I purchased my Honda Shadow Spirit in 2007 from Fun Wheels. Very honest and fair. Bob & Gino have been servicing my bike (OK what does a Honda ever need LOL but oil changes & inspections ;)... oh yeah, if you should wreck your bike they will get it rebuilt for you, better than new! Looking for my first bike and wanted the reliability of a Honda. I was told I could have the 2024 NX500 that was new but 2 years old with a $500 rebate because of the year. when I asked the salesman how much a 2026 would be he said he wasn't sure but at least $500 more than the 2024 on the floor. The 2026 was given a $500 price reduction so it would have been the same as the 2024. He played stupid to try and get rid of the leftover. Trying to take advantage of the newbie didn't work because I did my research ahead of time. Wouldn't buy a thing from a place I can't trust. Going to give Crossbay in Bayshore a shot. Excellent reviews and a much larger stock. Would never recommend a shady business to anyone but my enemies. read more

I have been using fun wheels for years and very satisfied, have not gone anywhere else, so I can't comment on the prices but one thing I can say that the people that work there I find to be very nice and helpful. One negative comment I do have is I spent about $1100 in the Spring over there chain sprocket all stuff.... anyway, my complaint is that after spending all that money there in the spring, I went back to have my chain tightened and I was told it's $15. Do not buy anything from this place. I've purchased over 30 motorcycles and this is the worst experience ever by a long shot. The salesperson was constantly high on marijuana. He yelled at customers. I asked that my new bike be washed and a tender installed. He did neither. He told me that hey we're too busy to wash it. I called Honda to complain but I'm sure nothing will be done. This shop is the worst I've ever been to. Make an appt to drop off so they can get to it in 3 weeks. They don't have room for the bikes so they leave them in the rain all week, scratching them by moving them in and out every single day. The mechanics don't have a clue. Useless is an understatement. Swapped a motor for me and left out one of 3 motor to frame bolts. Failed to secure my fairings and I lost them on the expressway and they denied it. Had a tire changed and they never balanced it, yea seriously. Messed up the wiring to my power commander causing it to drain my battery when the bike is off. When I told them this, They told me to they'd remove it for me, after charging me $700 to buy it and install it. Saying power commanders aren't any good and no bikes have them anymore??? Donny is a scumbag lying pill head and I'll never be back. Cya dirtbags! read more

This is a great place to buy a motorcycle and an even better place to have it serviced. I found this shop in 2003 when I was looking to by a VTX 1300. I called around and got a "better" price at a now defunct dealership about 15 miles west. But when I got to the dealership, the "better" price somehow got a whole lot worse 100 dollars in labor to put stock saddlebags on the bike; dealer prep charges; I can't remember what else. So I went to Fun Wheels. Their quote was really a terrific deal, no extra charges, saddle bags put on for free and helmet and gloves (for me and my wife) thrown in for free. In 2007 I traded the VTX in for a CBR 600. They gave me a great trade in price. I also bought a Grom from them in 2015.. Always a great experience. The techs are terrific (not that Hondas need a whole lot of service). But Bob (who I'm guessing is the long haired hippy described in the clueless negative review) has been working on Hondas for most of his life. They will do work on most kinds of bikes. I've had them do stuff on two Ducatis and my Vespa. (Don, I think, is Ducati trained; and he owns a Grom, so he's the one to go to for Grom work and mods.) Their rates are reasonable and the repairs are always fast and reliable. Not to mention that (within reason) they let you inside the shop so you can actually see them do some of the work. The parts staff is also excellent. It's a small, family-run, friendly store and they don't have a huge selection of gear in stock, but they can and will order almost anything for you. I've bought several Arai helmets there at great prices, Icon helmets and boots, oil, filters, lights, accessories . . . pretty much everything. I'm a big fan of personal service. I won't go to a shop that won't let me see what they are doing. And I'm not buying a bike from some moron who his just going to sell me the bike that just makes them the biggest margin. Fun Wheels isn't like that. They are the real deal. Let's keep the small, service oriented businesses going! read more

I really like Fun Wheels. My Honda doesn't require a lot of service but this is where I have most of it done. I'm about ready to make my annual NYS inspection trip. The service guys are always nice, don't try to sell you crazy stuff. They have actually told me to hold off on something that I thought might be prudent because it wasn't needed yet. I have been doing business with Fun Wheels for more than 15 years. I have purchased ATVs from them, as well as used them for service and parts. I manager a large horse farm and so my ATV is a critical piece of work equipment. Not only are they excellent mechanics, this is the BEST business on LI for customer service. Definitely the right place to go. Good prices all around compared to any other shop I've been too. I've been a customer here for the last few weeks. I've gone in and out for parts and service for my bike and I am always treated with respect and never rushed out like other shop. they really make me feel like I'm part of the family. Customer service is better than 10/10, as well as the service and maintenance. This is a great shop if you want to buy any accessories, parts, or new vehicles. If they are doing any work on my bike, they are very quick to get it back to me in even better condition than I thought it would come out. All around, everybody in the shop deserves a round of applause, best shop around hands down. I think a big reason why you should pick Fun Wheels over any other shop is that they are a family owned/run business with more then fair prices who truly take pride in there work when you might not get that in other shops. Haven't had any service work done here beside mount a tire I brought in. Called ahead, was told to bring it down. When I got there the mechanic dropped what he was working had me out of the shop in 10 min. That was a plus. Great prices on oil and coolant and other reg. maintenance stuff.
