Smash burger with brisket and onion rings.

There was a yelp elite event here a few months ago that I missed, but I have since had it bookmarked and finally made it out today. Not crowded on a Saturday around 2:45pm. This place smells like delicious BBQ the second you open the door. Initially I wanted a burger, but after much internal debate, I settled on the tri tip with a side of Mac and cheese. Tri tip was tender and flavorful. Smoky with a sweet and smoky bbq sauce (I asked for extra). The Mac and cheese was perfectly gooey and had good flavor. The garlic toast that came with the meal was also very good. My husband got a smash burger with brisket and onion rings on it and it was great. Cooked well and flavorful. The fries were good but nothing special. Overall, a great experience. We don't live nearby but will definitely return when in the area. I want to try the chicken wings and the ribs!

My SO wanted to try this place because I have been raving how good the food is. I came here before for a Yelp Elite event and I was impressed with how much food there was. And how delicious it was. Food Tri - tip with Mac and Cheese, Garlic Toast, and Tortilla Soup Brisket with Mashed Potato, Garlic Toast, and Tortilla Soup The meats were tender and savory. I like my Tri - tip but I like the Brisket better. I would definitely recommend it for the price and the texture too. The place was getting packed when we came but we were able to get a table. Our server kept on checking us but it could use a little more of a vibrant attitude. One big TV on the wall and pretty good size ones all around showing a ball game. Lively music playing on the background.

What a fun night filled with savory hearty food and hey! Dodgers won the World Series! From top to bottom, all the food offering at Funburger & BBQ were so delicious. This was a really great night and we all left very full and satisfied! We had the Tri-tip, baby back ribs, BBQ chicken, and brisket. These guys know their BBQ and everything tasted delicious without being overly heavy or too overdone. My favorite has to be the Tri-tip and the BBQ chicken, although it's easy to say that the real MVP is the BBQ sauce. Just enough sweetness to make anything you pour it on taste even better. And of the sides, the Brussel Sprouts and pesto pasta are the big winners. Just cooked and seasoned to perfection. Even the mashed potatoes was special. It's almost has a cheesiness quality that I thought it may be Mac and cheese. It just compliments the proteins very well. If there are any weaker dishes, they would be the brisket (need a bit more seasoning) and the garlic bread (not garlicky enough), but they are minor setbacks. And to top if off, the Dodgers won the World Series, so it was a cap to a fantastic night!

First time here, and it smells delicious. I'm not even inside yet. OMG, amazingly delicious!!! I arrived at the location 15 minutes before they opened and must say they were already preparing food. While taking a picture of the front entrance, I could already smell the smoked BBQ. As I entered the restaurant, the intensity of the BBQ aroma grew even more. I had mentioned that I had seen this huge BBQ burger on IG. The gentleman mentioned it was called the Ken & Joe's Spoke Wheel Funburger. I ordered that with a side of beer battered onion rings and a coke. I must say the burger itself is huge. It is also a must try and delicious. This is a very good thing as well as a bad thing in a great way. This burger has completely taken risen to the top of my favorite burgers of all time. It's a bit of a drive, but it so worth it! The burger itself is a Smashburger topped with smoked brisket, a beer battered onion ring, pepper jack cheese, jalapeno, red hot pepper relish, spicy BBQ, on a toasted garlic butter ciabatta bread (also a portion of the proceeds donated to St. Jude's Hospital). Not only was I not able to finish the burger, but I had to order a couple of them to go. I must say that they definitely did their homework in creating an atmosphere of combining several top list dishes in one location. Premium meats from Harris Ranch (one of the 2 top meats that I prefer), smoked BBQ, pizza, and beer and wine all under one roof.

We've been getting coupons in the mail for this place and finally decided to give it a try tonight. We are so glad we did! I got the classic funburger meal. My husband got the 3 brisket tacos. We also ordered the garlic Parm crispy wings to share. My Burger was simple but perfect. The fries that came with it were a crispy-seasoned type of fry. The bun was soft and the Fries were hot/fresh. Loved it. Unfortunately they ran out of brisket for the brisket tacos. They asked if we would be okay with tri-tip instead. My husband agreed, But he wasn't a fan of the tacos. But the star of the show were definitely the crispy garlic Parm chicken wings! They were flavorful, crispy, hot And very meaty. It was a nice evening and we decided to sit On the patio. I love where this place is located because the patio was quiet. There isn't a lot of traffic, And We had a clear view to the big gigantic TV inside. When we went to check out, We noticed a large selection of beers. We also were able to appreciate the inside of the establishment a little bit more. We told our server that this was our first time here. She was very sweet and pointed out a few things including the game room. The game room has foosball, air hockey, and a variety of arcade games. I can't wait to bring some friends here. I'm excited to try some other chicken wing flavors and some of the other burgers

Funburger is great especially if you're going with a bigger group - this place is huge! They have so much seating and entertainment (arcade, bar, and large screens for viewing sports games) and a lot of different options on their menu so there's something for everyone (including kids!). The mac n cheese was my favorite and our entrees were well seasoned. Loved the corn on the brisket tacos. Meat was on the drier side so I recommend asking for extra sauce. Churro bites were very crispy but that's how I prefer them so I was happy about it! Overall the staff was super friendly, but service is slow. It's a big space and not that many employees. We still enjoyed our experience. Thank you, Funburger!

Funburger was kind of fun but not our favorite of similar places. We're vegetarians so always excitded and appreciative when a burger restaurant offers an option for us. Funburger has a Beyond patty available, so we were in! My wife had the Beyond Fun Burger with a gluten free bun. (Thus ticking all of her boxes.) I had the BBQ Fun Burger (with a Beyond Patty). Both were good. The fries were not great..coated (which we don't like) and definitely overcooked. I liked that there were plenty of different kinds of beer options on draft. They've got a ton of things on their menu...maybe too much...pizzas, ribs...all kinds of things beyond what you'd expect from a burger place...that may be appealing to some but gave me the impression a little bit like they're just throwing everything at the wall to see what sticks...the atmosphere and design of the dining rooms was a little all over the place too...a kind of sad, very minimal, arcade set up in one of the rooms. All in all a little too brightly lit. The service was okay...the staff was friendly enough but also young and you get the sense (especially if you're getting all crazy and ordering vegetarian patty's on burgers or doing anything out of the box) that it's not quite what they're used to and it takes a little extra time and questions to make sure they've got down what you want. There are a lot of other places in the SCV to get vegetarian burgers...most feel a little nicer and there was nothing particularly unique about Funburger that would have it edge itself out over the other available choices nearby.

Loveeeee this spot. The bbq smell hits you as soon as you open the door *heart emoji*. The customer service was outstanding, with staff being incredibly attentive and friendly. Special kudos to the young man (didn't get his name but he's Hispanic and has a rad nose piercing) who provided exemplary service despite the busy Friday night rush. I ordered the BBQ Fun Burger and fries, along with the Cali Burger and onion rings upon the staff's recommendation. The burgers were generously portioned; I could only finish half. Both the fries and onion rings had that perfect, crispy ASMR crunch. I look forward to returning to try their margaritas and shakes!

Reviewers were tough on Funburger and I get it if the restaurant is not consistent with the quality of food and service, but the day I went I was very impressed. The Fun Burger Cheese Bomb was the BOMB! The meat was super tasty, moist, cooked perfectly and did I say delicious? I think this was a 1/3 pound burger. The produce was fresh and I believe their sauce is 1000 island dressing. I'd definitely put this on my going to get it again list. Only $12 Those chili cheese fries were absolutely remarkable with a generous amount of chili and cheese. They didn't hold back on the toppings. The fries were crispy, so you had time to eat it without it getting soggy. $8 Definitely have to try that root beer float. They use soft serve ice cream so it definitely has a different flavor than your typical root beer float. I believe that was only $7. FYI, came here at 8 PM on a weekday when no one was here. Service, cleanliness, and the food were excellent! This place is not expensive. Food prices have reason, so expect to pay more than you did during the pandemic. For the value, deliciousness, service, and cleanliness I'd come back here again. Note: I rounded my rating up. I would give it a 4.5.

What a cool spot! Very fun, sportsy decor inside with several tv's streaming all kinds of sports and in the case of our timing the Olympics. Plus, there's a sweet game room in the back! The menu has a large selection and a great vegan burger. The staff really made our experience though. Jenn was super friendly and helpful, suggesting great options for my indecisive fiancé haha as well as pouring us some of the local rotating beers on draft. You're in for a good experience going here!

What a fun space! Funburger is a great spot to watch a game or have your next group gathering. They have TONS of menu options from bbq tacos, chili cheese fries, brussel sprouts, classic burgers, tortilla soup, mashed potatoes and more. My favorite dishes were the chili cheese fries and the burger. The burger meat was so delicious (rivaled In and Out) and the crispiness of the fries and the melty warm cheese was just perfect. They have TVs to watch sports and a huge tap list if you are a beer fan. When speaking with the owner, he said many local schools and other organizations host their gatherings here in their private event space. The event space also has lots of quarter play arcade games and pinball. I think Funburger would be such a great spot for a boys night out or even a family dinner. You can really tell the care they put into their food by the quality. Our waitress was also such a sweetheart! She made sure we had refills whenever we needed them and brought our food out promptly when it was hot and ready. Highly recommend swinging by if you are in the area!

Food was good. However I was not given credit for a $5.00 coupon. I ordered an individual pizza and a lemonade. The total was $11.76 with the coupon discount plus a tip (I think it was $2.00). I signed the receipt, took it home and put the amount ($11.76) in my check register. The next day I discovered the debit, dated 4-10-24, was $20.51. I was cheated out of at least $9.00. Since I did not keep the receipt I figured such would not be honored. Thus I am warning customers to check your receipt and then check what was debited. read more

The burgers and fries are good, the problem is that we arrived around 11:15 on a week day and still had to wait (I felt) too long for our food. The other issue is that, compared to other burger restaurants in our valley, the prices are to high. I guess if you want a good beer than come here but I'm not a beer drinker so I'll be going elsewhere read more

I love the bbq salad and the mushroom fries and the fries... for some reason it is way different from other burger place. i would return there for there fries, and mushroom fries. read more

Chicken Sandwich is a must-have. 10/10 Fried mushrooms 10/10 Customer service 10/10. I went on Friday evening, and it was a busy night. The cashier was patient while we asked questions about the menu and beer. When we got our food, the service was good; the server asked if we needed anything else and brought the extra stuff fast. Our first time here. They call it a beer bar. Their menu has a lot of choices. Many burgers and salads. The place is nicely laid out and clean. They have a huge selection of beer. We shared the Chinese chicken salad and the original burger combo. T We both liked the burger, nice bun to meat ratio. It wasn't huge but still a good size. The fries were good and they have some kind of coating. The Chinese chicken salad left much to be desired. The lettuce and Napa cabbage was nice. The chicken was all white meat. There was plenty of chicken and also some crispy won ton noodles. Now for the bad part: We all know it's all about the dressing, and that's where they failed miserably. The dressing was mostly made of oil and didn't have much vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, honey or Chinese mustard. It was very bland, not a lot of flavor, and we wouldn't order it again. They may want to consider filling the catsup containers BEFORE they open each day, as the one on our table was empty and we needed to steal one from another table. read more

I came to eat tonight to enjoy the dodger game and the restaurant setting and environment needs major improvements. There was not enough front of the restaurant staff. They do not have a Busser or a runner to send out the food on time. The tables can be left with dishes for hours on end. And you can see customers asking for their food that their wait time has been over an hour. The owners need to hire more staff and not hiring young people who don't know how to work. They need to pay the staff more money to have a better performance. The bathroom in the men's bathroom has not been fixed and it leaks water all day long with no maintenance. Very disappointing it could be better if the owners put better care and money in their restaurant. They shouldn't have customers doing the employees job by picking up tables and mopping the dirty floor coming from the men's bathroom. They need to hire a mid day and night manager to run the front of the restaurant. read more

We came here to have some food and drinks while watching a game. The big screen tv on the main floor was pretty amazing and served it's purpose. The beers on tap were good but needed a little more variety for those of us who like lagers or pilsners. The food was actually pretty delicious. My only complaint is that I preferred a lettuce wrapped burger and it was too small. I needed more protein since I couldn't have anything else. Nevertheless everyone liked their food and we were all happy. Chili cheese fries were good as well as the wings and turkey burgers. The set up it's interesting and could be changed but I don't mind getting up to get more drinks so it wasn't too big of a deal to me. The people were all nice. There was one girl who needed to work on her stress level display. She kept making mistakes and saying things out loud making us feel like we were stressing her out and uncomfortable. John my man!! Thanks for your hustle. When everyone else forgot about us you came through The Cali was ordered well done came out pink. Thanks for running it back to the kitchen twice because they forgot about the cheese.. We had also ordered some mushroom fries which they ran out of and the first server said he would put in an order for green beans that were forgotten about.. Again John came out quickly with a steaming hot order after I reminded him. He apologized and comped us 2 slices of cheesecake. The 4 and 3 star reviews I've read are truthful, therefore give them a shot when they aren't so busy. Basically, avoid lunch and dinner. A lobby attendant to tend to the lobby at all times would be a good idea. The tables should be wiped down and the floors are a bit messy. But overall when they got the Cali burger right it was definitely delicious. The green bean fries were also delicious accompanied by the ranch, great seasoning and taste. Will come back. Even though the Santa Clarita location has only been open a week, they had their stuff together. We had the Signature Burger with American Cheese. (You had a choice of 4 cheeses to choose from) For the sides we had the Triple Fun Fries (Fun Fries, Sweet Potato Fries and Onion Rings) which were great and we had the Avocado Fries that were phenomenal. The staff was friendly, efficient and professional. We are definitely going back. read more

TBH I came here for the beer. My buddy said they had a crazy big tap wall with rare selections so I went in. I got a flight and knew I wanted to do all IPA's. They had so many I didn't know where to start. The bartender really knew their beers, right down to food pairings and brew styles. I ended up getting a second flight because there were so many I wanted to try. read more

When I walked into FunBurger I was greeted by the nicest young girl! She was very helpful in letting us sample some of the beers! She stated that there over 40 different beers to choose from and that they have rotating kegs! Wow!! I decided on an a vanilla nitro beer! Yum! I ordered a bbq chicken salad and my friend went for the Caliburger! We also got the garlic parm fries and some fried mushrooms! The food was amazing salad was huge! Fries and mushrooms were great! Burger was also massive and Chipotle sauce was amazing! I did ask for a side of chipotle sauce to dip my fries in! So glad we have a locally owned place for burgers and I will for sure be back! read more

The burger was packed unprofessionally and one of them was missing lettuce, tomatoes and onions. The waiting time takes about an hour just to get a 2 burgers to go. I don't recommend this restaurant. read more

Sooooo good!!! Went here last week and can't stop thinking about it, friendly staff and great food! I hope this place brings more traffic into this side of the shopping center because there's sooooo many diverse and delicious food options neighboring this spot as well! First Time at Funburger and now i know why they call it Funburger, lots of tv's to watch sports or events, an Arcade room for kids to play in , friendly staff and fresh Harris ranch patties. pricing is surprisingly good and the portions are good size as well, family friendly and lots of seats, Absolutely the best burgers in santa clarita. This was my first time here and I was quite disappointed. It was very busy when we arrived, which we took as a good sign. There was only one cashier/bartender, so when the customers in front of us decided to taste test several beers before they made a choice, we had to wait through that process before we could order. Once we got to order, the process was fine. We were given a table number (which matched the number on our receipt). We waited a reasonable amount of time when a waiter approached us with 4 meals and fries. There were only 2 of us, so we indicated that it wasn't our order. The food order had the same table number as our receipt. Unfortunately, my husband had already touched the food on his plate, attempting to verify if it was the right item. The waiter took the food back and we saw him serve it to another table, eventually. He returned and asked for our receipt. He advised us that he needed some time to figure out what had happened. After another wait, he came back and told us he had fixed the problem, and our food would be out soon. It wasn't. Eventually, we had to ask for it to go, as we were out of time to dine in. Once we received the correct order, we left. Wish I'd taken a bite of my burger before we left, because it was raw inside. Yuck. I'm not a fan of steak tartare, so it was not edible. While the server was apologetic, nothing besides eventually getting our food order prepared was offered to compensate for our unfortunate experience. For the above average burger prices, we expected more. read more

I bought the mini miny moe box which contains 6 mini burgers, friend chicken with your choice of rub or sauce, choice of sides either sweet potato fries or onion rings. The choice of the burgers or chicken burgers are great. So far this combo, you can select 2 varieties. The food is delicious on their menu, and I wanted to buy all. But I think I made the right choice for the family to try. I would this box was $50, and it was a steal, cheaper and all were delicious. Better deal than going to a fast food restaurant. Menu is 5/5. Ambiance is still the same, clean organized and spacious. Customer service are all outstanding, very polite and professional. They cooked my burgers and other food to perfection - just right! I think I waited around 15 minutes, and they were pretty quick. Love it! 5/5. I brought the burgers, chicken wings and onion rings in my trusted bag, perfect fit. Drove and brought it home safely. The atmosphere is great, festive and uplifting. The décor was cool and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I had this place bookmarked since I noticed their "coming soon" banner. Pretty good menu. Good selection of burgers, sandwiches, salads, appetizers, etc. They have a huge list of craft beers on tap, including some hard to find ones. (A beer lovers dream come true). We each had their Signature Fun Burger! Talk about a dream burger! One bite and I was in heaven. I have to say the burger was very good and really tasty. The quality of the meat (Angus beef) and their signature spices made this burger ONE of the best burgers that I had eaten in my entire life. Their fries were bomb! I'm honestly not a big fan of burgers but I have come to listen to my body and I now know that when I'm really crazing something, it's my body telling me that I need it. For instance, if I'm really wanting water (which I'm guilty of not drinking enough of), I know that I'm dehydrated and need it. Same with meat- I rarely eat it, therefore, I just need the protein/iron. I'm chronically and severely anemic so it makes sense. Anyway, I really wanted a burger but I definitely didn't want a burger from a fast food place. I started my research on here and decided to try it even though no one I knew personally has had it. I'm glad I did!!! I ordered it online and then called the location to make sure they received it and asked to make sure it was put through correctly. The customer service was great, and the burger literally was the best burger that I have EVER had. In my opinion, it's better than in-n-out or Bobs Big Boy (and that's saying a lot). The food at ((FUNBURGER)) is exceptionally Very tasty and well prepared and you can chose among many menu options. What an awesome spot to sit back, play some arcade games, and enjoy the football game! My husband and I came for the first time and we will definitely be back! The food was great, I got the original Fun Burger with fries and my husband got the Grown Up Grill Cheese sandwich. The meat on my burger was cooked perfectly and the battered fries, known as the Fun Fries, were crispy and delicious. The staff was super friendly and were very attentive, even asked us if there was anything they could improve but our experience was great. The place is very clean and a great spot for family with small kids. Can't wait to come back to play some more Pac-Man and enjoy another burger! Thank you guys for taking care of us! I stopped by here yesterday to grab lunch. I came right when they open to avoid any lines. I found parking easily in the front of this place. When I walked inside, I was there first customer. I went with their Fun Smash burger combo with everything on the burger. While I was waiting for my order to be ready, I walked around the place and it seems like a nice place to watch sports or play games. It's pretty spacious inside and they also have outdoor seating as well. My food took about 10 minutes to be ready and I took it to eat across the street since my wife wanted to eat something else. I thought the Smash burger was good but the fries were not my favorite. If I was to come back, I would try their Tri tip bbq. read more

I follow a strict vegan diet and I heard on my FB group that this place had vegan options. I figured it would be a good compromise on date night with my meat-eating hubby. I was actually impressed. They had a beyond burger which is pretty common these days but what i really liked was their veggie burger. The patty was full of flavor and it was topped with mushrooms, cucumbers, avocado and lots of other produce. It was on a wheat bun and they even have vegan mayo. I asked for vegan cheese which they actually had and even vegan ranch. Imagine my surprise when I saw a vegan ice cream shake with dairy-free plant based whipped cream and even collagen free sprinkles!!! Wow! blown away. read more

I came here last week during my lunch break with my co-workers. We work just across the street. When we walked in we were greeted immediately and the lady at the bar asked us if we needed any recommendation or had questions. I wanted some modifications on my burger and they were happy to oblige. Our food came out pretty quick, it was hot and delicious. I got the Cali fun but swapped out the spicy sauce for the fun sauce and added grilled onions and sauteed mushrooms. Sooooo good! The portions were huge. My friend and I split a strawberry shake and it tasted like there were real pieces of strawberries blended in. Not too sweet but just perfect. We will be back. read more

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Fun Burger and I can honestly say it was one of the best meals I've ever had. The food was absolutely delicious, with their signature avocado fries being a particular standout. They also have a large selection of drafts beers , and wine . The customer service was also top notch; the staff were friendly and attentive, making sure that all our needs were taken care of. I have been in the customer service business for 25 yrs and I need to give Recognition to a lady named Lauren that works at fun Burger on cinema drive. She was truly top notch, acknowledge every guess that came in and every guess that left, she thank them for coming. You don't find that too often today. I am so grateful for her and the other folks that work there. it's so nice to see that and I want to thank you Lauren.. Went here after church this morning. Mom gets coupons in the mail for Funburger so we come, and we enjoy the food. It's good quality burgers and their fries are really good! I recommend the garlic Parmesan fries! I really like that they have a refill station for fountain drinks. They just opened up the back game room and I got to check it out and they have arcade games in the back. They have some games that you can play for free like galaxian and Donkey Kong. This is a fun place to enjoy burgers, watch a game and get rowdy with friends. read more

100% will be back! Had dinner with my two sons ( 15yrs and 12yrs )after some haircuts. They loved it. TVs ( I can't think of a better jumbo tv I've seen - amazing for sports) and video games are awesome! order at the counter and food comes to you set-up.... I like that! Food was great! We had the signature burgers and chicken sandwich. Sweet potato fries and avocado fries are excellent ( and you get bunch - I was stuffed because I couldn't stop eating them) Great selection of milkshakes and beers too! First time at Fun Burger and now I know why it's called fun burger! So much to do plenty of tv's, mini claw machines and back in the day arcade games. Oh and the staff extremely sweet it felt like home. Very patient and understanding. No bad vibes all good! I'll definitely be coming back. Please!!!! Check this place out you won't regret it. Pricing is surprisingly good and the portions are huge! Ugh I can go on and on about this place! Kid friendly and a lot of seats. Absolutely the best burger spots in Santa Clarita. read more

We went there last night around 7 pm. I had the original with cheese and avocado fries. The burger was flavorful and juicy Avocado fries with ranch tasted amazing. My wife had the chick fun spicy and regular fries. She loved the sandwich and her fries We also got two flight of beer. Not a big beer drinker but we couldn't resist the huge beer wall. Overall the place is pretty nice and one well. Service was a bit slow but understandable since they were pretty busy at the time. read more
