I do imagine the rooms is strange when you aren't in a couple's massage as there is just a curtain between you and someone else unless i'm missing something else about the room to add privacy. The massage was very eclectic - there was a mix of regular massages, use of hot rocks at times and some shiatsu. A mixture that was quite nice and yet I've never had in combo before. When I first walked in I was welcomed by the owner and was told Zach would be my stylist. Zach is still an apprentice so I was surprised to pay the full rate of $28.50 (plus tip). Regardless, Zach did a great job and my cut looks great. He even rinsed my hair afterward. Overall I am pleased by the cut. I was hoping for more service as a competing Aveda salon includes a scalp massage and tea prior to a cut and they charge pretty much the same price for a men's cut. In addition the salon is not listed on any social media so this will be their first review. Salon F/X is a great place for a local trim and if needed I may visit again.
