When I first walked in I was welcomed by the owner and was told Zach would be my stylist. Zach is still an apprentice so I was surprised to pay the full rate of $28.50 (plus tip). Regardless, Zach did a great job and my cut looks great. He even rinsed my hair afterward. Overall I am pleased by the cut. I was hoping for more service as a competing Aveda salon includes a scalp massage and tea prior to a cut and they charge pretty much the same price for a men's cut. In addition the salon is not listed on any social media so this will be their first review. Salon F/X is a great place for a local trim and if needed I may visit again.

Mostly seeing Cassidy, but all the stylists I've tried have been top-notch. Cassidy has hooked me up with some excellent colours and helped me transition from short hair to long hair, keeping me looking good along the way. I've also lucked out seeing everything from live music to magicians to people making a music video when I've gone.
