I believe the purchase price for everything was around $4500 - the price of a used car. A little more than a year later, the base no longer works so the mattress will not raise. Called Slumberland - they told us to get in touch with their 3rd party company that contracts for the protection plan - we did that more than once. For more than 6 weeks we have been waiting for service on this bed. Slumberland will not take care of it because of their contract with the 3rd party company OR if they do service it, they will charge us for it. Let's see - it is conceivable that Slumberland is paid for contracting with this company. Salespeople make a commission off the sale of the extended warranty. No one will step up to make this right. Do not purchase from this company. All I can say is thank God the bed did not break when it is in its upright position. ***Edit*** Not sure why it says San Francisco for my city - it is Wausau, WI.
