Parking is quite limited and it does get busy - but there are some spots behind the back to use. The place is on the 2nd floor - so you have to head up the stairs by the ends of the plaza. Very spacious inside with a clear section separating between the turfting and fluid bear. Staff were very nice and often gave tips to help you execute with ease. Service I did the fluid bear - which you can choose what size you want, along with figure. It'a set price - and you get to do as many different colouring setup as you like. Often times, you mix 2-3 colours and you let your creativity explore - where you pour it over top, section it out or just re-pour with new colouring. It's a pretty fun experience and perfect for those who aren't very artsy (like myself). Afterwards, they have to let it dry for at least 24-48 hours. So you do need to come back to pick it up - and it's nicely wrapped within a container and ribboning - so it can be a nice gift for display.

How it works: I supplied a design for my rug (mine is 20"x20") and picked out all the colours to match. The entire process took about 1.5 hours and another hour for the staff to trim, glue and put it altogether. It was such a fun experience to do with a date or with a group. I want to come back and make a larger size next time! Tips: Choose a simple design for your first time and try to avoid design with a lot of small details. Book an early time for larger sizes as it will take more time to tuft. We went around 5pm and finished by 6:30, went to grab dinner nearby and came back to pick up the final product. That means every day they need to sell $300 (plus plus) of product to pay the organizers. Another $200 to pay themselves to man the booth. Another x amount to pay for that first $600 of product that covered overhead of the show.... so... how much more to sell to cover all that product that paid for the booth and that paid for your day to run the booth? Mininally, you are giving away yes GIVING AWAY the first $500 of product sold at the show EVERY DAY. That is 5500 of sold product at the show before you BEGIN to make any money whatsoever. Are you okay with that? Instead just rent a chunk of space in your favourite retail store ? And because of the extraordinary overhead visitors get no price breaks. Everyone has money to burn?

There's a covered walkway that takes you directly to the doors so you won't get blasted by rain or snow. The tickets are kind of expensive since you're getting access to ashow to buy stuff. They're $18 for adults but I think the bundle with the GO tickets might get you some savings. The show is kind of organized by types of crafts. Notably there was a gallery alley for arts and a section for food. Everything else was mixed in together. You'll find things like hand carved stone and wood goods, ceramics, clothes made from leather and wool, etc. It's great to look for gifts for everyone of all ages and any sort of ailments. A few of things I picked up: - Handmade dainty silver studs that were $30 each or 3 for $70 - Wooden magnetic bookmarks that wrap around the page you were last at that came in a lot of different designs including lots of dog breeds, food related ones like boba and pho - A framed print of a map with a string heart over a featured city It's really well timed event as it's a great place to find gifts for the holidays. There were a lot of amazing things but at the end of the day, it was kind of cost prohibitive to be able to support all the different artists there.

This is a nice change from Michael's as it's not cookie cutter type of store. 2 levels with the 2nd floor mainly dealing with paints, fine arts, frames etc supplies and the first floor with fancy paper type of supplies you will definitely get inspired. I found both floors to be kind of crowded but since it wasn't busy when I went it was ok. There is also a register on the 2nd floor so you don't have to go downstairs and wait in line. The staff are really friendly and will make suggestions if you need some help or inspiration. The prices are decent but I didn't see much sales. Some of the stock is what you could find at other box stores but there are a lot of unique items that are catered to the artiste.

My friend and I wandered in on a Sunday afternoon to find a children's art class going on. The staff were highly engaged in the class but did briefly stop to greet us and to let them know if we needed anything. The space isn't huge as the majority of it seems to be dedicated to their art classes, but they have the basic supplies, plus some other fun items that are sure to catch your eye. There is a small room which looks to be a gallery of sorts, but it was hard to tell exactly what was going on with the space. Walking in - I instantly wished I had brought an extra duffle bag. Between the aisles of pillows, the kitchen/dining section, and the picture frames - I was in heaven. Fortunately for Hubs they also have tons of furniture, so he was able to find a {super cute} chair up front to relax in while I wandered. B/c my luggage could not accommodate all that I had seen I settled on a really beautiful picture frame to commemorate our visit to Toronto. We made our own pieces took them home to dry to 6-8 week then came back to paint our pieces. Be sure to check their website beforehand because they usually have some type of promotional going on. For the matcha bowl it was only $25 per person for 1 lb of clay and the instructor takes you through how to make it. For the painting we only paid $10 per piece and they also glaze and fire for you so you can actually use your pieces. The staff is always very kind and accommodating. Usually their classes and painting is one hour but they let us stay longer with any additional charges. Even if you are a beginner like me and mess up they will help you fix your pieces so don't worry. Definitely very worth it! Recommended coming if you're looking for an artsy activity. Art ventures has multiple location this is the Bay and Dundas location. They offer different pottery class from beginner class with instructors to advance ones. You can always paint your own pottery that you make. They also have already made pottery if you just want to paint a piece. You do have to book before going so make sure you book online or over the phone.

They have plants - bamboo, money trees, jade plants, and more. They also have artificial flowers, floral arrangements, figurines, tons of costume jewellery, guitars, and much more. I ended up with a bamboo arrangement and a money tree, both for gifts. The plants were very healthy. Parking can be a bit challenging, with only one way in/out. Of course, winter conditions and snow/ice didn't help. Prices were more than reasonable. The owner, Yinly, was very friendly and helpful. Check out this place!
