Ice cold beer served in a frosted glass

We had seen this place many times before when shopping in the general area. The name "Fun Pizza" always made me wonder what does that even mean? We didn't know we were missing out on a tasty experience. Once we were seated, we were quickly served a pitcher of water with no ice. We perused the menu which had many pizza choices, many with an Indian twist. Our food was served as each person's order was ready rather than all at the same time; not ideal but it was hot and fresh. The bread on my husband's tandoori chicken sandwich was crisp and delicious. It was served with a bag of Lays chips and it was big enough that he took half of it home. I had the Italian sandwich with the same delicious bread, bag of chips, and was large enough that I had to take half of it home. The beer was ice cold in a frozen glass- perfect. The garlic bread had lots of cheese but was a bit greasier than we would have liked; still delicious though. We felt the price was great at $9.99 a sandwich and beer for $3.99. My son enjoyed his meat lover's pizza although a little light on the toppings. This place is open late and will likely be one of our next choices for when we want something to eat late at night.

    Cheese pizza

This is a new establishment so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. Service was prompt, food is fresh made and quick, but overall bland and tasteless. We got a cheese pizza which had an odd cheese distribution and the sauce tasted store bought. The baked ziti was meh and tandoori chicken sandwich decent (very spicy and loaded with onions and peppers). With the name Fun Pizza Kitchen, you would imagine a festive and lively atmosphere. There are no games, arcade, or interactive experience you may expect.

I'd say my total time waiting to order was 5 minutes and my total time waiting for food was 10, even with how crowded it was. I ordered the White Chicken Parmesan. I've never had gluten free pasta before this and there was no strange taste or texture. The sauce was bright and very lemony. I will say the pasta was in oddly short pieces so don't expect to twirl your noodles on your fork! The chicken was well cooked and seasoned with a nice crust. The raw tomato addition didn't do too much for me but I didn't mind it overall. The soda fountain is an adorable tap that boasted drinks like cola, sparkling lemonade, cream soda, root beer and more. I'm not usually a fan of off brand cola but this one was great, if not a little watery for my taste. My pasta dish overall was $15.50, which was a great price for the amount I received. The plate was large and easily more than one portion. This is definitely one of the best "health food" places I've been to. Will definitely be back!

The Waygu burger and sweet potato fries is also amazing. Don't forget to check out their desserts - we love their carrot cake and chocolate cake. The inside and outside are both super cute. We had reservations but there was no major crowd at 5:30. The place is contemporary, white tiles, brass finishes. Fully stocked bar. Nice big windows. Started with a Rail District cocktail that was really good. Finished with a Last Word which had a strong licorice flavor (not my fav) but the cherry at the bottom was great! We split the SPREADABLE WHIPPED LEMON BASIL GOAT CHEESE. Loved this. But note to the Chef or food prep - the toast crackers had so many holes in the bread, there was NO surface for the spreadable. Pieces of toast were basically outer crust and the inner area of bread had 90% giant holes. It was comical. Whoever plated this should have been more selective. My wife had the Salmon and I had the steak. The steak had a large pad of delicious blue cheese and butter on top of it, that slowly melted over the steak and potatoes. That was special. Endive salad was pretty dry, very little dressing. So I mixed it in with the potatoes and cheese/butter.

We started with the buffalo deviled eggs, which were honestly a standout--creamy with just the right amount of kick and a fun twist on a classic. I also ordered a salad that had candied pecans, apples, and grapes, topped with chicken that was cooked absolutely perfectly--so tender and flavorful. It's one of those dishes that feels light but still really satisfying. The ambience is what really makes this place special. It's super cute and thoughtfully designed--fun wallpaper, cozy green sofas, and really stylish light fixtures that give it a warm, inviting vibe. You can tell a lot of intention went into the space. We had the chance to meet the owner, Amy, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming--it's always a good sign when the owner is that engaged. Our server was also fantastic--very attentive, kind, and made sure we were well taken care of the whole time. Location-wise, it's just off Main Street, kind of tucked away to the side, which makes it feel like a hidden gem. There's a great view, plus both indoor and outdoor seating, and the water tower right there adds a really charming touch. Since it's newly opened, I'm really hoping they do well--this place deserves it. I also heard they'll be expanding into the suite next door, which is exciting. I took a peek at their dinner and brunch menus, and I'll definitely be back to check those out soon. Such a cute spot with great food, great people, and a great vibe.
