At first glance, the place is very simple. The décor isn't fancy, and the seating is pretty basic. But honestly, once the food arrives, you don't care what kind of chair you're sitting on. You're too busy enjoying the food. The food is the star of the show, and it always has been. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, the protein servings are good, and the service has always been good whenever we visited. Everything tasted homemade and full of flavor. After my dad passed away, we decided to go there in his honor because it was one of his favorite places. The moment we walked through the door, my mom started crying. She and my dad had come there so many times over the years that being there without him was just too much for her. We sat down, ordered our food, and tried our best, but my mom was a mess. In the end, we took the food to go because she couldn't stay. Since then, we've tried a few times. We would drive there, park the car, look at each other, and then leave without going in. It's hard to explain unless you've lost someone you love. Sometimes a restaurant becomes part of your family's story, and every corner holds a memory. I miss the food. I miss the atmosphere. But most of all, I miss the memories of sitting there with my dad. Even as I'm writing this review, my heart hurts a little. That's not because of the restaurant it's because this place was such a happy part of our lives.
