As I looked around and we came to the register to check out. I opened what looked to be a cooler to get a case out and I asked if he knew his cooler wasn't working. He was very smart with me and had a nasty attitude, and said "I never said that it was"....at that point I told the other two people (one which happens to be my son) I was with that I no longer wanted anything. He asked for all of our ID's as they were making a purchase and I refused to give him mine as I no longer felt comfortable interacting with this man after he was extremely rude for no reason and wanting to be argumentative. He demanded again for all of our ID's and I told them no let's go. As I was walking out of the door, my son was being nice and offering to put their items back, he proceeds to call me a B$@! to my son after I had already walked out!!! What a crazy miserable man. Do not recommend this place, do not give this evil owner any business. Go to Bypass next to Baskin n Robbin's or somewhere else other than that ragged overcrowded liquor store. He is evil and will literally try and put you in a bad mood for no reason other than the fact that he has to be stuck in a liquor store all day/night! They have a great selection of IPA's, Stouts, Porters, Bocks, etc., but unfortunately they didn't have the Lindeman's Belgian Peche Lambic I was looking for. The gentleman working the register asked me if I had found what I was looking for and I politely complimented him on his current stock of Chimay, and other great beers, but told him that unfortunately, I didn't see what I was looking for. He asked me what I wanted I told him and he said he'd try to get it in for me. Two days later, I received a call saying that on of the two cases of beer I had ordered had come in. The amazing thing is I have tried to order from several beer specialty shops and none could get what I wanted in, but the Grog Shoppe did it in Two days. It was worth the 45 minute drive back to Columbia to pick it up and enjoy my beer -- Cheers!

I did find a Michael David Earthquake Zin from Lodi, California, which I love, but nothing else really jumped out at me. I bought 3 bottles. I also checked out their tequila stock and they had a couple of decent additive free tequilas, but mostly the over priced celebrity garbage. However, they did have the Santo Fino, which is a celebrity Tequila, but better than most of the others and it is additive free. Anyway, overall they have what most people will want when shopping for wine and spirits, but not really what I would call a specialty liquor or wine shop with things you can't find anywhere else.
