A nightmare of a facility. They have 20+ dogs running around freely in a dimly lit warehouse under the supervision of maybe TWO 19-year old looking girls. The girls are not trained in canine emergency care. When we first came here I asked if they were trained in how to respond if a real fight breaks out and the owner avoided the question and just said she knows all the vets in the area. So yeah, your dog will get mauled first, but at least they know where the vet is? I asked if they're good about cleaning up feces as soon as it happens and she joked that all the dogs eat poopcicles sometimes in the winter. Meaning it sits there long enough to freeze and thus become a "poopsicle". They dont require a negative fecal test so your dog will likely catch worms here. I asked how closely the dogs are monitored. If theyre being closely watched the entire time. Again, she scooted around my question and just told me some strange story about how she knows to go running when she would hear her sons in her basement start shouting?? So basically they know to pay attention when they hear the fighting start happening. There are cheap, plastic toys laying around everywhere - a perfect recipe for a dog fight to break loose. The first day our dog went we had to pull a foot long strip of fabric from his butt. The second time he went he pooped out the contents of almost an entire plastic toy. When trying to work though a solution for this as we were of course extremely taken aback by the negligence, we were told we could go somewhere else. There was no apology at any point. At all. Only defensiveness. The owner of this business can only say "I've been here for 20 years". She also just kept denying that it could have even happened. It really felt like we were being called liars. Well, we have a photo of the evidence. Mark my words, a dog is going to die in the care of this place. There are other more structured places with highly trained staff that are not only the same price, but some are even slightly more affordable. The complete lack of empathy that my dog could have died from eating a whole toy was so completely bewildering to me. This place is understaffed, it's dirty, it's neglectful. Please think twice about going here. read more
