According to me the best Furancho in the Rías Baixas. A furancho used to be a wine farm solely focussing on producing wine for own consumption. When selling the overproduce the wine farm decided to do this offering small tapas. The menu of a furancho usually consists of a limited amount in dishes.
Furancho de Juan is situated in a small village, next to a busy road. When entering you will find yourself sitting in one of the former rooms of the farm or in the small garden/patio under the wine branches. It feels very intimate.
The food is very nice, fresh and authentic. The people are very nice and down to earth. You will feel at home with a glass of very very nice Albariño and delicious home cooked food.
It is definitely worth the drive! read more
