Well, heck mommasita, that is not my problem...but if that lady didn't take it OFF the counter and hide it behind her! Oh no you didn't! I want that throw! She refused to sell it to me for the price on it. SHe told me I could pay the original price or go find another one. (I mean it was cheap, but obviously stickered down) Anywho, it wasn't the only thing I was buying. Also, since I frequent the establishment, she wouldn't honor my emailed discount. I said it expires today. She looked and said nope it expires the day before the date on the coupon... (*eyeroll) No worries, I went the next day and bought the throw from another cashier. Somehow my photos ended up on this site when they should have been on the site for the Valley View…read morelocation. Here is my review for Valley View location. The number of businesses in downtown Valley View Texas is very limited and this is one of the nicest stores of this type anywhere around. It is housed in two old buildings which are connected with a large doorway. The old exposed brick walls can be seen throughout the establishment. The store sells rustic furniture and nic -nacks with a rustic western flair. There are some clothing items as well as many gift items throughout the establishment. The owner is a very interesting person to talk with about the store as well as the history of downtown Valley View. Ask her about the robbery and burning of the bank downtown. This store along with a bakery next door have been renovated and they both retain an historical tradition while at the same time are modern establishments. After you have finished making your purchases at this store don't miss another treat in town by failing to go to the bakery next door.
