink menu price $1.99-rang up as $2.49. (None of these prices included tax just to be clear.) When we asked about the differences in price that we were about to pay the cashier had no idea. She called a manager over & the manager pulled out a paper menu w/completely different prices from under the counter. She said, "All of our prices have gone up & they match the digital menu." We let her know they did not & we were confused. She then said, "Yes they do-at least most." So we again explained that everything we'd ordered was ringing up higher-some considerably. (We we're good knowing prices had gone up to still try them.) However, she then became extremely rude saying, "Well, these are the prices, so this is your order." We stopped in to check it out and could not stay let alone think of ordering food. There was an overwhelming smell of sewer gas or similar in the place right as we entered and was pervasive throughout.
