Excellent school where the students consistently test above their peers. Would recommend 10/10.

She was in 2/3rd during Covid and really got left behind. Administration was also slow to approve testing for learning disabilities. We choose AA because YES they do offer several programs for children of all learning abilities. Our daughter was able to bring her IEP and we knew all her accommodations would be met in a small setting with a high level of accountability from the faculty. But this school didn't just offer the academics we wanted it also had an amazing arts and music education which is not forfeited as it is many other places. We are also not religious and we were thrilled to find a school that feels more inclusive to people of all faiths wail also using it as an opportunity to teach. After 1 year my daughter is not only thriving she has blown past all expectations. If I had the money I'd send all my kids here tomorrow. When the younger grades contribute by reading or performing in front of a packed auditorium I am truly impressed. Wow. I am also amazed by how many teacher have come to this school FOR their children. They love the school so much they have joined the faculty. That to me speaks volumes. Don't pass this school up over 1 reviews on yelp. Take the tour and make an informed decision for yourself. So far we are beyond thrilled and excited for more to come.

However, I feel I would be doing both myself and the community a disservice if I wasn't honest about what we encountered. Within just one week of attendance, our concerns grew. We collected our 1-year-old son twice to find him in dirty diapers, and the general cleanliness of the facility was lacking. While the teachers seemed genuinely invested, the high child-to-caregiver ratio likely led to these oversights. Alarmingly, we witnessed young children being placed in timeout, a practice not allowed for their age in GA. When we raised concerns, especially after paying $3,000 for that week, the daycare dismissed us claiming they were very clear upfront about setting expectations. (We clearly expected more from them than they did of themselves.). Eventually the daycare stopped answering our questions. Parents, please think carefully before choosing Little Miss Sunshines playhouse.

She had the best teachers, from compassionate, knowledgeable, skilled and structured... There are so many teachers at this school that have made a tremendous impact on my daughter's life and early development. Ms. Eileen, Ms. Krystal, Ms. Marcia, Ms. Darlene, Ms. Dianne, Ms. Teresa, Ms. Paola, Mr. Walter, Ms. Sarah, Ms. Dena and Ms. Meghan H. My daughter excelled because of the teachers, support staff and the administration at this school. Before she was born, I toured school after school and what sold me was the level of care and understanding that this school has for individualism. In addition, their spotless records on Bright From the Start's inspections and their accreditation. Even with a transition in management a few years ago (I thought the transition could have been a bit smoother), the team did a phenomenal job in being transparent and focusing on the children. When my daughter continued to excel, the teachers came up with additional ways to keep her engaged in the class (which is REALLY hard to do). There's only one thing I can say that is truly negative about this school, and that's the fact that it is too far away for me to keep my daughter here. Moving to a new school district was a downfall when COVID-19 hit. However, I've yet to experience a school that is this well put together, transparent in communication, active in the community, and proactive about my child's care. Honestly, if you want a great school for your child, this is where you want to send them.

Our tuition at Smyrna was inclusive of breakfast (which at both locations is typically apple sauce and a small pastry). At Roswell North, your $300 a week does not include a breakfast. And now the faculty are charging a registration fee every year? So the $15,000 annually isn't enough and they will need to charge another registration fee each year for a child that is already registered. Sure do miss the other Primrose.

I have had two daughters go through all the 3s, one will be in Pre-K in the fall and one was there in 2010-11. Not only is this a family owned and operated business, they manage to bring the staff, children (and their parents and siblings!) into their fold as an extended family as well. As is the case with all families, there are sometimes challenges. They are ALWAYS handled by the Director on down immediately and in a way that will always benefit the children. While I think everyone is entitled to their opinion and I will fight for your right to express it, I respectfully disagree with the negative comments written below. There is NO WAY any child was drug across a room or tied to a chair. Now I will agree that maybe what was seen was a child tripping and being caught or a game of Rapunzel "tying up" Flynn Ryder and I'm confident if asked the situation would be explained. As for the use of the word "teacher". I believe we all use that word pretty freely. From Sunday School "teachers' to Music Class "teachers" to Ballet "teachers", I would guess most of those "teachers" do not have any type of teaching degree but, it does make it a heck of a lot easier to explain who they are to our children. Also, afternoon in any pre-school is not the educational time of the day. Academics are always in the morning, while the afternoon is for fun and let's face it, day care. And who better to play with the children than teenagers - that's why they are so often hired as babysitters, right? I can't speak to the movies being shown but again, there are exceptions to every rule and it seems that this could have been solved easily by sending in a few movies from home since they only watch them on Fridays. Also, in all the classes we have been in any PG movie that was sent in for Special Movie day was replaced by a classroom video and all the children understood why they could not watch it. We only have one more year left at Young Life and just writing that makes me sad. I can't imagine any parent, who is truly looking for a wonderful foundation to their child's academic career while still maintaining family values and open lines of communication would find anything less than perfection at this school!!

There is a pretty good mix of kids here from what I can tell... and of course lots of clique. The school is not run very well in my opinion... staff not on the sane page, issues with teachers, lots of junk emails, and you just get this feeling it in on the brink of a major meltdown down. However 2 years in it hasn't imploded yet. The school it's self is old, needs updating, refreshing, a face lift! But for what it is it is better then some I have seen. It might sound like I'm bashing the school but honestly I think middle school is just hard! For the kids, for the faculty, for the parents... it is a rough time in a kids life and this school is a picture of just that. Could the teachers use the sane platforms for info... yes... could the principal respond more timely... yes... could the kid treat each other better... yes... could there be rainbows, butterflies and unicorns flitting around making everything magical? HECK NO... it's middle school... it is generally a time of kids trying to make it through and figure out who they are. It would just be good if during this difficult time the school didn't make it harder.
