They are always there when I need to board, and relieve my anxiety so I can enjoy my vacations. Thank you Waxhaw AH! You can go inside now too since construction is basically finished! Other vets constantly had years ago excuses about not being their patient so can't help. Thank you so much WAH.

I would give this place a 5 star review before Dr. Burris retired, and Dr. Borrell left. At first, it was the pandemic and totally understandable, but it still happening today I was tired of having to call and not be able to go in! Apparently it's been under Cleaning repair for years. I took my baby back because we did not know where Dr. Borrell went. From what I'm finding out, we saw the owner. My dog was kind of terrified of her. To be fair, she's a bit of a scaredy-cat but usually warms up after a minute but did not unfortunately.. Thank heaven, we found Dr. Borrell!! If you are looking for her, she's at Sun Valley Animal Hospital! The place is clean. You can actually go inside the building and be with your animal plus the People are fantastic! From the concierge staff to the techs and the doctors that I've seen so far! they're currently under remodel because they need more rooms. They're that busy I hope this helps anybody looking for a vet for their baby or Dr B!!!

After picking up our four legged family member we communicated that we were not pleased with the cut and the multiple requested services that were either forgotten and/or not completed fully and boy did things go downhill from there. It is a sign of poor customer service and lack of compassion and empathy in my opinion when you bring an issue about the service to someone's attention and are met with excuses and invalidating statements such as "All my customers love me", "I have never had a complaint", "You can ask anyone and they all have great things to say about me", "I am the most (fill in the blank) person you will ever meet", "I feel like you are the type of person who just complains about everything" and "I have been doing this for 20 years, so I know what I am doing", as these statements reek of defensiveness and rationalization, rather than simply acknowledging the issues, apologizing and vowing to do better moving forward. The former results in a negative experience and a lost customer, while the latter results in a second chance. Unfortunately this place lacks not only basic customer service skills, but comes off with a condescending and dismissive attitude that I would not want myself nor my pet to be around, because if that is how someone comes off in my presence, I don't want to imagine how that might act when I am not around, especially when their job is supposed to involve compassion, understanding and patience. Yes, we should support small businesses, and yes times are tough due to Covid, but no that does not mean we should settle for "less than" as basic manners don't get a pass just because of the times, as they should be a value that we carry with us at all times, because adversity doesn't just test character, it reveals it.

5 Stars - Highly Recommend! I can't say enough good things…read moreabout Hounds Town in Indian Trail! From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. It's clear they truly love what they do and care deeply about every dog that comes through their doors. They took the time to get to know my dog's personality and needs, and I felt completely at ease leaving him in their hands. Their professionalism shines through in everything--from how they communicate with pet parents to how well they manage the dogs. It's such a relief knowing he's in a place where he's not only safe but having a great time too. If you're looking for a doggy daycare or boarding facility that's clean, caring, and run by true dog lovers, this is it!

At first, I wasn't sure what to think given the sort of nondescript building and area it sits on but, I needed a place for my girls to stay for 9 days while we went away on vacation and decided to give them a try. I had seen a few negative reviews but, the majority were positive so, one shot is what I figured they deserved. Typically, when my girls come home from a long kennel stay, they look miserable. They typically look like they haven't eaten much and I swear they look at me like I'm a horrible fur mom for leaving them wherever they went. That was totally not the case here. In fact, when the door was opened to let them into the lobby where my son and I were standing to pick them up, they ran to the two employees in the room instead. Not only did they look happy and healthy but, they smelled great (no I didn't request a bath) and all of their bedding had been washed! It was obvious they had eaten well and were happy. When we got home, rather than immediately crashing, they even played a bit and stayed awake for a good bit of time. I will definitely be using Hounds Town in the future for not only kennel needs, but for daycare this summer!
