I ordered the Arcolo Lamp for my other half's 30th birthday. After nearly 7 weeks, I hadn't heard a thing so I called to ask for an estimated dispatch date. I was told that they would have to look into it and I would get a call back later that day. I got no call so I emailed the following day and then later received an email saying:
"Further to your call, and after consulting our dispatch team, I have been advised that unfortunately we are experiencing an issue with our supplier, whereby, they have advised that they are at present unable to fulfil any of our orders for Arco floor lamps within the expected time frame. They have advised that they are experiencing a problem with the manufacturing process itself which they are presently unable to put a time frame on resolving. Unfortunately, this would mean that the only way forward is for us to issue a full refund for the order unless you are wishing to wait, however we are in the unfortunate position that we cannot advise of a time frame of how soon this would be resolved."
If I hadn't have called and chased I am sure that the company would not have contacted me. I now have nothing to give my other half and no time to re order one. I have not been offered any kind of replacement of alternative.
I think the level of customer service is appalling and would definitely avoid this company in future. read more
