This one looked the best to me by her website alone and she was able to fit him in quickly whereas the other ones that I called had a long waiting list. I learned a lot from her in just our first visit. We have now been seeing Rose for speech twice a week for 3 months and my child who was only saying 7 words is now talking almost up to his level (He was a year and a half behind according to testing). She thinks within a few more months he will be finished with therapy. She makes learning fun for the kids by playing games with them and he really loves going to speech and has caught on very quickly. I couldn't be more pleased with his progress, and I can't thank Rose enough for what she has done for him! She's amazing.

I am writing this complaint due to numerous unprofessional experiences. Our son had services with…read moreIndigo Therapy for about a year and we are not happy with the services we received. For example Our son had dental surgery and the day after he wasn't feeling great with a sore mouth/face but due to their strict policy on missing appointments we gave it try and brought him to occupational therapy. Our Son was obviously not very willing or excited to engage that day and because of this my fiancé cut the appointment early and expressed the need to just get him home. His occupational therapist then said he could no longer work with our son despite our son engaging in numerous appointments before hand. We continued with the Speech therapy services as it was something our son still needed. And gave so much energy to get him comfortable with speech therapy. Unfortunately our jobs are not very flexible with missing time off each week to attend these appointments and required FMLA paperwork to be filled out. The speech therapist filled out the paperwork stating we only needed 30 minutes off of work to attend our son's appointments. My fiancé is mission critical at the Kirkland Air Force Base and daycare is 20 minutes away. Unfortunately teleportation is not possible and with our son's appointments being 30 minutes long we end up missing an hour of work. And that is with us both making an effort for my fiancé to pick my son up and be present for the appointment. And then I would take My son back to daycare. While My fiancé get back to the Air Force Base. Furthermore my fiancé spoke to the speech therapist about this and asked her to correct it as it does take longer than 30 minutes to actually get our son to these appointments. All we asked for was 1 hour of accommodation. 30 minutes for the appointment and 30 minutes to help with travel to get my son to his appointment. She didn't seem willing to fix the paperwork and said she can't do that. My fiancée explained that he was now facing picking between changing our sons speech therapy else where or losing his job. She said she would figure it out since the owners were not there at the time. The following week my fiance takes our son to his appointment and is stopped before entering the lobby. The lady at the front desk told him that we were discharged and that we signed for it in the mail. I'm not sure if they are forging documents or what convenient mixup happened but we have video footage from our driveway and doorbell camera of the mailman going to our door while we were at work and not home as well as a letter in our mailbox stating they missed us. Instead of emailing us or giving us a call in the very least to inform us we did not need to miss work and pull our son out of his ABA services at Centra. We get weekly emails for reminder of appointments, so it goes to show how professional they really are and we're petty and let us show up to lie and say we signed and received paperwork that we never did. In addition My fiancé sat down with the owners after his occupational therapy chose to threaten to discharge him because "he was not willing to engage" and then "missed to many sessions". My fiancé pointed out to both the occupational therapist and the owners that our son engaged numerous times and has missed because he got sick from daycare and or had doctors appointments. And pointed out that we don't want anyone that genuinely don't want to help our son and don't want to continue services with him just the speech therapist. At that time the owners made us feel heard and explained they understood where we were coming from "were good parents and doing our best" and gave us the option to get a new occupational therapist or just continue with the speech therapy. In addition I do want to add that the speech therapist she did admit she didn't know how to fill out the FMLA paperwork. Which made this process more challenging and stressful. I have never heard of a doctor not willing to accommodate drive time that is required to get to your appointment and the duration of the appointment. We already used our lunch break to get my son to his appointment and get him back to daycare. Furthermore they did not discharge us properly or professionally and it is unfortunate that this affects my son. Overall this experience has been very unprofessional. It seems if you advocate for your child and their best interest they get upset. If you have young kids who get sick from daycare/school, have an autism diagnosis, or have a job that is strict with missing time for weekly appointments I would recommend you look elsewhere. Thank Jesus we got him into other services at Centria Autism while ago where they have helped pick up our Son daily after he spends half the day at pre K at daycare. They have done such an amazing job and would recommend them to everyone. Daycare and Centria Autism is what has help my son the most. Cant give credit to indigo therapy for 1-30 minutes session a week.

Not sure if it was a bad day, but she ought to be more considerate to those who are not used to their loved one in a facility such as this. Well, his home caretaker would be one who should get information , his wife would be another and his son. Why do we have to narrow it down to one person? I had to choose his home caretaker but his wife should be able to call to get updates. This is a stupid rule. It should be anyone the patient decides. She also spoke to my step father like he was a little kid. I also noticed he is near the nurse station and whoever sits there (the case worker/manager do, I might add) is loud along with the others that go and congregate. They ought to be mindful that people need peace and quiet to heal. Seems like just this one person is the problem. Everyone else seems respectful. I can't speak to the quality of care or the type of care he is receiving yet so I will update this review.

I reached out and did not get a call back until 4 weeks later, and only after I submitted my termination of care to them. Then the owner Wendy called, no apologies, she just said "So you found a new therapist for your son" I indicated "no", and asked her if she had gotten my letter terminating care. The owner responded with a "yes". That is all she said. That shows that she has no clue the importance of child therapy or cared for my child's therapy. I would go elsewhere, never Pegasus Therapy.
