Never did we have to scramble to find a last-minute walker or worry about putting our pup in the hands of a complete stranger. They truly treat your pets like family! It's easy to talk about the great service Snagglefoot provides when things go well. Where they really set themselves apart, however, is when things go wrong, as they did on our recent weekend away. One of our dogs got desperately sick with a gastrointestinal issue, and I cannot say enough positive things about how Liz, John, and Denise (that day's sitter) handled the situation. It was truly above and beyond! When the dog sitter calls and you're 6 hours away, it's an uneasy feeling. But Liz has such a kindness about her - and a sense of humor! She puts your worries at ease, demonstrates a willingness to help, and does so with patience and concern for your pet. We are so thankful for Denise who first found the disaster, cleaned the initial mess, calmed the sick and stressed-out dog, while still managing to take good care of the other two. We are also incredibly thankful for Liz and John, who arrived soon after to assess the situation. When she called me, Liz immediately offered to take the sick dog to the vet (at 4pm on a Friday). She then administered the first round of medications and rearranged her Snagglefoot schedule so she could stay overnight at our home. It meant so much to us that she'd be available if the dog continued to be sick overnight and to administer the next round of meds in the morning. It also meant a lot that Liz and John cleaned around the house *again* prior to our arriving back home the following night. I whole-heartedly recommend Snagglefoot for your pet-sitting needs! On any given normal visit, you will sense how much they love getting to know your animals. And on those rare occasions when things don't go as planned, you can take comfort in knowing that Liz and John will care for your pets as if they were their own.

But, having moved recently, we didn't really have that option. With a short trip this past week, we needed an answer, and quickly. Enter Snagglefoot Dog Walks & Pet Care. They met with us on a Sunday and talked about our cat and dog. We went through a Q&A worksheet about their habits, daily routine, etc. It was really in-depth. And by the end of things, we felt very comfortable leaving our pets in their hands. Once we were out of the area, we got text/picture updates of each animal every day. And we had details descriptions of each day when we returned. AND, they also did things like getting the mail, bringing in garbage cans and the like for free. Charlie Blu, the Aussie, here telling you about my recent experience at Tails are Wagging…read more Even though Dad takes me everywhere, sometimes he needs to board me when he leaves town for my own sake, so this doggie camp was my first choice. It has a nice time range of drop off and pick up times which helps with Dad's schedule and ensures that I get to come home without delay. I like that we get an opportunity to play outside 90 minutes at a time, 3 times a day. The outdoor area is 1/2 covered and 1/2 in the sun, which gives me options in various weather conditions. Since I'm just a year old and under 40 lbs, the helpers also put me in the small doogie group with others my size, so we can play together. There is a separate area to go potty and plenty of time set aside to rest. The owner is friendly and answered questions quickly. After an interview, updated shots, and a 3 hour daycare trial , it was determined that I could come back here for an overnight stay. The 4'x6' kennels are big enough to get a good night sleep. It's a good thing Dad remembered the dog mat because the floors are concrete and would have been too cold for me. Glad we found this place because next to sticking to Dad and Mum like velcro, this boarding facility is a good fit when they can't be with me.
