My mom was a die-hard Ms. Pac-Man slinger back in the day, and my brother and I would burn through quarters like we were trying to keep the Oregon economy alive. The place still carries that old-school magic classic skee-ball lanes, the photo booth that's been snapping goofy faces for decades, and enough blinking lights to make a grown man feel like a kid again. Old games, new games bells ring, tickets sing, and nostalgia swings. Now these days your fun card works over at the rides too, and let me tell you something about those bumper cars. The track looks small... but those little devils spin, bang, and ricochet like a bar fight on roller skates. Fast, loud, and chaotic in other words, perfect. I always run a few laps there, but this trip I talked my wife into the Tilt-A-Whirl, that beautiful old beast that feels like it's been spinning folks silly since the 1920s. You know the one with the operator stick push forward and she flies, pull back and those cars start spinning like a politician dodging questions. By the time it really got going, we were holding on for dear life. I was laughing. My wife... not so much. Now I'll admit something bittersweet. Seaside isn't quite the little carnival town it used to be. They tore out the old roller coaster, a bunch of rides, and even that little snow cone shack at the end. These days it's more shops, more crowds, more folks than a church picnic on payday. But even with all that... Seaside still holds the crown on the Oregon coast. The beach cuts the wind just right, the Prom is perfect for a long walk, Broadway's buzzing, and the Turnaround still feels like the center of the whole show. So here's the rhyme and the reason, the simple seaside truth: Walk the Prom, hear the gulls cry, smell the salt in the air. Play some games, crash some cars, spin 'til you don't care. Drop a few bucks, laugh all day, let the good times expand Because a trip to Seaside just ain't complete... without a little time at Funland. Five stars. Still the king of coast-town fun.

I purchased a $10, and somehow a recurring $-0 monthly charge was later added to my card without my knowledge or consent. Now I have to go through the hassle of disputing it with my credit card company. I strongly recommend avoiding this place, or at the very least, paying cash and closely reviewing your receipts and statements.

There is an arcade just a block away from us. With a teen in tow, we found ourselves feeling youthful and wanting some video game time. After buying some game cards, we played and laughed the whole time. I barely beat my Wife at air hockey. I played my niece at Mario Cart. It was a ton of fun. We had a great time.

Corn Dogs, Bumper Cars, Mini-Golf, what else can you ask for? The bonus for us was,we were staying across the street. The Corn Dogs were busy. We happily waited watching Bumper Cars. It really brought back memories of being at the State Fair. The Bumper Cars were awesome and so were the Corn Dogs.

The 10th hole is the best, may you win the prize! Rain, heat wave or dark of night... you may play! We like the big open front and convince of it being on Broadway on the 1st block off the beach. It's an easy walk to grab a "Pronto Pup" and a drink then head back to a beach side bench... It's fun to see the families who like us, have come here over the years enjoying good old-time fun! Turns out they keep it raised until about 4 o'clock while they brew beer behind the theater, then the screen comes down later for basketball, games, and movies. Honestly, that just made me appreciate the place even more. I walk all over Seaside trying different spots, little hidden places, tourist places, all of it, and somehow this still ends up being my favorite lunch spot in town. The food never disappoints. Ever. The prices are shockingly good for what you get, and they somehow manage to get food out fast without sacrificing quality. What I love most is the space. Even when town is packed, you are not jammed in elbow to elbow with people. Families, kids, locals, everybody just looks comfortable there. Big open historic theater, great food, quick service, sports on the screen later in the day, and good atmosphere without the chaos. Screen up or screen down, this place is one of my favorites. Thanks guys for always being awesome.

He went to the "token machine" that puts you deposited money onto a card for playtime. My husband received a card but there was nothing on it. The machine also kept t cash that was inserted into the machine. My husband then tried to make sure he had gone through the process properly and he had. He then knocked a few times on the staff door to talk to someone...no one was there. I could not find a phone number to call, only an email address. On October 11th, I sent them an email explaining what happened and that I was demanding a refund or I would go everywhere I could and write a negative review. on October 21 at 10:42pm i received an email asking g for my Venmo information for a refund. I provided the information on October 22 at 3:42am. As I write this on October 30 at 5:51am, no refund has been given yet. Now we understand that things happen, but this is VERY BAD business especially in an area that is directed at tourism as a latge part of the city's economy. Please save yourself the headache and go to the arcade/gaming rooms somewhere else. DO NOT go to the Funtastic arcade. It WAS NOT fun and they stole our money.

The lot has a ton of tow notices clearly stating customer parking only, but the building seems up for lease. And when I went back to my car, there was a very graffiti covered bent sign, which looked like it was saying parking for the theater. I'm paranoid because some of those tow companies are straight up scary. Just saying park at your own risk. The bathroom... clean, easy to navigate with soap, easy to use sink and you get to wipe your hands. Concessions - yes! And thank you for having such a great selection, actual ice, fountain soda... delicious popcorn that was fresh... and Bravo to the sweetheart responding to my epic butter request by demonstrating how heavy the bag was.... I love you so much! The prices are completely great too! I am always scared going in to a new space, especially when I am going to be sitting down in that seat for 2 hours. What a great surprise this was - when I picked the seat on the screen, the guy said he felt the ADA seat was really the best seat in the theater at Laurelhurst. The seats are super comfy and there are tables in front of all the seats. I'd come here again.

As an old fart i have many fond memories of drive-ins, piling into the car in our jammies, seeing the latest Clint Eastwood movie...so I was delighted to hear Neptune had worked with the community to bring it back as fantastic solution to the COVID problem. They erected a decent sized screen, built a projector house; modern technology via FM transmitter (95.5) eliminates the need for the clunky old wired systems of the olden days. So, you go into the lobby (mask on!), say how many tiks you need, get your popcorn and soda and go park (or you can park first) - for two adults, one large popcorn and medium drink it was $25. Yes. You heard right. I even walked back into the lobby thinking they undercharged me. GREAT VALUE. And btw, its the cutest little theatre lobby this side of the Mississippi. Great, friendly staff inside. The previews and 'movie trivia' are locally and professionally produced with, likely, the proprietors children? Very cute! And they leveraged a local production company here in my home of Ocean Park, which did a fantastic job. The movie was nice and bright. At times the FM sound drifted a bit, usually during low volume parts. Since it was cold, we ran the engine intermittently, luckily our subaru didnt insist on turning on the headlights as some other modern cars do. Even in the rain, with intermittent windshield wipers, we really enjoyed the show! No Mask! And theres an INTERMISSION! "Lets all go to the lobby...." They had some tempting food at great prices (next time I'll come hungry) Anyway, GREAT JOB Neptune & co.! I hope they retain the drive in as a wonderful novelty for 'normal times' - Long Beach Visitors ought to add it to their list of 'what to dos in LB'. We'll be back! Oh, and smart local business owners and realtors ought to be snapping up screen time for advertising.

It's historic and the best seats are upstairs on the balcony in vintage living room couches. My only grievance is that they serve pizza but do not have ranch. It honestly was on par with cam quality. Got a refund and could hear the manager talking crap about me to other employees as I walked away. Classy. Went to a regal in Vancouver that same day to actually watch the movie, it was like an entirely different film! It was wild watching scenes I had already seen and realizing how different it was. There's a part with a spider in a web in the upper corner of a door frame that I hadn't been able to see at all at Kelso Regal because it was all shadow but it was clear as day on this screen. Not likely to return after this experience and being treated this way. I'll just go to Vancouver.

An employee came out from behind the corner, saw us through the window, looked directly at us, and then completely ignored us and walked away. No explanation, no acknowledgment, nothing. If the theater is closed, the hours and sign should reflect that. And if customers are standing outside confused, the least you can do is acknowledge them and explain what's going on. Extremely poor communication and incredibly rude customer service. And we did try calling the theater multiple times and there was no way to actually get a hold of customer service and the AI receptionist hung up on us twice.

The business also seems to be a community space which is really nice to see as well. We definitely plan to stop by here again on our next trip to Rockaway or one of the other neighboring cities. Also, this is located near one of the inland waterways and other local shops so you can take breaks from playing and get some ice cream and hang out by the water on a nice day.
