BAD QUALITY ! DO NOT COME HERE ! We recently bought a bed for $2400. The guy they sent to set it up, told me he needs to Reinforce it, that for me to just call his boss and say he'll do it because it's obviously has a 2x1/2 inch. I called the business and the guy yelled at me and said it's "expensive" to reinforce it. I told him I didn't care but he still went off and started mumbling. They played me. As the beams to keep the bed up and reinforced for sitting above ground. The bed was bought 3 weeks ago, it is now broken. The frame. We got such a great deal! For $700, we got a mattress, bed frame, a mirror, two night stands and a dresser...that's a freaking deal!! I'm totally referring this spot to all my friends n families. Love, love, love this place! I was driving by and saw a sale banner so I stopped by. I was looking for a tempurpedic mattress but wasn't looking to drop $2000+ for it. Don was very helpful in educating me on the mattresses. I ended up picking up a cal king memory foam mattress, bed frame, night stands, and drawers. All were matching and delivered within a week! They definitely work with you if you have a budget and the prices are SIGNIFICANTLY lower than other places I went to. The quality of the furniture is great and sturdy u like furniture I have bought from places like IKEA that fall apart after 2 months. The thing I like about the place is that I didn't feel pressured to buy anything and the fact that Don did not mind explaining things to me, and the fact that I was there for nearly 3 hours trying to decide what to get. BEWARE!!! This store is selling refurbished mattresses as new!!! They directly lied to my husband and me swearing all the mattresses they sell are new. We first asked when we noticed the display models have the red/yellow tags on them indicating they are made with used materials and "sanitized". They promised us that it was only the display models and that the ones you buy are new. THEY LIED!!! We went and inspected the exact mattress (and another of the same model) that we were supposed to get. The one they intended for us to have had a hole in the plastic cover right above the tag and the red remnants of the tag indicating used materials. Not only are they LYING about the mattresses being new, they are removing the tags that indicate that they are used which is ILLEGAL!!! There were red/yellow used/"sanitized" tags littering the back room's floor, which means they are ripping off the tags and deceiving people on a regular basis and not just this one time. Be sure to check the tags of any mattresses you get here. There should be a white one and there should not be red/yellow tags (or remnants of a ripped of tag in our case) if a mattress is new. This is an AWFUL BUSINESS!!! If they had been upfront about the refurbishing/sanitizing process used on their mattresses that allow them to have such low prices, we may have even considered getting one, but NO ONE should be DECEIVED into buying a used mattress when they swear they are new!!! read more

I was a resident of West Anaheim for 14 years, and was involved with the majority of bussinesses in the area. As I was moving out, a friend offered to buy a couch set, as house warming gift. Excited, I went too Furniture Universe, but didnt see anything that caught my eye. Don the owner, stated to me that he had a catalog I could look through. Found a nice looking set in the catalog for $499.99. I liked the black color, but he stated he needed to order and it would take a week or two. For my troubles he was going to send the same set in brown (my worste color,) as temporary. After I got the temporary couch I realized what a peice of junk it was. You could pick up the whole couch with one hand. I am almost 6' feet tall. My legs hung off the end. When I went back into the store too speak with Don about it, he said sure no problem and showed me a different set, much sturdier. He was selling this set for the same $499.99. I stated that I only needed to couch portion , not the love seat. He said he wanted $100.00 more. I asked for what he said because I changed my mind. There was nothing about a "change mind," clause in the paperwork. I explained this wasnt fair but please order. He agreed. A year later NO COUCH! read more
