It did take quite a while for the products to be delivered and to have us scheduled for install. The installation took quite a while as well with the hiccups but it was worth the wait to have it done right. If you are looking for someone to come in tomorrow and get the job done this is probably not the place for you. If you are patient and are looking for quality over convenience then I would recommend Carpet City 100%.

I am happy with the work she and the installer Mark did, namely, how they handled the difficulties of matching the stair noses perfectly. The manufacturer did not want to send matching wood for the stair noses, but Kristin made sure to tell them what my expectations were and everything turned out great. Both purchases to be finalized in the next week or two. The two jobs would have been 20-25 thousand dollars total. She said that's not how they do business. Customer must purchase the floor first. Ignorance and greed at it's very best. Apparently they are making oodles of money and don't want to do anything outside of their business model. The profit from our purchase would go a long way to paying expenses when times get slow. We did go to another retailer. Purchased and arranged for counter top. The second part was the installation. The crew started with installing the counters and sinks in the bathrooms. Next they began working on the kitchen. During the installation, the installer received a phone call that his wife began ill and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. He took the time to make sure the plumbing connections could be made, so we wouldn't be left with a kitchen that couldn't be used before he left. Part 3, Codi the installation manager came to expertly put the final touches on the install. The counters look beautiful. In the end, the counters and sinks in the bathrooms and kitchen look great and most importantly the installers wife is on the mend. We would recommend Stone Innovations for your counter/remodeling needs.

Fast forward a few weeks when I was ready to place my order for their Brown Sugar Red Oak engineered hardwood series. I was about to place the order through my local store but they dropped the ball on customer service, so I called From the Forest directly. WOW!! I was so happy I did. Not only did I save about $1.50/sq ft by ordered directly from the manufacturer but I got great customer service (they work with me over the phone and over email). The product has since been installed in our whole first floor and we love it. We even placed an order for more so that we could do our basement stairs and part of our basement bar area.
