I feel like our kids are all smiles here and truly look forward to going to get their hair done…read more The staff takes such great care of them and makes sure they're comfortable. They give them options of: where they would like to sit, how's the water temperature, what color of bows would they like, if they want to watch tv or play games, and if they would like their nails painted. Their haircut was really nice and styled well. At the end they do spray hair color or glitter in their hair. Next time we won't be doing the hair color, it does get on everything it comes in contact with afterwards. Thank you, kids are already wanting to come back.

From the moment we walked in, every bit of that anxiety disappeared. The team completely blew me away. They were so patient, kind, and genuinely talented. My girls' curls looked AMAZING--styled beautifully without overdoing it--and they made the entire experience feel special, not rushed. What really sealed it for me was how inclusive and fun they made everything. They even let my other daughter join in on the fun--nails painted, hair washed, giggles everywhere--and at the end they got to pick out the cutest little ring. My girls felt like absolute royalty. It was beyond adorable. Any girl mom will absolutely lose it here. Sharkey's turned what I thought would be a stressful appointment into a memory we'll talk about for a long time. We will 100% be back.

Last Friday, I Wanted to get my nails done and decided to come back here because the first time was…read morea success. Pam was my nail tech for a gel mani ($25) and a regular pedicure ($25). The pedicure was really relaxing and she applied the Polish well. It's been a week and nothing has chipped yet, except the Polish on one nail that was pretty much removed as she put my flip flops on immediately after painting them. The manicure, at least after the salon, wasn't the greatest experience however. I'm very happy with the way she shapped my nails!! The nails feel a bit uneven as the Polish is thicker is some areas. Two days after, I noticed the edges were starting to lift by the cuticles on 1 or 2 nails. I decided to ignore it. By Wednesday, almost all but two nails were lifting and some edges were ever so slightly chipping. I was a bit disappointed since their service here is a bit pricier than other places and I assumed their service would be consistent. It's annoying because the open edges keep getting caught when I do my hair. I called on Thursday (almost a week after) to ask know if they provide a guarantee on their gel Manis as many other salons do. She asked if it was chipping, which my nails aren't quite doing, and if so, they'll fix the nails that are chipping. I wasn't able to make my appointment to fix the "chips" because of work, but I hesitantly made another appointment with a different tech (my mom raved about her) to have another gel manicure (at cost ). The owner said that if I hadn't come back by Friday to get it fixed, I'll have to pay for a new service because it's past the 1 week mark. I'll update my review this week once I go back.

Sone, the Owner said at 1:30pm that day and it starts at $55 depending on length and she's charging $5 more because of the pandemic. When I arrived, I asked again if she can do a permanent wave... she said "YES", but she also said for my hair she can only do a spiral perm for $85. I wasn't sure what it was exactly so I even asked if the curls would be big and she said "YES". (My hair is straight and down to my underarm). I agreed thinking she knew what she's talking about. We had small talk earlier so she seemed pleasant but when she took me to the sink to rinse and put another chemical in my hair it seemed she stopped caring. I was holding my head up literally with just my neck muscles waiting for it to settle for like 5-10 minutes which was so uncomfortable. She didn't even attempt to offer me anything for my neck or see how I'm doing. Finally, she rinsed the hair and had me go back to the chair to remove the rods. After it was all taken off she told me to wash my hair in 24 hours and come back to see her so she can trim the ends because it is damaged due to the bleached I already had when I came in so she cannot comb through it until after I shampoo and condition it at home. Anyway, stupid me thinking it was normal I even tipped her $20 and told her I'll call to schedule an appointment for a trim. I wanted to see her again since she was the one that permed my hair rather than seeing a different stylist. A few days later I called to make an appointment for two hair cuts, myself and my son, I specified the date to the person on the phone to book with Sone who permed my hair on that previous Saturday. She took my information and repeated it to me so of course I'm thinking I'm good to go. Comes that morning we show up and Sone asked how can she help me, I told her we are here for a hair cut appointment with her. She said she already has clients and who did I talk to? I told her I called and spoke with the lady who had the boot (in reference to a lady that broke her ankle and was in a boot). Sone told me she already had her appointed clients and she doesn't know. Rather than apologizing or trying to fix it by rescheduling us she just said she doesn't know. SMH I really can't believe she is this way as a business owner. I shouldn't have even called back for a trim after she already messed up my hair but I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt and support a local business. I ended up going somewhere else and told them what happened. The other place was very professional and friendly and FIXED my damaged hair. It's too bad this salon lacked so much skills, especially professionalism.

Beware of Great Clips March Madness $12.99 coupon details. I saw the coupon ad when I looked online…read moreto see what the wait time was for a haircut. After submitting my email information for the coupon and agreeing to get future email ads from Great Clips, I didn't get the coupon. I thought it would come in my email by the time I got to the salon two hours later. Nope! Then I read the fine print. The March Madness coupon can take up to 24 hours to show up in your email. When I asked at the Great Clips salon about the email coupon delay, I was told that the Great Clips Company didn't want people on their phones trying to look for their coupon while they were at the store.???? Sounds more like a ploy to get people into their stores only to have to turn around and come back a day later when their coupon finally shows up, or stay and pay full price. 1 star for Great Clips marketing scheme.

On my receipt it shows Patti she's always in black with curly hair every-time I see her. I came in for a quick haircut with layers after work , I had multiple reference photos. Which depicted longer hair, after asked multiple questions impolitely I referenced the bangs/layers, but she was still mentioning the length and how 'she doesn't know what to do' in a "smart tone" since it showed longer hair in the pic even after I've given her my answers... Usually it's a compliment when a stylist is quick but during this visit I didn't feel taken care of she managed to hit my scalp with her combs handles, snagging my piercings. Letting the cut hair purposefully fall, land and stay on my face. Afterwards she attempts kind customer service asking me what my job is (mind you I'm in my uniform still and other than the questions it's been dead quiet between us). Super impatient at checkout with her nail tapping after I clicked no tip due to my experience and past experiences with her. Sadly with my luck my card declined the first time (only 2 attempts were made 2nd being the last) so I had the displeasure of prolonging our encounter and was almost put in a another uncomfortable situation with my payment method between both parties mentioned above but the blonde lady helped out a second after the words left her own mouth :)
