Recently had my 2 year anniversary and was thinking about our wedding. So, I decided to catch up on…read morewedding reviews. Although it's been 2 years since the wedding, it's funny how brides can remember pretty much everything and which vendor was awesome and which was not. I still remember very clearly that 4 Eyes was the only vendor that we had any problems with. A few of the things that happened really annoyed us. 1) Kellie and Rupert were 15 minutes late. This is awful because we had to rush through all the pre-wedding photos. And it stressed me out - A LOT. They charge $600/hour. They must have had 10 missed calls from me. Their reason was that they were stuck in traffic and forgot their phone. That's not really an excuse, because my videographer and make up artist got to the hotel one hour early! As a wedding professional how they can just aim to be on time and not early. And the added stress is not a great way to start a wedding day. 2) Although minor, it was still annoying that they brought an assistant without telling us ahead of time, so I had to arrange for an extra vendor meal at the last minute. I had a lot more pressing things to attend to on my wedding day without them throwing me a surprise like this. 3) The main reason why I would never recommend them is that our photos that we waited over 2 months for were flawed - with SPOTS all over many of the photos. Some spots on our faces like we have a bad case of moles. A lot of the spots are in the same areas on the photos, so we suspected that one of the cameras was dirty. Are they serious? How can they send us photos like these - did they even bother checking the photos? I wrote them an email explaining my disappointment and Kellie wrote back telling me that she will put all the pictures back into post-production. We waited another 6 weeks for the new DVD. Although, they cleaned up most of the obvious spots, there were still many spots on the pictures. This puts them straight into amateur territory. I thought I hired professional photographers. Comparing them to all my other vendors, they are definitely at the bottom of the list, because all of my other vendors either went above and beyond to make my day wonderful or at least met expectations. They were the only ones that caused me any problems. And I haven't recommended them to my engaged friends. When we took our 1 year anniversary photos, we also didn't contact them, but instead hired a different photographer for about half the price and she was absolutely brilliant and photos came out beautiful and amazing - with no spots to say the least. I would have to say that 4 Eyes didn't meet our expectations and is the only vendor we wish we didn't hire.

But Gio shared sneak peeks and full gallery with us much faster than I expected. - Well planned: we decided to take pre-wedding photos in SoHo. I was a little worried because SoHo is always full of people and cars, and I wasn't sure if we could finish our photo shooting within the scheduled time. Gio didn't share any detailed plan with us before the wedding day. But he had all the spots and the most efficient route in his mind, we followed him and took photos at about 5 or 6 very nice places at SoHo. We really love those photos!!! - Nice price. We chose Gio for engagement photos more because of the price. And we surprisingly found out we loved his photos as well!!!! He offered us discount for wedding photos because we had the engagement session with him, which is very nice. Thank you so much Gio! She is very easy to work with and extremely flexible. It's easy to feel shy and awkward in front of the camera if you aren't used to taking pictures, but she makes my family and I feel completely comfortable and at ease. She has a beautiful, cozy Manhattan studio that's very accessible too! The images we've received are STUNNING and we constantly get compliments on them when friends and family see them. We asked her to to come Dumbo, Brooklyn for the photoshoot and she was so accommodating. My family is really bad with taking pictures. So I personally was a little hesitant . But Abigail made it so easy and the shots she took were amazing. We loved the whole experience of it. She never rushed us, let us take our time and we were so comfortable with her. StillYash arrived on time, well prepared, and very knowledgeable in staging the shots. Our event ran longer than expected and StillYash was with us until the end of the event. Our wedding photo shoot was one of the most awkward experiences of my life. Michael had us do these incredibly uncomfortable poses. At one point we refused to do some poses. His editing skills is pretty much bumping up the saturation to an unnatural level. His professionalism was also lacking. He wasn't the friendly or easiest to talk to. We had sent him poses we wanted to do and he did maybe 1/4 of them. He also violated part of our signed contract. The only good thing was that he was affordable.
