This facility has the highest turnover rate for employees of any company I've seen. This has a direct impact on the children, when Teachers are unhappy (which I've seen first hand) it directly impacts the way the children are actually treated. Although it seems they had good intentions; the standards they pride themselves in simply cannot (and are not) actually met due to the management style in place & what's expected of very low wage employees who are all pushed past their limitations; janitorial work- cleaning the classroom daily as no one else in the three months I was there cleaned the floors, mopped, cleaned carpets, etc...is done only by The Teachers, three or more times daily. Which is normal however typically weekly or biweekly a third party should be doing the deep cleaning and sanitizing or removing the any infestations, as they have this in place for the Church but not the preschool ;You must work 8 actual hours for a lunch break, instead of 9-5 you have to work 9-6 if you'd like a single break, not for the restroom, to eat, or just to step away for a minute to gather yourself. which creates very low patience and easily irritated teachers. Zero tolerance for things as important as prenatal appointments, even a death in the family. In fact, as a former employee after my father passed, I was told by the Director "it was too short of notice to take off" the minute I received the call and let her know, followed by absolutely no condolences - instead very unkind words, then fired and paid minimum wage for my final check, which wasn't much of a difference from what they pay but it's the principal that a Christian Facility would act in such a manner. read more
