I think where this store goes wrong is it sells really high class furniture. In the windows is luxury leather sofas, marble kitchen tops. I dont think too many people in the area can afford this type of furniture and it doesnt have great enough parking or in a great location in order to attract people from far and wide.

Though after siting on it for a few hours we realised that the sofa is not usable but made as a decorative object only. You can not comfortably sit for more than 5 minutes as your body keep sliding down. We experimented with different visitors and they all confirmed the same problem. There is a manufacturer damage in the construction of the sofa. We had a specialist visiting from DFS who confirmed the same problem though i learnt later that he didn't mentioned it in his report. He promised to get back to me with a proposal to exchange or refund the sofa in 2 days. Instead I never heard from him or anyone else for 5 months ! I tried to contact the company many times. Every time waiting online is about 15-20 minutes, finally someone answers the phone with a sleepy voice from their home. Very unprofessional employees careless about your problem promised me so many times that their manager will get back to me but no one ever did. First time today assistant manager Sebastian called me and informed that there is nothing they can do. I strongly advise anyone against shopping at DFS in order to avoid appalling customer service and deceiving methods towards the clients.
