The restaurant itself is a decent size, more of a hole in the wall type place. The staff are nice and move fairly quickly with our orders and getting our food. The food was delicious. We ordered the crispy kare kare, dinaguan, sizzling sisig, (which they are known for) and everything was good! The only reason why I did not give a 5 star rating is because of the cramped spaces and tendency for bugs:s/flies coming in since the restaurant is open and not enclosed. But for the food, its worth it.

Even better when adding some Calamansi and a bowl of rice. It was the best Sisig I have ever had. The lechon kawali at Aling Lucing is solid as well. My biggest beef with this restaurant is they don't have half the items on the menu. The bulaklak chicharon wasn't available. The Kate-Kare wasn't available. I imagine it's hard to run a business without having half the menu. Fortunately they had the namesake Sisig. Overall food was good but whoever is in charge of the restaurant food ingredients needs help.

Their isaw is orange, which is prettier to look at (heheh), and they don't overcook the isaw like Mang Larry's often does. My street food of choice is isaw manok, and I haven't found another isawan that serves anything as good as what they have here. The stall directly next to it sells fishballs and kwek-kwek, so hanging out on that lawn with a mere fifty pesos will get you very far. Pair your street food with some refreshing buko juice, and you'll understand why this is a UP student's standard meal. It's not just cheap; it's actually really good! The stalls moved from the empty lot right across Law to the one next to it. The old location is now a parking lot, and while the new one allows several cars to park as well, the ground is much more uneven and rocky. Girls, leave your heels at home!

The food order is properly itemized and priced in the printed order slip. It gets full very quickly nearing meal times. We had to wait a short while after placing our order at around 5:45 PM. Students, office workers, and tourists are the present diners when we ate there. What I did not like was the setting and service. It did come a long way now that it has a dedicated seating area and a covered roof compared to yesteryears when it was only a stand-up kiosk. It would have been nice if they went all the way and cemented the flooring and have chosen more presentable table and chairs. Durint the time we were present dining, we also overheard another customer having their order wrong. He ordered something around 20 sticks, but what came in the take-out bag was only around 16 sticks. It was a few sticks short. Lastly, do not expect to get good value when eating here. The small portions of food on the sticks are a little pricey and can add up quicky with just a few sticks ordered.

It serves a variety of innards and offal, which I think shows the ingenuity and the resourcefulness of our street food eating habits -nothing goes to waste. On the menu are different kinds of isaw or pig and chicken intestines, and other adventurous stuff such as pig ears, tripe, gizzards and liver. People would actually line up and end up smelling like the smoke from the outdoor grill, which goes to show how good the isaw is. I personally don't like isaw very much, and I have already shifted to my veg diet when I came to UP, but my friends swear by the quality of the isaw sold by Mang Larry's. A friend remarked that he wouldn't even touch any other isaw, unless he is sure that utter care was taken by the vendor in cleaning the innards. They say that the stuff sold by Mang Larry's taste fresh and clean, and free from that undesirable taste of chicken poop that any amateur isaw vendor wouldn't think of cleaning out thoroughly. Anyway, I heard Mang Larry was able to send his kids to college because of his trade, to which I say, well done! Excellent job, hardworking and charismatic Mang Larry!

*Don't eat here if you'll be dining outside*…read more My family has been eating here since they opened because the food especially their aged beef is really good and always high quality. But today was honestly disappointing. We ate around 5PM with my lola, my younger sister, and my dog. I understand that pets are only allowed outside, and that's fine. I'm used to that setup. But the outdoor area today had so many flies around 20 or more, not exaggerating. We asked for candles but it didn't help much, so we transferred to the other side since it looked like there were fewer flies. While eating, I was fanning our table almost the whole time so my lola and sister could eat properly. My lola is a senior, so she couldn't really keep shooing them away. It was honestly uncomfortable even the CCTV could show how chaotic our table looked just trying to eat in peace. After eating, I spoke with the manager to share my concern. He explained that they already do regular fumigation and use traps, which I appreciate. But he didn't apologize or acknowledge the hassle of our experience. I suggested maybe raising it with the Clark management team for wider fumigation because the problem might be beyond just their area. Lastly, when I mentioned I had my dog, the manager said I should've just left my pet in the car which was disappointing to hear. It's not safe to do that, and it felt like they don't really care much about pet owners even if we're following the outdoor-only rule. The food is great, but the outdoor dining experience really needs improvement. Cleanliness and comfort are just as important as taste especially since flies can carry diseases.
