Only thing I would change next time is to ask for a treatment room NOT over the salon, as you can constantly hear the blow dryers and the laughing and chatter, I had to focus on the music vs the distractions from downstairs. At the end I decided to have my brows done and that was a mistake, she was very rough and tough on my eyes, won't book that again. BUT what we went for was the facials and massages and we both were completely happy with our gals and would ask to be booked with them again next time.

They called me 15 minutes before my appointment asking if I can push it back 20-30 minutes, I informed them I had to work directly after and wasn't sure if I was going to have time, when I arrived the esthetician was still late for an appointment that, so I beat her there, and had to wait for her to set up, we didn't start until 1042, pretty unacceptable. This was the response I got. " Im wondering if with all your experience, you've not had a dry pedicure? There are a few places in calgary that do dry services which is where I based my services from. (Due to they "didn't update there website yet" When the owner/manager found out we were from Calgary, the prices changed and we were spoken to very rudely. My 2 girlfriends and I booked a appointment for 2 gel pedicures and 1 polish manicure at noon, it took 1.5 hrs for 2 gel pedicures and then by the time it would be my turn for my manicure (after the pedicures were done) it would take another hour. I tried to cancel my appointment due to the fact that we had plans and couldn't be at the salon for 3 hours. I was rudely told that I would have to pay 90% cancellation fee, which I understand the cancellation policy although, there was a lineup of other ladies waiting for there nail appointments so it wasn't a huge inconvenience to the business. As I left to take a phone call while my girlfriends were getting there pedicures and I was waiting for my manicure appointment. the owner spoke very rudely about me trying to cancel my appointment when I was out of the room. The staff at La Petite were very friendly and tried to be accommodating although the manger/owner was a nightmare to deal with. I will never recommend going to Lapetite to any Calgarians coming to Invermere/fairmont to vacation.

I had…read morewanted a couple's massage so I had to find somewhere new and it was one of the places that popped up in my searches with the added bonus that it was in canmore which could make a nice day trip. I decided to go for it as the prices aren't too bad and the good reviews were still good. the spa is in a strip mall and the ambiance is very similar to some of the other nicer strip mall spas I've been ton. Not the nicest spa around but also not the price structure of one of those spas. The staff was nice, we got early and they got us in early to boot. The couple's room is not what I pictured from TV (I've never had one before) but it was just two treatment rooms with the curtain opened. so we were only kind of in the same room. I do imagine the rooms is strange when you aren't in a couple's massage as there is just a curtain between you and someone else unless i'm missing something else about the room to add privacy. The massage was very eclectic - there was a mix of regular massages, use of hot rocks at times and some shiatsu. A mixture that was quite nice and yet I've never had in combo before. Over all we quite enjoyed our time there and I might have made my spa newbie fiance a bit more high maintenance... heh.
