You might wonder why only 3 stars? -- I feel like if i gave it a 5, it'll be unfair to my sushi spots in California or New York or Asia that are definitely on another level of frickkkken sushi freshness. Sushi Raku's cuts or sashimi are insane. They definitely don't get stingy with that. Their Salmon sashimi was bomb. They also had Toro when I came for my birthday! (And cheaper in price compared to Bay Area) They also had Uni! Tuna- was eh. We got a few pieces that were frozen , which they immediately replaced. Service was impeccable and quick. This place will def be my go-to sushi spot here in Saskatoon.

They're an average AYCE place when it comes to the food and service. Nothing "wows" me, but it's pretty cheap for the assortment that you get. It's around $21 at the moment for dinner for adults, which is a great deal when there's a lot of options you can choose from. The sushi and sashimi selections are basic, but the fish could definitely be fresher. Given it is in the middle of Saskatchewan, I never complain. Sushi is sushi! I recommend taking a picture of the sheet that you fill out in order to make sure you get ALL your items. They tend to skimp out and not give you the actual amount you ordered, especially on tempura. As I mentioned earlier, the service is also pretty average for any ayce sushi restaurant. The service isn't great, most of the time I find they're pretty rude, but that's usually how it is in most AYCE restaurants. If they were to work on the service aspect, I believe this restaurant would be frequented much more.

But what sadist puts in booths for 6 in a buffet restaurant? Think about it: the first two people in the booth are trapped behind four others. And not surprisingly, they are also the first to finish and have to wait to get out, or disturb the others. Booths are fine for table service, but for buffets they are ludicrous. I've eaten at buffets in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Vancouver, Toronto and numerous other places. Best this is not.
