This is a cute little spa in downtown Invermere. You can tell, this place is geared towards the visitors that come in from Calgary... You know, the trophy wives who look after the vacation property!? Haha I'm kidding. It was very clean and the staff was really friendly. It was just a tad too "high end - wanna be" for a small spa in a small town. I doubt I'll be back. read more

What. AN. Awesome. SPA! My husband and I booked the ROMANCE GETAWAY package for the Sunday before Valentine's Day. Boy did we feel special and welcomed at FUSION! The package included 1.5 hour massages and a CHOCOLATE MUD BATH! We arrived and were greeted by a very friendly woman in the reception area right away. She welcomed us by name and got us into our shoes. The main foyer is packed with gorgeous nail polishes and make up. Then there are two doors leading to the mysterious spa, which when opened welcome you to a beautiful hallway with cozy rooms and changing areas. The lounge area was dazzled up for VDAY and had delicious tea and water. We changed into some robes and were soon showed to our romantic mud bath. We spent 30 minutes in a bath with candles, chocolates and complete peace and quiet. After the bath we were brought into our couples massage room where we were welcomed by two very sweet and very professional MTs. Both of us agreed they were the best massages we've ever had. After it was over, our massage therapists thanked us numerous times. They seemed genuniely happy to be working there and seemed to love what they were doing. A lot of the times MTs seem exhausted and you can feel like cattle going in one after the other. But these two made us feel very at home. Upon paying and leaving we spent some time again chatting with the receptionist where she recommended a nice place for dinner, and also as a thank you gave us a great bottle of wine! I'm sure it was just because it was Valentine's Day, and I imagine it isn't always like that, but it was just a nice, simple way for the owners to say thank you to their customers. We were very happy! You don't see that too often, definitely made us feel special. We were thanked numerous times for coming to their beautiful spa, even though it was us who were the grateful ones! We will definitely be makin this an Inveremere tradition on romantic getaways! read more

This review is for the Copper Point location. I had an awesome gel pedicure and facial here today. Their staff are great, and they use organic skincare products (Eminence). They loaded me up with samples and sent me off to enjoy the sunny afternoon. I loved it so much I'm going back for a massage tomorrow! read more

NOT AS ADVERTISED! We pre-booked a group of 7 for various spa treatments (mostly mani/pedi) For a $90 pedicure I would have expected a lot more pampering and time spent. I believe the menu said a 60 minute pedicure and it was maybe 40 minutes top. If i just wanted some lotion and toe nail polish put on I would have done my own. All of the girls who had manicure and pedicures had complaints - not enough coats, no one got their feet scraped, the nail polish started to chip by the next day, the polish wasn't even smooth on some of the nails, I dint think a top coat was applied to anyone. The work was sloppy and no where near spa standards - for $35 we could get a better pedicure at the local nail salon. Out group took the time to find a spa that would accommodate our group and we worked out a detailed list of what each girl wanted. The spa provided a schedule for each of us but they did not provide what was advertised in the brochure. They also offered us a group discount of 15% but they didn't provide it when it was time to pay. The girls who got massages and wraps had no complaints but we will never recommend anyone go to fusion for any nail services. They should stick to what they know and provide what is advertised on their website read more

My partner and I had a wonderful time at Fusion! We had the "Just the two of us" package, which was very relaxing and definitely a good value compared to some other couples spa packages that are out there. We had Jennifer and Stacey as our massage therapists and they were both wonderful. They both paid attention to our individual needs and we were impressed with their skill, as we have had poor experiences with massage before. The spa itself was clean, quiet, and relaxing. It felt very luxurious, and I would compare it to some of the higher end spas we have visited in Calgary. I would definitely recommend visiting for some guaranteed R&R! read more

I had Microdermabrasion with Kristi at the downtown Invermere location, and it was a very thorough and informative treatment. Using a special light, she looked at my skin and examined its health. Then I had the dermabrasion, followed by a few face masks and treatments. I could feel the difference immediately. I purchased the products she recommended and I feel great about my skin's appearance more than I ever have - even after years of thinking I knew my skin and what I was doing as far as which products to use. Kristi and the girls at the front desk were pleasant, friendly and helpful at teaching me about my skin needs and why I was experiencing break-outs, uneven skin tone, and an overall dull appearance. I was referred here by the hotel/resort I was staying at nearby last week. I had a sore back and was trying to play golf so I needed a massage. I called up late Friday and made an appointment for when they opened Saturday at 10am. The check-in was easy and I was on the table promptly with Haley working on me. She was very sweet, highly professional, and did a great job on my back and other parts. The place is very Zen like with all the candles and music so the whole experience was relaxing and enjoyable. Friendly front desk staff also. I would recommend this place and the prices are reasonable. read more

Really disappointing experience at Fusion's Copperpoint Resort location. Do not try the sauna/hydrotherapy steam shower treatment - neither treatment was hot, the steam shower didn't steam and if you wanted to try a different function on the shower you'd have to endure 5 seconds of cold spray. Brutal. Worst of all, I booked a massage with what I thought was an RMT - and was NOT instructed otherwise when booking or before starting the treatment that I wouldn't be given a receipt to submit to insurance. Afterward when I was told, the receptionist said it wasn't their responsibility if insurance won't cover it (which DUH... but I'd like my receipt please) and that I should have been told upon booking that I was not getting an RMT. Despite not being told by the Spa, she insisted that I pay and I'd have to talk to the manager when I was back in. I followed up twice with the manager who responded that she'd "check her notes from my booking call" to determine what I was told. It took 3 days but Fusion did end up refunding my massage after speaking again with the manager. I appreciate that but do feel like we could have done without the run around and the employees at the desk need to handle things in real time rather than having customers leaving frustrated and annoyed about what they just paid for. read more

Be careful when you book!! I called around Invermere and area looking for a registered massage therapist that would be covered with my Sunlife benefit plan in Alberta. Fusion indicated they had one available. It wasn't until I submitted my receipt that I discovered this was not the case. When I called and asked to speak with the manager, I was given to the esthetician, Corri, who indicated there was nothing that they could do. Interestingly, as I read other reviews for this spa, I see that this has happened before. Feel very mislead! read more

This is a very nice and clean spa. They do an excellent job with pregnancy massages. I was so relaxed when I had my massage done.

I went for a spa day with my friend who was visiting from the UK. I was hoping for a lovely and relaxing experience but I got the complete opposite. The treatments we had booked included a 1 hr massage and a 30 min facial. The massage was only 45 mins and the facial only 20 mins. A total of 25 mins cut off of the services. When I went to pay at the front desk I explained the situation to the receptionist and she was extremely rude. She rolled her eyes at me and stated that we would pay the full amount for the services as we were late. Keeping in mind we were only 5 mins late. She stated, "just because you were late doesnt mean they get paid less and run behind." Then she proceeded to lie and tried to say that she spoke to me prior to the appointment and said to be early. The wording on the website and from staff is misleading. A 1 hour massage is STILL only 45 mins as you will be filling out paperwork and and the therapists take time to set up. I was 5 mins late and they STILL werent ready. Just do yourself a favour and do not go here. Rude staff and service. It felt rushed and was totally overpriced. I have never had such distasteful customer service in Canada and was totally dissappointed that my UK friend had to experience this. Sometimes it's better to bite your tongue and treat the customer with respect when they are paying you nearly $200 each. read more
