I didn't even know this store existed until the other day by word of my coworker and I was super excited to look inside. Unfortunately, everything seemed to be a bit pricey, but still fun to look around and very colorful. The owner was friendly and observant. A lot of different options if you're looking for a little gifts.

Funk Zone Vintage is by far the best vintage store in Santa Barbara to find great gifts for others or to find a little something special for yourself. I'm someone who spins vinyl and love that they have a record store as well. I'm always looking for deep cuts that you just aren't going to with streaming services. At Funk Zone Records, I've found fantastic albums for great bands like The Who with songs I am now just getting introduced to because they are on vinyl. I love how they are located in the Santa Barbara Funk Zone, making it easy to find and visit for a quick check in to see what might be new in the store. I've been happy with their customer service and impressed with how they will go the extra mile to find what you are looking for. I'd suggest checking it out soon if you haven't!

When I completed the purchase, the staff refused to provide the dust bag that had been under the item the day before. Their explanation was that the dust bag now had a different item ticket placed inside it. This response made little sense. The dust bag originally matched the item my wife purchased and had been displayed with it. Instead of resolving the issue in a reasonable way, the staff focused only on the technicality of the ticket inside the bag and declined to provide a dust bag which goes to the item purchased. An offer was also made of the same brand dust bag but come to find out they did not have another. So the offer could not stand. For a store that sells luxury products intended to be kept and protected in dust bags, refusing to provide one over something so minor reflects poor customer service and a lack of flexibility. A simple solution would have been to provide the dust bag which matches the brand. The experience left me feeling that the focus was on rigid internal process rather than basic customer care. Would not recommend or return. Way better finds in LA.

This shop is truly for every body and every budget, which honestly feels refreshing. You'll find a thoughtful mix of vintage and secondhand pieces, locally made ceramics, jewelry, and other treasures that make it very hard to leave empty-handed (I tried, I failed). And yes, they've got great stuff for men too. Andi, the owner, has curated a space that feels intentional and community-rooted and does an amazing job working closely with local artists and giving them a platform. You can really feel that care throughout the shop, especially if you've ever stopped by during the Old Town Goleta Community Walk. Alyssa is also an absolute gem. Warm, helpful, and happy to let you browse without hovering. The vibe is relaxed, friendly, and very "take your time, you belong here." Logistics matter, so let's talk parking. There's a free city lot on the corner of Hollister Ave and Pine Ave, plus street parking if you're feeling lucky. No excuses. If you love supporting local makers, vintage, and secondhand shopping and want a shop that actually walks the walk when it comes to inclusivity, Lazy Eye Shop is doing it right.

Walked in, and found a comfy and classic pair of shoes, and now looking forward to trying on some of their men's fashions, and perusing through their assorted gift items. Thanks Danica for introducing us to all this little shop has to offer. Located right next door to Old Town Coffee. Which is perfect, coffee and fun fashions.
