For the novice…read moreart gallery visitor who wants an accessible place to check out a variety of works, this is one of the first places I'd recommend. It's been a while since I've been in but I first and foremost appreciated the variety of incredible works from local artists. This is the kind of place you go to find that super unique conversation, statement or accent piece to highlight your home. I've seen everything from portraits to pastoral settings on display here. Most importantly, this is one of those many small businesses we should all go out of the way to support during tough economic times like these (written during the time of COVID). I hope that anyone who is wandering Sutter Creek or in the area stops in to check this gallery out!

Prices range from moderate to high-end, and there are smaller gift items in the less-expensive range, so don't overlook this shop! Sherrie, a former museum docent was quite helpful and very informative. We bought a couple stamped vintage silver spoons for our herb garden and then went back for a copper and glass art piece the next morning that we realized we needed to bring home! It was a pleasure to visit this gallery and see such fine interpretations of the local area. We'll be sure to visit the next time to see what's new.

Unfortunately, some of the less than delightful shopkeepers have been out right cold to me, my friends... it's perfectly okay, we didn't intend to buy anything super expensive, but still... a smile doesn't cost anything does it? I do own a pair of earrings from here that I picked up a couple of years ago that I adore, so that's what keeps me coming in. I've noticed that they have some better or upscale inventory than some of the other shops in the area, but I've also seen some of the same art elsewhere in California galleries. He could and it's on full display in his shop. We have been around for a day or so and we're not sure when it was open. So glad we saw that it was open and visited and learned that he is retiring. Sad to learn this but completely understand at the same time. He has some beautiful art that is affordable for all price ranges. The selection is huge and if you like glass work don't pass this up. He was very helpful, takes credit cards and helped pack our purchase in enough protection for travel. A true artist in Sutter Creek and in my opinion someone worth supporting. Glass artists are not growing in their field they are shrinking. I would rather buy from a living artist than a dead one. They use to only have a couple of benches inside but I'm happy they added some booths. My family and I have been coming here for a few years and it's always a great experience. Their ice cream is delicious, and a personal favorite is their 50/50 freeze. The only reason I knocked it down one star is because they usually only have one employee working. This is fine when the store is empty, but when there are bigger groups it takes a while, so be patient. They also feature and sell work from local artists. This spot is a must try!

These coins are double and triple stamped. Multiple errors on my coins. She then says "he will look at them for you". The guy grabs one and says, they are all common. Yeah, maybe but not that common. Felt very pawn like and they probably get over on a lot of people who do not know better. I would respectfully not refer this place. Bad experience for me. Would have been nice for him to tell me about the 10+ coins i had with errors. Be careful!
