I'm hesitant to write this review because this place is extraordinary and I want to keep it quiet…read more Though I also want to be supportive of the business, so here it This class is the most fun I've had since my gymnastics days! It incorporates parkour, climbing, and gymnastics. It's like a safer version of CrossFit, using your body as the weight. Classes are taught by Jenny, a knowledgeable physical therapist, and Jason, an avid climber. This type of movement helps train balance, strength, and agility. The attendees are supportive and the environment is fun! The exercises always change and you leave class feeling worked but rejuvenated. The bonus is finally mastering a skill you've been practicing.

Light years better than the other P.T. place I went to in Albuquerque!…read more I injured my knee last December (Doc at the medi-clinic said I probably tore my meniscus), and went to see one of the Physical Therapists at Langford. Cara, was great, and also very sensible of the fact that I was paying for my therapy out of pocket, so as soon as she was able, she referred me over to Julie at Move Tru. Let me tell you, Julie is da bomb! She's strict, yet patient, encouraging, fun to work with, and flexible when it comes to handing out the "Homework" exercises or modifying a particular treatment if it makes me uncomfortable. I always get Julie's full attention. When she works with me, she only works with me (unlike the other place where my therapist was working with several patients at once). She's always watching to make sure I'm doing the exercises correctly. Thanks to Julie, I'm in better shape than I've been in awhile, and I'm almost ready to go back to running again. I highly recommend Julie and Move Tru!

I get claims for things like…read moreBifocal Vision Lenses even though that's obviously not a service provided by physical therapy. I've spent countless hours on the phone trying to resolve this and no one ever gets back to me. Did not love my experience with PT at Dawn…read more They are VERY hard to reach on the phone. I guess they do not have an answering service?? Took a few weeks before we finally connected. Finally reached someone on the phone so I could start scheduling appointments. I told him I couldn't do anything before 10:00am because I don't live in the city, and he scheduled one for 11 then asked, "How about 7:00?" I'm PRETTY sure 7 is before 10... For my first appointment I ended up driving around and around trying to find some place to park. They told me later when I mentioned it that despite their "No Parking" signs, you MAY park in their small lot at the corner of Central & High St. Entrance is on High St. Tiny waiting room. They have wifi. (Which they also neglected to tell me.) . I did not click with my therapist either, although that is just personalities. I have a joint injury as well as another diagnosis and I don't really appreciate being told that I "just need to get over it." I went looking for assistance and care, not arguments about how many push-ups I can do. After my second appointment the aggravation and pain were just too much and I cancelled all my remaining appointments. I'll find a more caring provider somewhere else. I tried to get a feel for other clients and everyone seemed to be leaving there in good spirits, however one woman came in and cancelled all her appointments as well. (I couldn't determine why) There are numerous therapists, so it's possible some are a better fit for certain clients than others, and they were all very friendly it seemed.

Jelise, Your and…read moreAnnette's behavior today was disingenuous and unprofessional. First of all, it was not time for an evaluation, and you had decided before the visit that it was going to be my last one, and neither you nor Annette told me before the appointment. I should have had the option to decide whether or not I wanted to take part in a sham evaluation that seemed designed to cover up that Annette's advice had injured me.  I should have been able to decide whether I wanted to take part in an evaluation that would not benefit me at all when I was there to actually receive treatment.  The pretext you decided to use to disrupt my medical treatment was that I was not willing to do exercises. I guess it's fun to ignore that I was injured by the foam roller exercises that Annette gave me and had to work hard to decompress my spine.  Myofascial release and stretching are as important as exercises. Just giving someone exercises is a recipe for injury.  I said that I was willing to do exercises. I simply wanted to not be injured, and to receive treatment. Though it was very scary to have my back pinching for the first time in my life, and very uncomfortable to have pain in my cervical spine from the compression, the upside is that the kyphosis is correcting. The downside is that as my spine straightened I started to feel pain in my sternum from the pulling. Apparently I was just supposed to put up with your therapists' haphazardly treating me without dealing with my actual body in real time as it changed from the treatment, and get injured.  It seems like you failed to injure me significantly or trigger me into leaving, I expect you to actually treat my body, and so you decided to deny me service. It seems like there is some quality of mine that makes you think it is acceptable to discriminate against me.  It seems like it is regular business practice for you to trigger people to opt out or to not treat them. So, now I have to report your business to my insurance company. I also have to report Claire and Annette for their bizarre and unprofessional behavior.  I'm guessing that the business owners rubber stamp your unethical spinning and justification of refusing patients service (since you said you have been there for 12 years and had no problem looking me in the face and discriminating against me and inventing pretexts), but I will report you to them. Please ensure that both Claire and Annette know that I was actually there to be treated and didn't have any intention of being triggered or injured, and I will be reporting them. In case you were misleading them, they should have the chance to actually treat me.  If they have been entrapped, I am not the one entrapping people. I just want to be functional and pain-free. It is a felony to collaborate to prevent someone from being able to use their medical insurance to receive treatment. I will also be reporting you to law enforcement. Kyeann Sayer
