The main bar area is open all year long; however, there is not much going on here unless there is a big event happening on or near Main Street. The bar is divey, there are a lot of bikers and a few drunkards during the motorcycle events, but I've never had any issues with anyone, plus there is plenty of security and police around. Drink prices are reasonable, especially if you're sticking to canned beer or twisted tea. I've been visiting this bar for since my first Bike Week back in 2001, so I definitely recommend a visit if you haven't been yet.

Ice cold drinks and plenty of vendor's with food to eat. During Daytona Bikeweek you could find just about everything you could image here. We got to watch the Cabbage Patch wrestling which super fun to watch. They also have Micro Wrestling across the street which was funny. Great bands playing music all day. Service from the bar tenders was quick. If you have never been at the Cabbage Patch you have to try this during the upcoming Daytona Biketoberfest. Entry is free. We ordered the ahi tuna pizza -- a crispy flatbread topped with fresh raw tuna, avocado, sesame seeds, and a drizzle of spicy aioli and teriyaki glaze. It was stunning to look at and even better to eat. The blackened fish sandwich came loaded with fresh toppings and paired perfectly with the golden fries. The grilled chicken tacos were generous and well-seasoned with a mango salsa on the side that really popped. We also got the coconut shrimp -- beautifully fried with a honey mustard dipping sauce -- and our little one loved the chicken bites and fries. Don't skip the gator bites either -- a true Florida experience, perfectly crispy and served with a honey mustard that kept us reaching for more. Everything tasted fresh, like it came straight off the boat. We toasted the afternoon with margaritas on the rocks and honestly couldn't imagine a better setting -- salt-rimmed cups, ocean breeze, the sound of waves just a few feet away. Yes, the prices are a step up, but when you factor in that you're sitting steps from the beach with food this fresh and a view like this, it's worth every penny.
