There were several areas including a large dance floor on the "bow" of the "ship". There were plenty of comfortable seating areas on both sides of the galley/elevator/bar area. The music was great and the DJ had everyone on the floor. The bartender was awesome and made me a free shot fir my birthday. At first, the peeling paint in the tub and on the balcony, as well as the water heater in the closet made me think we were in for a difficult stay. Nothing could be further from the truth. We loved our stay here. And honestly, for the price, it was easy to overlook some of the disrepair. Pros Easy access to beach Very very clean facility (yes, two verys) Stunning ocean views Clean pool and spa Walking distance to restaurants Grills available to BBQ Friendly housekeeping staff Kitchen fully stocked with everything you need! Did I mention how clean the fridge and stove were? Veteran parking! (Thank you for your service) Cons Maintenance staff was a little grumpy Pool/spa closes at dusk. Old man Smithers (maintenance) will stare angrily until you leave. (Other guests come back after he leaves for the day, we did not) Pool bathrooms are basically in the gym bathroom. They are no where near the pool. No in room laundry, but for about $5 a load there is a washer and dryer on the 5th floor. It is a timeshare, so they will try to get you to attend their presentation. (We did not) On Wednesday we remarked at how wonderful it was to sit on the couch listening to the waves, and how quiet it was...NEVER say that. Thursday night we got new neighbors who could not figure out how to close their door without slamming it, played loud music and talked over the loud music. We took a day trip Friday to get away from the noise, but someone must have complained because they were quiet Friday night. If you're not Daddy Warbucks, this is a wonderful place to spend a few days.

The front desk clerk was exceptional. I told her we were celebrating our 15 wedding anniversary. We got a gift bag full of goodies and 2 bottles of complimentary champagne. The place is a tad bit outdated, but the great staff, immaculate pool, and shuffle board totally make up for it. Every year, about 20-30 of us head down and have the time of our lives. We utilize the cabana everyday, make drinks, use the grills, play shuffleboard, and go to the beach. The location is great, clean, safe, and secure. Every year the code changes to get into the gate and the doors, so safety is not an issue. It is a block off of the beach, some of the rooms you can see the beach.. I cant wait to head down this year!
