My husband and I cannot praise Funico enough. We had a two-day Indian/Western fusion Sangeet & wedding and our photographers/videographers were with us every step of the way with fun dispositions, professional demeanor, and passion for their craft. Brian (photographer) was imaginative and adventurously creative with shots and made us feel at ease. Dan (photographer) was equally engaging and adept. Also, an important issue for us was that the photographers not obstruct guests' views and feel a little too *present*. They were not. They just blended into the background while still getting amazing photos that we look back on with immense joy. The final products were outstanding. Funico's samples on their website already speak for themselves and drew us to them in the first place. And Alice was a delight! She was our first contact point with Funico and she was assuring, understanding, and communicative. We knew we were in good hands. Funico Studios was one of the Photographers our venue had recommended to us. My mom made an appointment and went and met with Alice, the wife of this husband and wife team. Alice has a warm and friendly personality. She talked about their experiences photographing at Snug Harbor, our wedding venue site. She showed us many samples of books, pictures and canvases her and her husband James shot over the years. They had beautiful work. We met with a few others online thru other friends and family recommendations but I already knew I had made my choice. We made it official and signed with Funico. I couldn't have been happier. My husband Joe and I had a very small intimate wedding with around 70 guests in early September. Given the small guest list, everyone stood out and we were able to get great shots of almost everyone. We were married outdoors on probably the most humid day of the summer. It was extremely hot. Poor James literally sweat thru his shirt! But that didn't stop him; he was everywhere, snapping away. James took a nice assortment of formal and candid shots. We were married and had our reception outdoors in Sung Harbor, so we had a lot of natural botanical backgrounds. Funico told me they knew the Snug Harbor facility well and they were true to their word. James knew all of the best areas to photograph on the premises. About six weeks after the wedding, we were able to view all of our photos online. We just finished choosing our favorite shots for our Wedding photo books. I cant wait to see the final products and actually hold the final products. Couldn't have been happier with Funico Studios. Amongst all the chaos of that day with other vendors, I had zero to think about or worry about with my choice in Photographers. Total professionals! We absolutely LOVED working with James and Alice this past May for our wedding. They saw the exact vision we had wanted in our photos. The photography was incredible, and they really knew how to position everyone in the perfect spots to make the most beautiful photos. In addition, Alice and James were such a pleasure to work with. Funico is simply AMAZING!!! We hired them to photograph our wedding, which took place in the fall of 2017. From the moment we chose them, we knew we had made a great decision! Friendly, responsive, extremely talented, not intrusive, down to earth...We met Alice first who could not be more welcoming and sweet. You can tell she really cares what you are looking for and want to work with you. I must admit when I was looking at the website and the albums in person I figured there was no way we would be able to afford them because these photos were in all honesty artwork. They are flexible and willing to work with you not against. The day of the wedding James and his assistant we early to set up which was so amazing, way less stressful for me! James was fantastic with everyone from the flower girl to the crazy groomsmen. He really wants to let you enjoy your day and pulls you away minimally. I can't say enough about how great it was to work with Alice and James. From the planning to the day of the event, they were responsive, easy to work with, and did everything they could to help make the day go by smoothly. It was amazing how both the engagement and wedding pictures reflected who we are as a couple. They captured every detail and memory of our wedding perfectly. It rained on the evening of our wedding and their expertise and experience working at the Liberty House definitely calmed my nerves, given that we had to change our plans from taking photos outside to taking them inside the venue. Of all the vendors that I worked with for my wedding, Funico Studios was the best. James was my photographer and not only could you tell he cared about his work, but he was critical in making sure the day ran smoothly. Before the wedding, he created a timeline of photos to take, based on my preferences, and he made sure the day followed the timeline well. His calm presence was much needed for my nerves! My wedding day was an unusually hot and humid May day, and we all felt the heat. However, the heat did not phase James and he took amazing photos. Our photos came out amazing, and you couldn't even tell we were melting under the sun! Working with them was so easy! Alice was the first person I spoke to and once I told her what I was looking for and what ideas I had, her vision matched exactly with mine, especially with her and her husband's past experiences.
