Smash burger with brisket and onion rings.

Ashley B.

There was a yelp elite event here a few months ago that I missed, but I have since had it bookmarked and finally made it out today. Not crowded on a Saturday around 2:45pm. This place smells like delicious BBQ the second you open the door. Initially I wanted a burger, but after much internal debate, I settled on the tri tip with a side of Mac and cheese. Tri tip was tender and flavorful. Smoky with a sweet and smoky bbq sauce (I asked for extra). The Mac and cheese was perfectly gooey and had good flavor. The garlic toast that came with the meal was also very good. My husband got a smash burger with brisket and onion rings on it and it was great. Cooked well and flavorful. The fries were good but nothing special. Overall, a great experience. We don't live nearby but will definitely return when in the area. I want to try the chicken wings and the ribs!

My SO wanted to try this place because I have been raving how good the food is. I came here before for a Yelp Elite event and I was impressed with how much food there was. And how delicious it was. Food Tri - tip with Mac and Cheese, Garlic Toast, and Tortilla Soup Brisket with Mashed Potato, Garlic Toast, and Tortilla Soup The meats were tender and savory. I like my Tri - tip but I like the Brisket better. I would definitely recommend it for the price and the texture too. The place was getting packed when we came but we were able to get a table. Our server kept on checking us but it could use a little more of a vibrant attitude. One big TV on the wall and pretty good size ones all around showing a ball game. Lively music playing on the background.

What a fun night filled with savory hearty food and hey! Dodgers won the World Series! From top to bottom, all the food offering at Funburger & BBQ were so delicious. This was a really great night and we all left very full and satisfied! We had the Tri-tip, baby back ribs, BBQ chicken, and brisket. These guys know their BBQ and everything tasted delicious without being overly heavy or too overdone. My favorite has to be the Tri-tip and the BBQ chicken, although it's easy to say that the real MVP is the BBQ sauce. Just enough sweetness to make anything you pour it on taste even better. And of the sides, the Brussel Sprouts and pesto pasta are the big winners. Just cooked and seasoned to perfection. Even the mashed potatoes was special. It's almost has a cheesiness quality that I thought it may be Mac and cheese. It just compliments the proteins very well. If there are any weaker dishes, they would be the brisket (need a bit more seasoning) and the garlic bread (not garlicky enough), but they are minor setbacks. And to top if off, the Dodgers won the World Series, so it was a cap to a fantastic night!

Large parking lot Reasonable price Fresh quality food Dine in or out available Kids menu Great service A really fun place for the family and kids or a place for friends to kick it at. Lots of beer options. Huge space with even bigger tv's!! The food was delicious from the brisket tacos , to the burgers everything was amazing !

First time here, and it smells delicious. I'm not even inside yet. OMG, amazingly delicious!!! I arrived at the location 15 minutes before they opened and must say they were already preparing food. While taking a picture of the front entrance, I could already smell the smoked BBQ. As I entered the restaurant, the intensity of the BBQ aroma grew even more. I had mentioned that I had seen this huge BBQ burger on IG. The gentleman mentioned it was called the Ken & Joe's Spoke Wheel Funburger. I ordered that with a side of beer battered onion rings and a coke. I must say the burger itself is huge. It is also a must try and delicious. This is a very good thing as well as a bad thing in a great way. This burger has completely taken risen to the top of my favorite burgers of all time. It's a bit of a drive, but it so worth it! The burger itself is a Smashburger topped with smoked brisket, a beer battered onion ring, pepper jack cheese, jalapeno, red hot pepper relish, spicy BBQ, on a toasted garlic butter ciabatta bread (also a portion of the proceeds donated to St. Jude's Hospital). Not only was I not able to finish the burger, but I had to order a couple of them to go. I must say that they definitely did their homework in creating an atmosphere of combining several top list dishes in one location. Premium meats from Harris Ranch (one of the 2 top meats that I prefer), smoked BBQ, pizza, and beer and wine all under one roof.

We've been getting coupons in the mail for this place and finally decided to give it a try tonight. We are so glad we did! I got the classic funburger meal. My husband got the 3 brisket tacos. We also ordered the garlic Parm crispy wings to share. My Burger was simple but perfect. The fries that came with it were a crispy-seasoned type of fry. The bun was soft and the Fries were hot/fresh. Loved it. Unfortunately they ran out of brisket for the brisket tacos. They asked if we would be okay with tri-tip instead. My husband agreed, But he wasn't a fan of the tacos. But the star of the show were definitely the crispy garlic Parm chicken wings! They were flavorful, crispy, hot And very meaty. It was a nice evening and we decided to sit On the patio. I love where this place is located because the patio was quiet. There isn't a lot of traffic, And We had a clear view to the big gigantic TV inside. When we went to check out, We noticed a large selection of beers. We also were able to appreciate the inside of the establishment a little bit more. We told our server that this was our first time here. She was very sweet and pointed out a few things including the game room. The game room has foosball, air hockey, and a variety of arcade games. I can't wait to bring some friends here. I'm excited to try some other chicken wing flavors and some of the other burgers

Funburger is great especially if you're going with a bigger group - this place is huge! They have so much seating and entertainment (arcade, bar, and large screens for viewing sports games) and a lot of different options on their menu so there's something for everyone (including kids!). The mac n cheese was my favorite and our entrees were well seasoned. Loved the corn on the brisket tacos. Meat was on the drier side so I recommend asking for extra sauce. Churro bites were very crispy but that's how I prefer them so I was happy about it! Overall the staff was super friendly, but service is slow. It's a big space and not that many employees. We still enjoyed our experience. Thank you, Funburger!

Funburger was kind of fun but not our favorite of similar places. We're vegetarians so always excitded and appreciative when a burger restaurant offers an option for us. Funburger has a Beyond patty available, so we were in! My wife had the Beyond Fun Burger with a gluten free bun. (Thus ticking all of her boxes.) I had the BBQ Fun Burger (with a Beyond Patty). Both were good. The fries were not great..coated (which we don't like) and definitely overcooked. I liked that there were plenty of different kinds of beer options on draft. They've got a ton of things on their menu...maybe too much...pizzas, ribs...all kinds of things beyond what you'd expect from a burger place...that may be appealing to some but gave me the impression a little bit like they're just throwing everything at the wall to see what sticks...the atmosphere and design of the dining rooms was a little all over the place too...a kind of sad, very minimal, arcade set up in one of the rooms. All in all a little too brightly lit. The service was okay...the staff was friendly enough but also young and you get the sense (especially if you're getting all crazy and ordering vegetarian patty's on burgers or doing anything out of the box) that it's not quite what they're used to and it takes a little extra time and questions to make sure they've got down what you want. There are a lot of other places in the SCV to get vegetarian burgers...most feel a little nicer and there was nothing particularly unique about Funburger that would have it edge itself out over the other available choices nearby.

Reviewers were tough on Funburger and I get it if the restaurant is not consistent with the quality of food and service, but the day I went I was very impressed. The Fun Burger Cheese Bomb was the BOMB! The meat was super tasty, moist, cooked perfectly and did I say delicious? I think this was a 1/3 pound burger. The produce was fresh and I believe their sauce is 1000 island dressing. I'd definitely put this on my going to get it again list. Only $12 Those chili cheese fries were absolutely remarkable with a generous amount of chili and cheese. They didn't hold back on the toppings. The fries were crispy, so you had time to eat it without it getting soggy. $8 Definitely have to try that root beer float. They use soft serve ice cream so it definitely has a different flavor than your typical root beer float. I believe that was only $7. FYI, came here at 8 PM on a weekday when no one was here. Service, cleanliness, and the food were excellent! This place is not expensive. Food prices have reason, so expect to pay more than you did during the pandemic. For the value, deliciousness, service, and cleanliness I'd come back here again. Note: I rounded my rating up. I would give it a 4.5.

Loveeeee this spot. The bbq smell hits you as soon as you open the door *heart emoji*. The customer service was outstanding, with staff being incredibly attentive and friendly. Special kudos to the young man (didn't get his name but he's Hispanic and has a rad nose piercing) who provided exemplary service despite the busy Friday night rush. I ordered the BBQ Fun Burger and fries, along with the Cali Burger and onion rings upon the staff's recommendation. The burgers were generously portioned; I could only finish half. Both the fries and onion rings had that perfect, crispy ASMR crunch. I look forward to returning to try their margaritas and shakes!

Trey R.

What a cool spot! Very fun, sportsy decor inside with several tv's streaming all kinds of sports and in the case of our timing the Olympics. Plus, there's a sweet game room in the back! The menu has a large selection and a great vegan burger. The staff really made our experience though. Jenn was super friendly and helpful, suggesting great options for my indecisive fiancé haha as well as pouring us some of the local rotating beers on draft. You're in for a good experience going here!

I was initially excited to visit this place after seeing all the hype on social media. I was very disappointed to say the least, ugh where to begin. Upon arrival it was confusing weather to sit at a table or order form the counter. There should be some kind of visual indication to order before having a seat. We figured it out the hard way after about 2 minutes of pondering without assistance from the staff. The order was placed and a number was given. The highlight of the night was the flight of beers that I enjoyed before the disaster that was to come. First the table was dirty, we had to wipe it down ourselves. The condiment bottles were empty , ketchup, hot sauce and mustard. The napkin dispenser was empty and the table was uneven. I started to look around at all the other parties and noticed the same thing, folks were walking around looking for napkins. Then the food arrived, first the onion rings and green beans came out. Both were severely overcooked and saturated with oil.The sides of ranch that accompanied the food completely watered down and runny. I was hoping that the two burgers would redeem the mediocre appetizers , boy was I wrong! The signature burgers was supposed to be the crown jewel of the menu but it was more like the microwaved White Castle burger from Costco. The patty was very undercooked and soggy, the lettuce and fixings were drenched in water or something that made the burger fall apart after one bite. The cali burger was just as bad, undercooked and soggy. I should of listened to my instincts and went to Red Robin.

JoAnna S.

As you walk through the door you feel like your at a Chucky Cheese or a nostalgic burger stand. My neighbor raved about this restaurant so I promised to check it out You walk in and you instantly are put into a good mood. It's decorated so fun and there are different areas within this restaurant. One side is sports bar with big screens. Another part is for gamers. Another is for those that want to sit and eat and enjoy. The bathrooms are fairly clean and the rest of the restaurant is very clean. They have women and men bathrooms which I like because the smell and look of a urinal makes me sick. People of all ages go there and it is very diverse. The food is so good.Everyone there enjoyed themselves. It was fun!

Food was good. However I was not given credit for a $5.00 coupon. I ordered an individual pizza and a lemonade. The total was $11.76 with the coupon discount plus a tip (I think it was $2.00). I signed the receipt, took it home and put the amount ($11.76) in my check register. The next day I discovered the debit, dated 4-10-24, was $20.51. I was cheated out of at least $9.00. Since I did not keep the receipt I figured such would not be honored. Thus I am warning customers to check your receipt and then check what was debited. read more

The burgers and fries are good, the problem is that we arrived around 11:15 on a week day and still had to wait (I felt) too long for our food. The other issue is that, compared to other burger restaurants in our valley, the prices are to high. I guess if you want a good beer than come here but I'm not a beer drinker so I'll be going elsewhere read more

Our first time here. They call it a beer bar. Their menu has a lot of choices. Many burgers and salads. The place is nicely laid out and clean. They have a huge selection of beer. We shared the Chinese chicken salad and the original burger combo. T We both liked the burger, nice bun to meat ratio. It wasn't huge but still a good size. The fries were good and they have some kind of coating. The Chinese chicken salad left much to be desired. The lettuce and Napa cabbage was nice. The chicken was all white meat. There was plenty of chicken and also some crispy won ton noodles. Now for the bad part: We all know it's all about the dressing, and that's where they failed miserably. The dressing was mostly made of oil and didn't have much vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, honey or Chinese mustard. It was very bland, not a lot of flavor, and we wouldn't order it again. They may want to consider filling the catsup containers BEFORE they open each day, as the one on our table was empty and we needed to steal one from another table. read more

We came here to have some food and drinks while watching a game. The big screen tv on the main floor was pretty amazing and served it's purpose. The beers on tap were good but needed a little more variety for those of us who like lagers or pilsners. The food was actually pretty delicious. My only complaint is that I preferred a lettuce wrapped burger and it was too small. I needed more protein since I couldn't have anything else. Nevertheless everyone liked their food and we were all happy. Chili cheese fries were good as well as the wings and turkey burgers. The set up it's interesting and could be changed but I don't mind getting up to get more drinks so it wasn't too big of a deal to me. The people were all nice. There was one girl who needed to work on her stress level display. She kept making mistakes and saying things out loud making us feel like we were stressing her out and uncomfortable. I would just be careful with that. read more

John my man!! Thanks for your hustle. When everyone else forgot about us you came through The Cali was ordered well done came out pink. Thanks for running it back to the kitchen twice because they forgot about the cheese.. We had also ordered some mushroom fries which they ran out of and the first server said he would put in an order for green beans that were forgotten about.. Again John came out quickly with a steaming hot order after I reminded him. He apologized and comped us 2 slices of cheesecake. The 4 and 3 star reviews I've read are truthful, therefore give them a shot when they aren't so busy. Basically, avoid lunch and dinner. A lobby attendant to tend to the lobby at all times would be a good idea. The tables should be wiped down and the floors are a bit messy. But overall when they got the Cali burger right it was definitely delicious. The green bean fries were also delicious accompanied by the ranch, great seasoning and taste. Will come back. Hope you guys success at this this location. read more

I came to eat tonight to enjoy the dodger game and the restaurant setting and environment needs major improvements. There was not enough front of the restaurant staff. They do not have a Busser or a runner to send out the food on time. The tables can be left with dishes for hours on end. And you can see customers asking for their food that their wait time has been over an hour. The owners need to hire more staff and not hiring young people who don't know how to work. They need to pay the staff more money to have a better performance. The bathroom in the men's bathroom has not been fixed and it leaks water all day long with no maintenance. Very disappointing it could be better if the owners put better care and money in their restaurant. They shouldn't have customers doing the employees job by picking up tables and mopping the dirty floor coming from the men's bathroom. They need to hire a mid day and night manager to run the front of the restaurant. read more

There was only one cashier/bartender, so when the customers in front of us decided to taste test several beers before they made a choice, we had to wait through that process before we could order. Once we got to order, the process was fine. We were given a table number (which matched the number on our receipt). We waited a reasonable amount of time when a waiter approached us with 4 meals and fries. There were only 2 of us, so we indicated that it wasn't our order. The food order had the same table number as our receipt. Unfortunately, my husband had already touched the food on his plate, attempting to verify if it was the right item. The waiter took the food back and we saw him serve it to another table, eventually. He returned and asked for our receipt. He advised us that he needed some time to figure out what had happened. After another wait, he came back and told us he had fixed the problem, and our food would be out soon. It wasn't. Eventually, we had to ask for it to go, as we were out of time to dine in. Once we received the correct order, we left. Wish I'd taken a bite of my burger before we left, because it was raw inside. Yuck. I'm not a fan of steak tartare, so it was not edible. While the server was apologetic, nothing besides eventually getting our food order prepared was offered to compensate for our unfortunate experience. For the above average burger prices, we expected more. read more

Plenty of room to hunker down, spread out, group tables for your 10 besties, or belly up to the bar. We brought grub from Capriotti's, others had The Stand, and others grabbed some tacos outside. I really enjoy the freedom of a simple brewhouse allowing food. I think it improves the casual hang vibe a LOT! The taco tent, and I suppose the other rotating food vendors, set up in the cul-de-sac, about 50 yards away, not right outside. JUST OUTSIDE is plenty of free parking. I do not get the hyper the barbecue at all. We paid $60+ dollars for two plates and ended up feeling like it was definitely not worth it. It makes me upset because food trucks are always a risk of either being worth the price or not. The pulled pork from the 50-50 plate and brisket had no flavor. The meats are at least tender but they tasted weirdly chewy. The mac & cheese was very disappointing and seemed simple. The barbecue sauce needed to be doused on the meat to make sure there's some flavor. My boyfriend also got the tri-tip plate that is worth $30. The meat was more seasoned and spiced. But I did not like the taste of it. It was hard to finish this plate, even though it's barbecue and I love meat. The corn bread also was unsurprisingly not good. Overall didn't finish up our plates even with the pricing too, which shows just how lackluster our lunch was. Maybe it's better in the actual establishment, but that means the food truck needs to be consistent. The staff was friendly however.

2nd time here and wanted to bring burgers, onion rings and chicken for the family. Today is the best time to try this restaurant out. The mini burgers are a blast and everyone love it. I bought the mini miny moe box which contains 6 mini burgers, friend chicken with your choice of rub or sauce, choice of sides either sweet potato fries or onion rings. The choice of the burgers or chicken burgers are great. So far this combo, you can select 2 varieties. The food is delicious on their menu, and I wanted to buy all. But I think I made the right choice for the family to try. I would this box was $50, and it was a steal, cheaper and all were delicious. Better deal than going to a fast food restaurant. Menu is 5/5. Ambiance is still the same, clean organized and spacious. Customer service are all outstanding, very polite and professional. They cooked my burgers and other food to perfection - just right! I think I waited around 15 minutes, and they were pretty quick. Love it! 5/5. I brought the burgers, chicken wings and onion rings in my trusted bag, perfect fit. Drove and brought it home safely. My sister -in-law and brother waited for it for a long time. Ok, you eat your dinner. Let me take a nap! My sister-in-law, brother and mom loved it, even the onion rings and fried chicken were great! I will be coming for more, if we had a carving. I will try the fried cheesecake for dessert. read more

Where do I begin? This was our first time here and every single aspect of our Saturday afternoon here was awesome! This place is absolutely beautiful and worth the hype! The ambiance is everything! The atmosphere is great, festive and uplifting. The décor was cool and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I had this place bookmarked since I noticed their "coming soon" banner. Pretty good menu. Good selection of burgers, sandwiches, salads, appetizers, etc. They have a huge list of craft beers on tap, including some hard to find ones. (A beer lovers dream come true). We each had their Signature Fun Burger! Talk about a dream burger! One bite and I was in heaven. I have to say the burger was very good and really tasty. The quality of the meat (Angus beef) and their signature spices made this burger ONE of the best burgers that I had eaten in my entire life. Their fries were bomb! Let me put it this way, I ended up taking one more burger to go. Everyone around us seemed to be enjoying their food and having a great time. The staff was nice and welcoming although it was a such busy day for them. All in all, we will definitely be returning to the FunBurger. It's well worth the visit. See you soon FunBurger! read more

I recently dined at Fun Burger, and I can't express how fantastic our experience was. This family-friendly burger joint is a true gem, offering something for everyone. The combination of delicious food, a lively arcade, cold beer, and a giant TV for football games makes it an ideal spot for both families and sports enthusiasts. The highlight of my visit was the Cali Fun burger, which was an absolute delight. The fresh avocado and crispy bacon added a delightful twist to the classic burger, creating a mouthwatering sensation. My kids devoured their chicken nuggets, and my wife was equally pleased with her BBQ chicken salad. It's rare to find a place where every member of the family leaves with smiles on their faces, but Fun Burger managed to achieve just that. Beyond the scrumptious food, the atmosphere at Fun Burger was outstanding. The arcade kept the kids entertained, while the giant TV screen made it a perfect destination for sports lovers. What's more, the selection of cold beers complemented the meal perfectly. The attentive and friendly staff made our dining experience even better. Fun Burger has earned every bit of its five stars, and I can't wait to return for another enjoyable meal. read more

Everything went well!, the place is kept clean and gives off a sports bar feel to the place. They have an adjacent room with additional tables and arcade games and table games like foosball, Air hockey and hoops, so your kids can have fun while you watch the games (currently the Olympic Games) on the various large screen TV along the walls, My server was friendly and professional and made me feel welcome. I asked her for her recommendation and she recommended their tri-tip plate, so I ordered that along with their side of Fries, the Tri-Tips were yummy, their fries were also good it was crispy yet not dry and it was slightly seasoned. I also ordered their Brisket sandwich to go (my dinner) expect to pay for the sandwich, when I asked for the bill, she told me that she put it as my 2nd meal since I came alone and the events covers me and a guest. So I just gave her a big tip. I would highly recommend this place, the neighborhood is in a good place, the atmosphere is family friendly , the service is friendly and professional. Food is yummy and reasonably priced. Try them out if you're in the Valencia area. read more

I'm honestly not a big fan of burgers but I have come to listen to my body and I now know that when I'm really crazing something, it's my body telling me that I need it. For instance, if I'm really wanting water (which I'm guilty of not drinking enough of), I know that I'm dehydrated and need it. Same with meat- I rarely eat it, therefore, I just need the protein/iron. I'm chronically and severely anemic so it makes sense. Anyway, I really wanted a burger but I definitely didn't want a burger from a fast food place. I started my research on here and decided to try it even though no one I knew personally has had it. I'm glad I did!!! I ordered it online and then called the location to make sure they received it and asked to make sure it was put through correctly. The customer service was great, and the burger literally was the best burger that I have EVER had. In my opinion, it's better than in-n-out or Bobs Big Boy (and that's saying a lot). I'm now addicted and more than likely will be the only burger that I'll look forward to eating again. If you haven't tried it- so yourself a favor and do so!! Yummmm read more

I stopped by here yesterday to grab lunch. I came right when they open to avoid any lines. I found parking easily in the front of this place. When I walked inside, I was there first customer. Overall, I had a fantastic time at Funburger and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and tasty meal. read more

We went there last night around 7 pm. I had the original with cheese and avocado fries. The burger was flavorful and juicy Avocado fries with ranch tasted amazing. My wife had the chick fun spicy and regular fries. She loved the sandwich and her fries We also got two flight of beer. Not a big beer drinker but we couldn't resist the huge beer wall. Overall the place is pretty nice and one well. Service was a bit slow but understandable since they were pretty busy at the time. read more

I stopped by to catch some playoff Dodgers baseball, a bourbon and some dinner. As always, I recommend ordering the Chef's Special. It's available until their inventory is depleted. Today the Special was Cod; not the fish and chips variety either but a full thick Cod steak.
