We hired FunLovinCamera for videography and photography services for our wedding in Carpinteria, CA in February 2020. We were worried about not having the budget to afford both, but FunLovinCamera made it possible, AND we managed to add an album! Cat, their Office Manager, was always very polite and attentive with email replies. They were also accommodating when we requested to meet with the team before our wedding day to talk about logistics (which at the end of the day wasn't necessary since they killed it and knew exactly what to do). Day of, they managed their limited amount of time well (we hired them for 9 hours total). They were great with keeping us on time while capturing most of the photos we wanted - we did miss a few asks from our shit list, but que sera sera. We managed to squeeze in a faux grand exit too so we didn't have to pay for extra hours. Anatoly was great at making us laugh and making sure the pictures seemed natural/relaxed (even with our awkward bridal party lol!). What I thought was incredibly sweet was that Anatoly provided us with a few edited pictures (10) so we could share on social media while the rest of our pictures were edited within the next 60 days. After the wedding, we got copies of our wedding video and images before the 60-day deadline (yay!) and were given the opportunity to provide edits. We received our final, edited wedding album, USB drive with images and video, etc. in the mail in a timeline manner as well. Nik and the rest of his team were a dream come true for wedding photography and videography. When searching, we saw that prices for some companies were WAY out of our budget, but FunLovin was exactly what we needed. We did the Gold package (2 photographers & 2 videographers for 9 hours) and opted for an hour-long video upgrade since we wanted the full ceremony, speeches, first dance, etc. I am so glad we did! They were great at directing us in how to pose for some of the staged shots and the candid ones turned out great as well. Nik also helped me get specific shots that I wanted (on the balcony, a funny shot with a lamppost that reminded me of Singin' In the Rain, and a huge family group picture). You can really tell that Nik loves what he does, and wants to do the best job he can on the best day of your life. The photos and video came out so well. I hired FunLovinCamera back in February 2020 for my wedding scheduled for June of 2020. Like many others, our wedding got placed on hold. We didn't know if it would happen or not. Our venue pushed the wedding to April 2021. I immediately contacted Catherine and we reschedule the date. At the end of December the venue decided to push the wedding once again due to COVID restrictions. At this point we decided to have a small wedding of 40 guests instead of our original 250 guests. I still wanted to keep FunLovingCamera as our photographers/videographers but Catherine told me they didn't do anything less than 6 hours on a Saturday. I asked if I could use my deposit for something else or in the future and she was very nice about it and stated we could use our deposit towards an engagement shoot and I could pay off the difference. So now, I contact her to try and schedule my engagement shoot and everything has changed. We went back and forth today for a few hours in which she completely denied such agreement. My fault I supposes for not getting it in writing. I thought her word was enough. Her entire argument was ridiculous, she went on and on about how my deposit was for, and I quote "Deposit always goes toward all the communication, meetings, reschedulings etc. " has anyone every heard of such a thing? Because I sure have not. I was NOT asking for my money back, I was asking her to honor our verbal agreement and use my deposit towards and engagement shoot and I would pay off the difference. I had referred a family member who is getting married at the end of the year and she was actually going to book next week. After this, she will no longer be using their services. When I told her she could keep the deposit but will loose a client she said how they had to rescheduled 200 weddings and almost lost their business helping couples out. Now I'm on here reading other reviews and I see I'm not the only one that had issues with them. Beware of Catherine, make sure everything is via email DO NOT TAKE HER WORD. read more

From the start, I like that their pricing is very transparent. It was easy to set up an initial meeting with Cat and it was very low pressure. She was also very responsive over email. Unfortunately, I don't remember the photographer's and videographer's names (sorry!) so I can shout them out, but they were so professional and communicated well with my coordinator and me. We have a large family and I thought it was going to be a hot mess but they handled everything well and were able to coordinate us for photos. I had guests afterward specifically tell me that they were so nice so I'm glad everyone had a good impression of them. They are very punctual; the turnaround time was 2 months on the dot. We were fortunate enough to get FunLovinCamera for both our wedding photography and videography. We haven't received our photos/videos yet, other than when Anatoly did our engagement photoshoot, which came out great, but I still had to write this review for how incredible Anatoly and the rest of the crew were at both our Cambodian wedding and Western wedding. They really went above and beyond to try and capture every special moment, running around like mad men, and working extra hard to make sure they pull together as many images as possible. Thank you FunLovingCamera for such an amazing job and working so tirelessly for over 13 hours that day and even staying a little beyond to capture some extra footage. We had FunLovinCamera photo and video at our small backyard wedding on 4/17/21 and they were amazing. We had Nik and Alex and they were both very patient with us, friendly, guided all of our poses and made sure my dress was fluffed for every single picture. Because our wedding was in a house, we decided to go to a nearby park for the family photos, and they both quickly developed a plan of how and where to take the best pictures. We got 40 pictures the day after our wedding and they were all amazing. All of our guests raved about how amazing they both were and overall are very happy we booked them. We were originally supposed to have our wedding on 4/25/20, but like many, had to reschedule due to COVID. I don't think these guys could have done a better job with my brother from another mothers wedding. They were so patient and professional. We were running late but they still professional about it. They let us take our time and took their time to get the best shots. They guided us every step of the way and made us feel comfortable through it all. Anotoly and Nick were the best! My husband and I started with using them for our engagement photos and we were impressed by their willingness to get the perfect shots. Alicia and Catherine were very helpful with coordinating our meetings with them through prompt email. We ended up booking the gold package for our wedding that included photo and video for about 9 hours. They went the extra mile to get every possible shot for us. We now have over 4,000 pictures (800 edited) and a 40 minute video to look back on and remember our special day. They are very through and not only do they get the family, bridal party, couple photos, but they pay close attention to all the small details that made our wedding ours. I was so impressed by the photos they were able to capture and I've probably watched our wedding video a dozen times in the last day... What made everything even better was the cost, turnaround and presentation. You can't beat their prices for the quality you receive and it helps that we paid half night of the wedding and the remainder when we received our photos. We received all our photos and video in about 1-2 months after our wedding and they supplied all the raw data on an external hard drive for us (small extra charge) all our edited footage was on a custom engraved usb that was included. If I could go back, I'll tell them that I don't want too many guest photos... Photographers were super nice and friendly but I'm not happy with the photos. They advertise 500 edited photos... more than half of them are photos of my guests. Not that I don't want any photos of my guests but more than half? It's my fault, I wasn't specific, but I didn't know!! It's my first time!!! How am I supposed to know? So don't make the same mistake and make sure to tell them exactly what you want. Never go cheap on two things on your wedding night, 1. your DJ 2. the photographer. Boy I'm happy I listened to my wife on that. First I wanted to do the simple photography which we got a good deal but then we decided to add the videography too which they were nice enough to add that to our package. That shouldn't be an issue when you are planning 6 months or a year ahead BUT that wasn't the case with us. We decided to have the wedding in just 2 months! They were really accommodating and professional which made the whole thing possible for us and allow us to have more time to get other things done like the dress or the location and .... The photographer had plenty of good ideas for the angles of the shots and how he wanted us to walk or look at each other. We met at the beach and after about one hour taking pictures and videos we went for the ceremony which was at a different location. They took over three thousand pictures & videos in almost five hours! There was not an angle or a moment of our wedding that we could say they could've done a better job. With our package we also got a short edited video of the best moments of our night. They will give you a Dropbox link to see and download the pictures but since they were just too many and we wanted to have them all we decided to pay a little extra and have them put everything on a hard drive ($90 shipping included) Kat was very easy to talk to and understood our needs and helped us to have our dream wedding! read more

Our camera men Ruslan and Alex were so great! We had an ambitious shot list, with a large guest count and they took advantage of every second to capture as much as possible. Although it was the first time we met them, we very easily became comfortable with both of them. We first communicated with the manager, Cat, regarding the logistics of the booking and she was super helpful with everything. My fiancée was just diagnosed with a serious health issue, and she wanted to take engagement/lifestyle pictures before starting treatment.
