Called for service on our 4 year old leather couches to find out the extended warranty was only for stains not faded spots on our leather couches. The brown color is turning gray in places and we are retired couple with little company so don't see it as being wear. Extended warranty on just stains don't make a lot of sense. I am revising my original review as Furniture Row has gone out of their way to make it right for my household. The original delivery date of my sofa got pushed back by several weeks which did not work for us. However, In the end, we were very satisfied with the delivery and the sofa. I will use them again in the future, with a better understanding of how the delivery process works. Great place and offers items not super common in area! I had been searching the Metroplex for a large/rustic dining table for 4-5 months, finding nothing I fell in love with vs cost. Why drop 3-4K if I don't love it? Finally found one online that was what I had in mind for the space, but out of state of course *sigh* It had good reviews, but not many reviews yet, a bit risky to buy before sitting at it first. Luckily I'm a patient person :) Wrote the brand/style down and each week, Google and I searched Texas. After several months of searching, the same brand/style at a local store in Grapevine appeared. An almost major YAY! moment until I saw the price tag. Ugh. More than my budget but six months had passed in new house and no dining table. Needed to adjust priorities. Hubs was onboard with adjustments and we planned to see and buy it that weekend - if it was our awesome. But one night on a whim I thought, WTH? Plugged the brand/style in Google one more time, hit search and ta-da!!! It came up on Furniture Row's website in Sherman - on sale for November - even less than out of state sites. But wait, there's more! :) Called and spoke to Blake, yes, they have one in store, come on down. YAY! So a few days later hubs and I took a road trip to Sherman, sat at the table, and signed the deal. Even the delivery fee from Sherman to Hurst was reasonable! I wanted to snoopy dance :) In just a few weeks the wrought iron base, distressed wood top, counter-height table and eight chairs would finally fill our empty dining room! Now getting it from the manufacturer was a different story, it was delayed but it being holidays and having worked with a very pleasant salesman at FR, I was still filled with happy anticipation - for nearly two more months. But I'm patient! Delivery day arrived and they unpacked the tabletop *sob* it had a deep scratch and 4 of 8 chairs had very loose bolts (poor assembly / poor transfer of tabletop from manufacture or delivery truck, not sure?). Very disappointing that table top had to be replaced, but also that local assembly must have had a bad day. Second delivery. Store sent floor display top as replacement the following week (today) and said it was like new. OK, we'll give it a shot. If not good, they'll replace when other arrives. What takes this from 4 to 5 stars - the guys that delivered the replacement top & fixed the chairs today were exceptional! Very upbeat, friendly and all around genuinely helpful personalities. Really inspected everything carefully with us and seemed to care we were good before they left. Very different experience from some of our other deliveries since moving/remodeling. Hubs is on the fence if we get the other top, this one has some minor issues so giving it a few hours before a decision is made. I'm confident no matter which direction we go, Blake (our sales guy) will take care of us. He and today's delivery guys are definitely five star employees. Plus FR brought our table to TX for a fantastic price. No regrets. Thank you!! read more

My husband and I were looking for a new kitchen table with ten chairs and a buffet! Sarah May helped us and was so very knowledgeable about what we're looking for! Her personality helped make the sale! She was so bubbly and willing to move the chairs and table around and just do whatever was necessary for us to truly see the furniture! I went in because they were running an ad for 99.00 kids beds. The ad showed about 5 different beds, when I went to the store they only had 2. I asked what about the other beds on your ad, the salesperson said I don't know what you are talking about. I pulled up the ad on my phone, when I showed it to him he said I have never seen these beds. He then showed me a different bed which he said would be 150.00, I said ok that sounds good I can do that. He went to his computer and said well that one is actually 399.00. He then had someone else come over to help. I showed this other person my phone with the ad and he said he doesn't know what these beds are either. He did say he had one comparable to one shown in the back, I said could I see this? He said no it's in a box. Needless to say they accomplished their goal and got me into the store however, now I will never be back. Had I gone in and saw that the beds offered were of poor quality that would have been okay they are 99.00 but to have nothing and act like they have no idea what there sales are is unacceptable. I am replacing my furniture in my entire house and there are only a couple of furniture in town they really missed an opportunity. read more

DO NOT purchase a leather sofa from Furniture Row/Sofa Mart. Ours started "peeling" within a couple of years, and now has flaky "leather" pieces all over and the set it only 6 years old. We spent over $3000 for the set (couch, chair, chaise, and ottoman). It is terrible quality. I'd only recommend it for a model home as it looked nice but obviously shouldn't be sat on. I've added a photo but who knows how long they'll allow it to stay up. read more

My son and daughter-in-law purchased a living room set from Furniture Row in Corpus Christi, TX. We really liked it, so we traveled to Furniture Row in Sherman, TX and purchased a similar living set in Dec, 2014. The sofa and love seat were delivered in January. The rocker/recliner did not arrive until late February, supposedly due to the dock strike in CA. Within two years, the rocker recliner developed a very annoying squeak. Despite repeated attempts to apply oil to all of the hinging joints, the squeak always returned. Contacting Furniture Row in Sherman resulted in no help. That piece has been relegated to a bedroom. This week, the portion of the love seat used by my wife developed a problem. One side of the connection between the back and the base broke. The connection consists of 3/8-inch thick plywood, which just disintegrated. Very poor construction for this critical joint! How much more would it have cost to use solid hardwood for this connection?? We won't be buying anything else from Furniture Row. read more

Sofa Mart in Sherman Texas has horrible service after the sale. They lost a table we purchased and it was never delivered. We have called and called, went to the location, have been promised return phone calls to no avail. My husband was once placed on hold for 1.5 hours while they "resolved" the problem. He just set his phone down and left speaker on...1.5 hours and not a soul picked it back up to say a thing, called the location again and WOW, was denied the opportunity to speak to the manager and the young lady answering the phone was more than rude. We have bought from Sofa Mart in 3 different states, we were loyal customers. We will NEVER waste our time again dealing with the incompetent staff at the Sherman location. read more

Furniture Row takes advantage of the elderly. My 80 yr old mother spent over 8,000.00 on a bedroom suit two months ago that is still missing a part. She gets put on hold, told they will return her call, told it is on order and is a priority, then asked if she could go measure the piece for them. The salesman who sold it to her was in the background telling the girl on the phone what to say, yet wouldn't get on the phone himself. When the suit was originally delivered it didn't have the piece that went under the mattress and she was without her bed for almost two weeks and would have been longer if I had not called a manager about it. This is the poorest customer service that I have ever experienced. If the customer is elderly I hope they have someone willing to go to bat for them, otherwise this company will just blow them off. They do not care to satisfy the customer. read more

We ordered a credenza/entertainment center on January 11th and it was delivered to our son's home on the 27th. It was "dropped off" without unpacking and when it was open it was damaged piece of goods (damaged shelves). It appeared that it had been returned once before. Ok, things happen, so we called the 800 number to get someone to pick up and re-order a new one. We talked to a contentious person (Caroline). She said when the new one came it they would pick up the damaged piece. Well now its the 15th of Feb and no replacement. We called to see what was going on and we found it was never reordered at all. Now it will take another week or two weeks to get a replacement from Mississippi. I will say the lady today handled it as best she could, but considering some of the other reviews I have seen here, it appears that Furniture Row has some serious customer service problems and we will not do business with them again. read more

My husband and I called this store prior to visiting and making the 45 minute drive from Dallas to look at down filled sofas. The lady who answered led us to believe they carried this type of item in stock. We walk in and walk around with no greeting from ANYONE! Then finally walk up to the lady and asked for help finding the item I called about, she point from her desk and said "yeah its the Alpha over there." I obviously do not work there and had NO CLUE which sofa set was deemed the Alpha, she finally got off her behind to show me, oy to find that it was not a complete down sofa. What a waste of time. However we were also looking for a Ergomotion bed, walked to that side of the store.....no greeting, no help and not even acknowledged. I wasted so much time even considering this place and tried to call the manager to only be told that he was with a customer and was not going to be available.
