I got my dog groomed for the first time today and I was running late to pick him up due to work and called them to let them know I was coming late. The cashier on the phone knew who my dog was by name...was given the biggest bags of treats from the manager *but asked first if it was okay and I told them he was allergic to chicken. For a corporate chain, I was blown away. I used to get my dog groomed by a mobile groomer that was great and I trusted her very much. But, I think this is our new place. Amber in the grooming department is a special soul. Patient, passionate and just all around a good person. Thank you to all of you there at Petco for taking care of us!! See you soon!!

Top Dog Barkery Review…read more This adorably decorated business in the heart of Main St HB, just a few paw steps away from the HB Pier is a very fun little shop, and the perfect spot to to SPOIL your fur baby!!! They have just about anything and everything you could possibly want: Clothing items (for both you AND your pup), hats, bandannas, collars, and leashes, they also have stickers, signs, coffee mugs, keychains, can cozies, cards and more! Additionally, they have a variety of toys and prepackaged treats and chews as well. But, their BEST feature is DEFINITELY their Barkery. Their menu is so unbelievably creative! Beyond just the standard birthday cakes and cupcakes and cookies that you can find at almost any dog bakery, Top Dog Barkery has creative cookies that rotate themes (ones decorated to look like tacos or hot dogs, sports balls like basketballs or baseballs, or even other animals like piggies, cows, chickens, etc). They have unique menu items such as dog cannolis, scones, shepherd pup pies, surprise gender reveal dog cupcakes all in a variety of sizes and flavors including options to suit almost any special dietary needs such as wheat, grain, gluten, dairy, free, etc. I believe they will custom make almost anything they can for you and the prices are well worth the quality that you get. They use high end, human grade ingredients, ensuring your pup gets only the finest made culinary creations possible. Our pup Maggie absolutely loved her happy birthday doggie cookie that we recently treated her to for her sixth birthday! In addition to being a retail store AND a dog bakery they are also a grooming salon offering both professional grooming and self-wash options for your doggie when they get dirty! Step your paws into this furry wonderland and you'll find that whether you have 2 legs or 4 (or 3) this is a delightful store to shop!
