This is my puppy's first bath and trim (he was about 5 months old). Him being a shih Tzu- I intend to keep his fur long as I do not like the "teddy bear short cut look". Scheduling: Appt scheduling was very simple. Staff was very nice. Appearance: Upon arriving, It can be a little confusing as the sign is not lit up. It's a little past the opening where the Home Store is so be aware to keep going! Inside, it smelled like a old dogs inn. Just like a dog. Didn't feel the clean spa- like feeling I thought I would get. Staff: The staff were not masked, but still nice. I just want to say Lindsay was sooo sweet! The sweetest. Explained things in good detail and really nice. Experience: I asked them to let me know if there were any issues as he is a very scary pup. She told me she would try to save some of his fur as there was a mention it was matted pretty bad. He was shaved balled. My mom picked him up as I was at another appt and she said they kept apologizing and saying "he's alright". He wound up having really bad diarrhea for a few days and when I took him to the vet, they mentioned it was bacteria. It could have came from anywhere but he's not around any other dogs, and thought it was funny he got it right after coming home. I'm thinking because the place was not as clean as I'd hope. They were also a little pricey. The rate was higher than my neighbors who has a Yorkie. In addition, with the extra vet bill,this grooming costs me over $140 so I will mostlikely be searching for a new one. Just as a note, He smelled really good and appeared to be okay but I will not likely take him back.

Unfortunately there was a mixup and she scheduled me for a day when they are closed, she apologized profusely and gave me a discount on the grooming service! Very attentive and genuinely wanted to make up for her mistake. Shampoochies did a great job grooming my little pup, she generally doesn't like being groomed so I appreciate that they gave her special attention. They also don't force the dogs to be blow dried if they don't like to be, and will wait for them to air dry if needed. Lastly, when we got home she had these adorable little bows on. :) Give them a try if you're looking for a groomer!

Strangers regularly comment on how wonderful his coat feels and how good he smells. This is even 3 days after he's been groomed and has been playing hard for those days. When I wanted to bring him weekly, they said he didn't need it - so no false up-selling which I appreciate. They now have a day play offering with great prices. While I've transition to more work from home, so he doesn't need to go to day play as often, I wouldn't hesitate to send him there if he needed to burn off some extra energy or needed the interaction of other dogs. She was doused in puppy perfume, no bath, no nails and a gland cleaning that I never asked for but was still told really wasn't much (aka they didn't do it) The original bill was $100 and I tipped 20% before seeing her. She still had tangled hair and my family on thanksgiving suggested I get her groomed. When I contacted the shop I never asked for my money back, but was harassed by manager/owner through Facebook messenger until 2am. I finally suggested that she put what I paid towards the person that suggested them and I was told to never come back and they had me on camera?!!

Lawrenceville pet owners -- PLEASE READ before boarding at PetSuites Lawrenceville…read more My puppy was seriously hurt while staying there. I got a TEXT at 7:15pm during the boarding stay telling me my puppy had a small gash near her nose. The facility stated they would be keeping a close eye on her and if I wanted, they could take her to the vet the next morning. I informed PetSuites to take her to the vet since the incident occurred while in their care. The vet called me to let me know my puppy would need surgery which required 12 stitches to close (see picture of injury below). After not hearing from PetSuites Lawrenceville, I went to the facility to talk to them and to request an incident report. PetSuites Lawrenceville admitted the potty run area had fencing/locks with bolts that stick out on the inside of the potty run and that they were working on sourcing rubber caps for the area to prevent anything like what happened to my puppy occurring in the future. I sent PetSuites of America, the registered agent, a notice of demand to cover the costs of surgery and medication. After the demand, I filed a small claims complaint which was served to their corporate office and they also failed to respond. The most heartbreaking part is that PetSuites of America failed to satisfy my claim and never asked how my puppy was doing after her surgery. I was eventually awarded judgment against them by the magistrate court. I trusted PetSuites Lawrenceville with my family member and they let me down in the worst way. This facility is entrusted with the safety of your animals. They failed mine -- and then refused to own it. I don't want this to happen to anyone else's pet. Please share this so other pet owners in the Lawrenceville area can make an informed decision before leaving their animals at PetSuites Lawrenceville facility.
